BB Curve 8350i :: How To Get Past RELOAD Software 507
I need some expert help on loading the continued error I am receiving while loading the software to my 8350i. After going through the tutorial on crackberry.......everything appears to be loading just fine when this same error continues to display:
An error has occurred while updating your device's software.Device communications error encountered. [A:0x0000000F]
Please try the following:
- Disconnect your device and restart your computer.
- Restart the loading process.
How do I get past this and reload the software successfully??? I have desktop manager closed and am loading the correct software.

My bb is messed up cause everything has been erased and the only thing that comes up is a white screen that says reload software:513? What can i doto get everything back. I know i have to download everything agian but can sum1 tell me how and step by step?? I own a bb 8350i.

BB Curve 8350i :: Trying To Reload Software?
I have tried everyting and it does the sam thing everytime at the same time. When the app loader goes to " load jvm and system sofware" the phone goes from white 507 screen to black my computer makes the disconnect sound and then it always sits and the app loader just does its process and then everytime it says device communication error A:0x0000000F > then the phone boots back up and says the same 507 messege.? Its like the usb is turning it off right when the app loader tries the download sequence. it does the same thing at the same time no matter what> i have tried wiping with bbsak and reloading but same thing happens ? I have even went to usb power options and nothing . tried to reinstall usb drivers and tried again > restarted comp nothing> And its not rebooting over and over the app loader actually recognizes the pin everytime i connect it > so its not a problem with seeing the device. I have done it over and over and same thing happens.>>> Its screen goes black thge red led comes on for 3 nseconds and then it sits there black and the app loader never gets past the "load jvm and system software" step. It then goes back to the white screen and app loader says the error communicating A:0x0000000F everytime> Does anyone have this happen? Any tips? I need serious help > I have read all the 101 lecture on a nuked berry and its states that the berry is in a constant reboot sequence which mine isnt doing> It akll work like its supposed to until I hit the finish button on the app loader> Right when I do the phone acts like it gets disconnected from the comp when its still connected> I am trying to update to .313 on a b.b 8350i with boost> I even tried to delete the vendor xml file in app loader and still doing the same thing> I know it would work if the damn phone wouldnt disconnect by itself > If anyone will please help if they have any suggestions thanks alot>

BB Curve 8350i :: Reload Software : 507 After Update To .204
I typed the title wrong, I was updating to 4.6.1.294, sorry.While updating I got the fatal error has occurred message, and can't seem to get it working again. I tried updating from the DM first, that didn't work. I tried running from the apploader folder, that didn't work. Same error.I tried wiping from jl_cmder, it says it connects for like a split second - just enough time to read it saying connected, then it goes back to the main menu. I also tried to downgrade from the DM program, that didn't work either, same fatal error. I took it into the Telus store, and the fella there plugged it into his computer and said there wasn't much he could do with it, besides charge me $180 for a out of warranty replacement. I've tried all the usb ports on my computer to no avail. Anything else I could try before I save up my money for a replacement?

BB Curve 8350i :: 8350i No New Voice Mail Message Tone Alert
Better 1/2 and I bought new 8350i's in early July and up until this point we've had no issues.The sudden issue we're having is that when missing a call and a caller leaves a VM message the message tone and red led indicator has suddenly stopped working on both of our phones. The only way to know you have a new message is when you view te screen and the new message icon appears in the normal top left location. Not sure why this suddenly changed on both phones they were working perfectly fine up until about a week ago. All other MMS and email notification tones/LED's are working normal.

BB Curve 8350i :: 8350i - Possible To Have Microsoft Outlook Emails - Boost
I have seen bits and pieces of how to do this, successfully, yet unsuccessfully. The only successful email "push" I have is ShangMail which sends my AOL mail to my device. I am in need of syncing my school email to my 8350i. My school uses Microsoft Outlook Exchange. The name is: Outlook Web Access. I have tried "Setup" -> "Setup Wizard" -> "Email Setup" and the only option it gave me was "I want to use a work email account with a BlackBerry Enterprise Server". I continued the steps but the BlackBerry Enterprise Server administrator has not provided me with an Enterprise Activation password. I am completely clueless as to what any of this means. If I hit "yes", it asks for my Email, Password, Activation Server Address, displays my PIN, and mentions the Status is Not Activated. If I hit "no", it tells me "Contact your system administrator to find out whether an Enterprise Activation password will be provided, or if you need to install the Blackberry Desktop Software" (which I have, v5.0.1). Then it says, "Click Next to continue with the setup wizard. You can set up your email after you complete the wizard." I hit "Next" and it made me setup my WiFi. The setting up of the WiFi was successful but it never helped me set up/finish the email setup. Please, school email is very important and I am in dire need of receiving them to my device when I am not on campus and/or not around a computer.

I'm very new to this forum and hope that someone could be of help. I have an 8350i that has multiple contact lists as listed below Contact Lists: Desktop Desktop Unknown The problem is I cannot sync the second "Desktop" selection to my outlook contacts to restore. The contacts were wiped out in outlook and I'm trying to use the blackberry to restore them. When I select the "Desktop" it tells me that Wireless Synchronization: Not Available. In fact all three say this. I've tried wiping the handled and doing a restore of the address book. Once I've done this, I've tried to activate via BES. Everything else syncs with the exception of the contact list I need. Please help, there are over 1700 contacts that I do not wish to enter manually. Thanks and let me know if more info is needed to help me resolve.

8350i battery wont charge. I plug it in and acts like it is going to start charging even changes the screen to the clock but after 15 seconds the charger stops charging . I swap batts with my wifes 8350i and it works fine thats how.i am charging my batt. My computer wont even reconize it when I plug it in and I downloaded the software . I have tried 5 chargers all work on my wifes not on mine help my bb is only 3 wks old it did work till today help please

Now that Boost will be legitimately offering a BB, the 8330, is it worth getting rid of the 8350i? I NEVER use DC, and is gaining the 3g speeds worth losing wifi over? Are there any other details I left out that would be a dividing factor?

BB Curve :: 9300 3G Won't Get Past Startup Bar?
Well this is the first problem I have run into with the Blackberry 9300 3G. Noticed I didnt have a signal so I took out the battery and waited 30 seconds and reinserted the Battery. Problem is the white progress bar fills up to then end bar then stops there. Of course phone will not work when that happens. I taken out and reinstalled the battery numerous times with the same result.

Here's the issue (I've looked everywhere for an answer but no one has the same problem):I'm gonna give you a timeline so you can understand the issue a little better. April 9th, 2009 10:12AM: I receive an e-mail on my BlackBerry from Bplay informing me that Mega Man III is now available on their website (yipee!).May 19th, 2009 12:46AM: I receive that same e-mail that was sent April 9th. Inbox reads: Tue, May 19, 2009 | 12:46a | Bplay etc... but when I open the message, it says: April 9, 2009 10:12 AM. That was only ONE example out of the usual 4-6 PER DAY that it happens.When I go to my Gmail account through gmail.com on my PC, those e-mails are marked as unread but in their respective place according to time. Additional Info:I've got a Curve 8330 on Verizon on BIS.

BB Curve :: Cannot Scroll Past Certain Areas In Apps?
I encountered this problem a long time ago but it just recently became very disruptive.(first off, my phone is a BlackBerry Curve 8530)It appears that a bug causes the trackpad to stop scrolling past a particular area for whatever reason.Some time ago, I encountered this problem in my iheartradio app. I was unable to scroll through all of the genres to get to the one I wanted. I can't remember which, but for all intents and purposes, let's say there were 20 genres. I could scroll down through genres 1-15 but I could not scroll any further in order to get to 16-20. I never figured out why it did that, but the problem was "resolved" after I updated the app (because of the interface change). The problem went away becauses the list of genres were oriented in a very different manner. Now, I have encountered this problem in the App World app.I was bored and started playing in App World and came across "iSpeech Translator" (which is No. 25 in the "Top Free" category). When it was installing, I hit the back button to go back to the "Top Free" list (did this cause the problem?) and now it appears that my phone became "stuck" at No. 25....in ALL categories. Top Free, Top Paid, New Arrivals, Top Rated....in all of them, I cannot scroll past the 25th app....and it is incredibly frustrating. I can only scroll from 1 to 25...and no further.I've tried reinstalling App World, downgrading App World, and pulling the battery but nothing has worked so far. I was unable to find a reference to my specific problem through Google so I'm not sure what to do.

This is my first Blackberry. It's a Curve 9320. I switched it on, and it comes up with Device Language Selection Screen with English (US) and a down arrow, and an OK box. Nothing I've tried gets me past this screen. I would prefer UK English, but either English would do if I could use the phone! The paperwork that came with the phone seems to assume you know how to use it. Searching the Blackberry site hasn't come up with anything useful.

BB Curve :: Cannot Get Past Lock Screen To Access Contacts
I dropped my phone I've had for the past 2 years for the last time. I need to access my contacts but I guess when it hit the ground the face buttons got disconnected so I can't do anything at all. I'm due to get my new phone this tuesday and I have a couple hundred contacts, most are important. What should I do? I've tried syncing it and backing it up but that's only for the media card. I can't access the device memory to get into the contacts. I also have like a bajillion texts left unchecked.

BB Curve :: 8520 Can't Get Past Reboot Stage After Battery Pull
I've got a curve 8520 and earlier today it was playing up and so I decided to re-boot it by taking the battery out. It seemed normal and I'd left it for a while but when I came back to it, the re-boot hadn't gone past about 2/3 of the way. I've tried several different things, plugging it into the computer, and the wall, and also taken the battery out several more times and each time it still doesn't go past 2/3.

I have a 8900 and it does not charge past 2 bars it shows it chargin but doesn't move past 2 bars I wiped hanheld deleted all apps and a tmobile rep had send me a "updated" O.S through email to reinstall which was the same sh*t I had by the way 4.6.1.231 and I did it and still won't charge past 2 bars anyone have this problem I was told it was a phone issue and not battery but I don't want to buy another battyer till I get a reasonable answer what you guys think anyone have this happen?

I am a Windows Mobile diehard who just converted to Blackberry after using WM for about 7 years (Windows CE 2.0 through WM 6.1). I was wondering if someone could help me. I just bought the Curve 8330 from Verizon. My today screen only shows 2 appointments when I use the Dimension theme. Is there anyway to have it display the entire days appointments, including appointments that have already passed (i.e. still show an appointment that occurred at 10:00AM even if the current time is 1:00PM)?
