I'm on my Samsung galaxy s5 and I'm trying the find the previous pin I used. I need it to get into my old s3. I changed my pin about four months back for my s5 and now I cant remember the one I used to always use. I have the pin I'm currently using on my s5 so I'm not locked out of my new phone. Is there anyway to see the last pin I used?
View 2 RepliesI have a galaxy s6 Sm-g920X (live demo unit). It auto updated to version 5.1.1 and since that time it isn't charging past 70%!
Furthermore, if I turn it off and plug it in, it will turn on automatically! I can't make it stay off when plugged in.
Side question: How can I disable annoying low battery power notification when it reaches 15%?
I've had my Galaxy S5 since it came out and haven't had any issues with it yet. All of a sudden this evening I noticed that when I got to the lockscreen that the GPS icon appeared in my notification bar. When I dragged down the bar it said "finding location" which was unclearable from the notification list. After unlocking the screen, sometimes the GPS icon will go away, and other times it just stays there.
Why it'd randomly start doing this now and never happened before? Any way I can get it to avoid doing that without turning my GPS off? I'm just concerned about it draining my battery life, but don't want to lose the benefits of GPS staying on.
Samsung Galaxy s5 froze today and will not get past startup screen. Reading differs posts I tried to reset but still will not go to android screen . Ha blue writing in top left stating recovery booting but then nothing?

In the middle of the setting up process, I was redirected to a separate page asking me to log in to the previous account I had before I abnormally reset the phone. Since I never made one, I am now stuck on that screen. Is there a way for me to bypass it or reset my phone so that I do not have to go through the Samsung account log in?

View 2 Replies View RelatedFor reasons unknown, after shutting off my phone (I suppose it was a forced shutoff, since the webpage I was viewing had frozen), my Galaxy SII now refuses to go past the splash page/start-up screen, that says "SAMSUNG GALAXY SII". The text will display for about 5 seconds, then the screen will go black for about five seconds, then it will redisplay the text for five seconds, in a never-ending loop.
The phone will charge, and if I turn it off then plug it in I get the standard picture of a charging battery. If I plug the phone in my laptop, the laptop does not recognize that it is plugged in, though the phone does charge.
I've tried getting access to the recovery menu, but I can't seem to get to it - once I push the power button, it enters the splash page loop. The only thing that will end the loop is removing the battery.
I have no idea what I've done to force it into this loop, but it's extremely inconvenient.
I have had my s6 for about a month now and so far so good however i do have a few issues. when i want to dial a number and i press the numbers ( i order to find name of person im ringing) it takes a while for the names to appear whereas my s3 was much more responsive. if i pressed 6 instantly all the names begining with m n o would pop up.
also on two occasions i tried using google maps. on my s3 it would give me 3 alternative routes but s6 only giving me one. it also keeps losing gps signal and the map is very out of sync it would show me on the wrong road.
I used odin to return to original firmware, and it passes but won't go past title screen. The battery won't even charge. Is everything deleted? Can att tell it was rooted?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have trusted voice enabled so saying "OK google" should unlock my screen but it doesn't. This is difficult when I am trying to set an alarm. I don't feel like picking my phone up and having to use my fingerprint to unlock the screen and accept the alarm.
try to confirm that it doesn't or does unlock their lock screen on the s6? I am on the latest software.
my gps won't seem to stop finding location. it does it like every minute making my highest battery use the android system with gps being awake all the time. tried shutting down phone. tried turning location services off then on. when i do that it will no longer recognize the "trusted places" even after it has established location.

View 11 Replies View RelatedSo my Tour bricked after I swapped in a fresh battery today. Everything has been fine. No recently d/l application. I don't know what happened, but it doesn't matter now. I had some trouble getting the device wiped, but it went from Reload Software 522 to Reload Software 507. 507 means it's wiped correct? If so, my next issue is finding the OS on my computer. I went into C>program files>Research in Motion don't see OS 4.7.1.XX. Any help in directing me to my OS would be appreciated. I haven't deleted anything on my computer(VISTA) and I've upgraded OS's a few times in the past. I don't know where it could have gone or maybe I'm just blind. If it is gone, maybe someone can direct me to a replacement.
