Aug 23, 2011I recently acquired a bb curve 8520 and it won't get past my bb I'd details. It doesn't say invalid I'd just can not access at this time which has been going on over 24hrs now!

BB Curve :: 8520 Can't Get Past Reboot Stage After Battery Pull
Oct 25, 2011I've got a curve 8520 and earlier today it was playing up and so I decided to re-boot it by taking the battery out. It seemed normal and I'd left it for a while but when I came back to it, the re-boot hadn't gone past about 2/3 of the way. I've tried several different things, plugging it into the computer, and the wall, and also taken the battery out several more times and each time it still doesn't go past 2/3.

Apr 13, 2010BB Newbie here, just got the Curve 8530 yesterday.My question (sorry if its already been answered in a previous thread, I can't find one):
How do I make it save user names and passwords for logging in to secure web sites? We upgraded to the BB so that we could accept new orders on the fly, but the log in page for our client does not save the user name and password, and we have to type it in each time; it can mean the difference between getting the order or losing it to another vender.

Jul 8, 2010I've been trying to set up my email account through the wizard set up and have been largely unsuccessful. I read a couple of posts that have given a step-by-step process. My only problem is that I don't have an option that says 'Add account.' Here are the steps I've followed:
1) Go to Email Setup
2) Choose 'I want to create or add an email address.
3) Click next
4)Click next again
5)Then, I get a message which says 'Existing Users, to log in, please provide your username and password.'
I don't have an option to add an account. When I put in my username and password into the fields, I get a message saying please enter a valid username. (My service provider already set up my Gmail, and couldn't add the other one. I told him I'd figure it out)

May 1, 2010I need some expert help on loading the continued error I am receiving while loading the software to my 8350i. After going through the tutorial on crackberry.......everything appears to be loading just fine when this same error continues to display:
An error has occurred while updating your device's software.Device communications error encountered. [A:0x0000000F]
Please try the following:
- Disconnect your device and restart your computer.
- Restart the loading process.
How do I get past this and reload the software successfully??? I have desktop manager closed and am loading the correct software.
BB Curve :: Cannot Scroll Past Certain Areas In Apps?
Sep 23, 2012I encountered this problem a long time ago but it just recently became very disruptive.(first off, my phone is a BlackBerry Curve 8530)It appears that a bug causes the trackpad to stop scrolling past a particular area for whatever reason.Some time ago, I encountered this problem in my iheartradio app. I was unable to scroll through all of the genres to get to the one I wanted. I can't remember which, but for all intents and purposes, let's say there were 20 genres. I could scroll down through genres 1-15 but I could not scroll any further in order to get to 16-20. I never figured out why it did that, but the problem was "resolved" after I updated the app (because of the interface change). The problem went away becauses the list of genres were oriented in a very different manner.
Now, I have encountered this problem in the App World app.I was bored and started playing in App World and came across "iSpeech Translator" (which is No. 25 in the "Top Free" category). When it was installing, I hit the back button to go back to the "Top Free" list (did this cause the problem?) and now it appears that my phone became "stuck" at No. 25....in ALL categories. Top Free, Top Paid, New Arrivals, Top Rated....in all of them, I cannot scroll past the 25th app....and it is incredibly frustrating. I can only scroll from 1 to 25...and no further.I've tried reinstalling App World, downgrading App World, and pulling the battery but nothing has worked so far. I was unable to find a reference to my specific problem through Google so I'm not sure what to do.

Sep 12, 2012This is my first Blackberry. It's a Curve 9320. I switched it on, and it comes up with Device Language Selection Screen with English (US) and a down arrow, and an OK box. Nothing I've tried gets me past this screen. I would prefer UK English, but either English would do if I could use the phone! The paperwork that came with the phone seems to assume you know how to use it. Searching the Blackberry site hasn't come up with anything useful.

I need to access my contacts but I guess when it hit the ground the face buttons got disconnected so I can't do anything at all. I'm due to get my new phone this tuesday and I have a couple hundred contacts, most are important. What should I do? I've tried syncing it and backing it up but that's only for the media card. I can't access the device memory to get into the contacts. I also have like a bajillion texts left unchecked.

Now when I try to sync, I get a message that over 600 of my past calendar items will be deleted if I continue with sync. Well, im not a very heavy BB user but ive never had my batt go dead on me but it happened! i totally couldnt turn my phone on until i put in my charger.Then it happens randomly whereby my phone will heat up and the battery drops 5% every 10mins or so! until it shuts off!! It happened once right after i fully charged my phone and it shut off within the next hour.Anyone knows whats happening?? i suspected whether it was any of my installed apps that are draining my batt, so i shut off everything! i mean no msn no foursquare no twitter only emails are on but yet it still happens!!Help please? i hope its just the batt thats screwed not my phone.

Jun 21, 2012I have already an account in Blackberry App World, which I have been using for the past month (my bb curve is 3 months old) but I have encountered an error that stated below:
"There is an issue with the current session. login to continue. (Error Id: 30702) " Then I hit OK button as it is the only choice given.
I go to Options > click Device > Blackberry ID to update or enter my credentials. But it gives me anerror: "Unable to update your Blackberry ID account information". Then I hit OK button as it is the only choice given.
This is the first time I have encountered this. I have also contacted my network provider, but they can't assist me on this issue, and directed me to blackberry support.

Jan 21, 2012v5.0.0.67 I tried to log into Blackberry app world I entered my email address onto Blackberry ID user name I no this is the right email address I have after a few attempts entered my password which is correct one after a little time I get this message "Enter the user name associated with this smart phone". all i can do is press the ok button and that takes me back to Blackberry app world loggin . I no I am putting the correct email and pass word in but still i cannot get on to app world I have tried using the forgot password this confirms my email address then asks me for password recovery question which I cannot remember at all. I do not have many attemps left on my password recovery and now I am stuck and do not no what to do. I am positive that I have entered my correct email and password because when i have entered them it takes me to "Enter the user name associated with this smart phone" it deos not say incorrect details entered .
