I was reading a Google now card. I got distracted, and left the smartphone temporarily. When I went back to continue reading the file, the article was gone. Is there a way to recover that lost article.?

From time to time my Nexus 5 won't let me share articles on Facebook; if I want to share a YouTube video tommy FB timeline the video won't show up on the posting...the same if I want to share a Huffington Post article (or any site from Chrome). I have a VZW LG G2 and it let's me share everything without a problem...

View 3 Replies View RelatedFor the past couple of months, it's been fine, showing commute times and the weather where I'm at and stories related to searches, etc. But in the past couple of days, it has fallen apart, now saying 99% of the time that it has no cards for me at this time. Even after repeated weather requests, it won't pop a card for it unless I manually set one for home.
I've tried toggling it off and on; switching accounts; erasing stored data (which only wiped out all my home screens); nothing works but turning it off and on and opting in which beings up one set of news story cards which when swiped away never return. No stocks, no weather, no commute times, nada, nyet, nothing.
After uninstalling updates to Google Search - WARNING: This will reset all your homescreens to default, wiping out your folders, etc. - it seems to restore normal Now function. Just make sure to update Search to current before rebuilding your home screens otherwise you'll have to swipe from the beginning of your app list every time.
I'm having trouble saving several contact cards sent via MMS in hangouts. Long tap reveals no save options, just the usual forward, delete etc. I just can't seem to work this out!
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to find the setting on how to turn gmail cards on. I'm not sure if it's just on or what but I do not see the setting anymore in Google Now's settings. I only see "Sports teams", "Stocks", "Places", "Everything else" (which only has 4 settings, and gmail not being one of them).
How to turn this on? I'm presuming it's not working because my package tracking cards haven't been showing up.
I have not been able to connect the phone since the windows 10 upgrade. It never finds the device.

The biggest letdown I experience is that google now no longer shows cards for my home or work, and I don't know how to bring it out. I checked all location settings are there. Even saying navigate home doesn't do anything but google search.
View 13 Replies View RelatedHaving issues with their Nexus 5 not finding their 5ghz Wifi network?My N7 does have some issues however if I toggle the airplane mode on it, it will find and connect the 5ghz network.However, on the N5 toggling airplane mode, restarting the phone, nothing seems to find it.The network is not hidden, though did try just entering the WiFi information to the phone to give it a try and it still didn't find or connect.I downloaded Wifi analyzer and it won't find the network either.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've had my Galaxy S5 since it came out and haven't had any issues with it yet. All of a sudden this evening I noticed that when I got to the lockscreen that the GPS icon appeared in my notification bar. When I dragged down the bar it said "finding location" which was unclearable from the notification list. After unlocking the screen, sometimes the GPS icon will go away, and other times it just stays there.
Why it'd randomly start doing this now and never happened before? Any way I can get it to avoid doing that without turning my GPS off? I'm just concerned about it draining my battery life, but don't want to lose the benefits of GPS staying on.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have had my s6 for about a month now and so far so good however i do have a few issues. when i want to dial a number and i press the numbers ( i order to find name of person im ringing) it takes a while for the names to appear whereas my s3 was much more responsive. if i pressed 6 instantly all the names begining with m n o would pop up.
also on two occasions i tried using google maps. on my s3 it would give me 3 alternative routes but s6 only giving me one. it also keeps losing gps signal and the map is very out of sync it would show me on the wrong road.
my recovery after I installed the latest android version(also installed custom rom and elementalx kernel, but I don't think it has anything to do with it), when I try to flash recovery, it works basically, but whenever I start the phone it automatically goes into recovery, and the only way to fix it is to flash another boot.img file, it reboots fine when I do it, but then I don't have recovery only the dead red triangle thing (Don't give me the power+vol fix, that's not the solution I'm looking for, as its not a very useful recovery), I tried to flash few recoveries/other boot.img files, but none of them boot regulary + recovery is working..I doubt its a problem with the boot.img I try to flash, because I tried so many and it didn't worked, anyway.

If i update to 2.6.1 xposed and to 3.1.4 GravityBox I have massive battery drain.
Maybe I'm updating in the wrong way. This is how I do:
1.Download and install latest xposed apk.
2.Framework--> Install/Update
3.Reboot.

Before the latest update, most of my apps were organized into folders and some of these folders were placed on the home screens. After the updates, some of the folders are "gone" not only from the home screen but from the apps area. I can see the apps if I go into App Manager, but I cannot open them from there. So I currently cannot find any way to open many apps that I previously downloaded (and app manager says I still have). Strangely, this only happened with some apps and folders but not all . What do I need to do to regain access to these apps?

And says this is the latest firmware.Which seems incorrect, as the phone is still on Gingerbread.

But when I try to do the IMAP account, I enter the login details, server etc., and when it tries to test the incoming side of things it force quits. I've rebooted etc.

View 2 Replies View RelatedDuring the last six months of so the problems with the hires camera in my SGS2 have turned from being just really annoying to fatal. Earlier, my camera or the firmware/software had poor abilities to focus the picture correctly giving blurry and random results. Later on, the saving or processing of the photos right after shooting were stopped by crashing of the samsung Camera software. This happened by camera app giving error message and then shutting down itself. Finally, after the firmware update (I9100XWLPG) about a week ago the camera has totally stopped working. The application shows no live picture and crashes after 10-15 sec. I cannot access the settings and the only thing the application does is that it turns the icons on screen along with the rotation of the phone.
