I need help please! My curve won't load past the white loading blackberry screen. I downloaded an app from the app store and it crashed my phone. I called my carriers tech support but they are backed up and it might be a days before they can get back to me.

Whenever I try to load a web page it appears as a white screen which says 'Loading' at the bottom, but never actually loads.I noticed it occured after I returned from abroad. Before my holiday I had turned roaming and data off but turned it back on when I was back in the UK - does this have anything to do with the internet not working? My internet provider is Orange.I've tried taking the battery out and it works for a few minutes but shortly stops again.

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy admittedly very old Blackberry Bold 9000 has turned itself off and won't turn on past the white loading screen. It has a constant red light on with a black screen. The red light will disappear and the screen will go white and show the black timer box thingy for a minute or so like it is about to load then the process will repeat. It's been doing this since last night. I've finally admitted its time to upgrade and have ordered a new handset but would like to boot this up even if it is only to transfer current information.

After i put it into charge - then only a successful start is done. So the only solution as of now i have - is whenever my blackberry hangs - i need to remove the battery - insert it again - and immediately put it into charging via USB/Electric-Power. Even if i re-insert the battery - the white screen comes - unless and until i put it into charging Earlier i was guessing - my battery was weak.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo I've gotten brave (or frustrated) enough to update my 4s to 8.1.1 from the initial iOS 8 update. I can only get to the point where it asks me to agree to the terms and conditions. I agree, twice, then everything stops. I have plenty of space to download the update. I tell you, ever since this iOS 8 update, my fondness of Apple products has diminished to the same level of my fondness for PCs.

3 days ago i was using my phone like normal when i got a white sceen, ive tried pulling the battery but it just goes straight back to the white screen. Does anybody have any idea on how to fix this? Bear in mind i cant connect to Blackberry Software Desktop because for some reason it wont recognise my device, i want to state the phone hasnt been dropped and hasnt been near any water, it just randonly went white.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThis is my first Blackberry. It's a Curve 9320. I switched it on, and it comes up with Device Language Selection Screen with English (US) and a down arrow, and an OK box. Nothing I've tried gets me past this screen. I would prefer UK English, but either English would do if I could use the phone! The paperwork that came with the phone seems to assume you know how to use it. Searching the Blackberry site hasn't come up with anything useful.

I need to access my contacts but I guess when it hit the ground the face buttons got disconnected so I can't do anything at all. I'm due to get my new phone this tuesday and I have a couple hundred contacts, most are important. What should I do? I've tried syncing it and backing it up but that's only for the media card. I can't access the device memory to get into the contacts. I also have like a bajillion texts left unchecked.

I enabled a password on my blackberry 8530 (boost mobile) and after a few minutes it turned off and restarted itself. It loads the bar all the way but then starts over. I have tried a battery pull, and plugged it into my computer both with and without the battery but the DM wont recognize the device. What (if anything) can I do???

View 14 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry Curve 8530. Several months ago, during daily use, the screen would all of a sudden go black. A battery pull would solve this problem for a while. Eventually this became more frequent. Symptoms progressed (it seemed that if I set the phone down too quickly it would reset) Finally, the phone would turn on, then go immediately to a white screen where it was undetectable by my computer. I contacted my service provider and they said the phone was toast and (amazingly enough) gave me a free loaner to use for the duration of my contract (all info transfered via an old backup, so nothing was lost) After my new phone was working I left my Curve plugged in at my office. Yesterday as I was leaving I looked at the phone again, and the screen was white and telling me to reload software 507.
I plugged it into my computer to begin the process and to my surprise the computer all of a sudden detected the phone and successfully upgraded the software. All looked great, I got past the password stage, and was just going to begin reloading my information when the screen faded to blank again. I still have the free loaner phone, so it's not a big deal, but it's bugging me as to what the problem could be. As of right now the computer can no longer detect the phone again
my dog got hold of my 8530 and put a toothmark in the screen cover. The screen was also damaged meaning I could see white and grey stripes. I bought a new screen and replaced the old one. Now when I turn it on, I get the white screen and i cannot dial out or recieve calls. Basically the phone is dead. I was able to connect to my desktop and install the latest OS version. I put the old screen back in and I still cannot recieve or dial. I must have done something while taking it apart or putting back together? It is a very simple procedure so I would think it difficult to screw it up. Before I took it apart, i could get phone calls and dial out but i couldnt see the outgoing or incoming call screen. I took the battery out before I took it apart. Now when I connect to my desktop, the connection comes and goes as if you were plugging and plugping in the device.

I dryed it with my phone with the hair dryer then after put it in a bag of rice; i checked it every day after two days when i checked it it worked okay, then after bout 10 minutes there was lines at the bottom, i took out the batter thinking it wud go aaway but it came back and more of them; i tried again and the whole phone screen had black lines then i ut it back in the bag of rice for another day then when i checked it the whole screen was pure white; what do i do?

Upon taking it out of my bag that morning (where there were no liquids), I was horrified to discover that the entire left and middle part of the screen was white, with a gradual faded clearing toward the right.
