i'm having some trouble loggin in in App World. I got my ID, but when i type my email and password, after it gets de menu "authenticating", it says :" An error has occured, try again later."
I'm trying to use the Appworld on my Curve 8530, but I want it to only use the WiFi (I just have the Blackberry Social plan with Koodo with no data plan).
Right now, I've connected my phone to my router (a Netgear WNR1000 v2) using WPA2-PSK [AES] encryption and the PSK. Both the Router and the Phone say that they are connected, the router assigned it an IP addy (192.168.X.X), the phone says its connected but on the manage connections screen, there is no green check next to WiFi (only a square with a white line through it).
When I try turning off the mobile connection and only use WiFi I get the following:
"You do not have sufficient wireless coverage or your connection to the wireless network is turned off" I don't want to run the risk of getting overage charges with my provider
Seriously, why can't they just have the Appworld run in the desktop software, and when you sync the phone, it updates the software you download.
I am currently using a Blackberry Curve 9300 3G running os 6 (6.0.0.448) and whenever I download Appworld, it does not appear on my homescreen. This started back when I upgraded BB AppworldPlease be aware,1.I have clicked the "Show all" button and it doesn't appear2. I have checked in all folders. 3. Multiple reinstalations, but no positive results 4. Several Device Reboots/Battery pulls/Factory Restarts were attempted, but no positive outcome 5. When I look under Application Management, Blackberry Appworld (3.1.4.25) IS InstalledIt seems that others are having this problem as well, but does anybody know how to fix this!

I just got me a BlackBerry Curve 8520 and installed the latest version - 822 that leaked but still no show. My problem is that I can't find the AppWorld - I mean can't find it anywhere in the menu. And the Application list says I have it installed. Anyone has any idea?! Look all over the menu but somehow can't see from where to start it up.
I bought my BB Curve 9360 second hand and, despite making sure I was on a BB supported contract with Orange, have never been able to successfully download apps from appworld. I press 'download' and up comes the Agree/ Disagree box, which disappears after I select 'Agree'. And then - nothing. It has returned to the previous screen detailing information about the app and when I check my downloads, there it isn't. I have experienced a similar thing when I go on the payment methods option - I select 'Agree' and the screen doesn't change. I've been on several other forums but can't find any which have the same problem.I don't understand whether it's my BB or Orange or what?!
I have a blackberry 8520 and I have a Blackberry ID I cant download things from the blackberry Appworld. I don't know why, I have try like a 100 times and it says all the time : Blackberry ID has a problem try again later. I waited for 1 month and it still doesn't work.
Initializing new phones for the kids, and downloaded the latest App World update (3.1.0.58) through an old 2.1 App World update process. App World icon is MIA, although the application is clearly installed when I check Applications (it's on the list, with all the modules showing). I have reinstalled the OS, deleted Application Manager and App World and reinstalled them, done several battery pulls - all to no avail. I have checked for hidden icons, checked all folders, but I cannot find the icon, nor can I start App World. No application updates are showing on the status bar, even though I know several need updates.Running OS 6.0 Bundle 2391 (v6.0.0.534, Platform 6.6.0.200) on a Curve 9300, registered with Koodo and connected to my wifi network.
in my BB curve 8520 there is appworld icon but i cant open it...What do i need to install? when i press it it anly says "the data service is not operational.
I just had some apps signaling me that it was time to upgrade them. I went to do so and it wanted me to enter my password. Not sure why it wasn't automatically logging in as it had done so before. Tried the "Forgot password" option and it didn't have my email address on file. I then tried every email address that I have thinking I used a different one and could never get it to work. Went to the AppWorld website and did the same thing with the same results. So then I figured I'd just create the account again with the email address being used for the BB (which is what I thought I had done before). I went ahead and set up the account, and submitted and I waited for the email to activate my account. I never got the email and thought I did something wrong. Tried again and it told me the username and email was being used. I still can't get the account to work and if I am supposed to get an email to activate the account, I haven't received one.
Since the last update of the appworld application (around one week ago) I encounter some problems with its search feature. Indeed, when I enter a keyword in the search field, it sends me back the result by categories (News/Games/My World...). And if I click on any categories to get the details of applications found, the appworld application freezes. I must click on the back/return key to regain control so I never have the result of what I searched.
So each time I need a new application by searching, I must use the web blackberry site and a QR code scanner. And, regarding this point, I have another question: could you explain me why I'm not able to install some basic applications on my recent BB like "yahoo!", "viigo" or one of the RIM gift "bejeweled" ? When I try to install them, appworld answers "this application is not available for this terminal" (translation from french message). I'm very surprised that those application are not available on one of the most recent device and with the last OS.

I own a BB for only 3 days now. I was wondering if the device was normally sold with Appworld already install? It was not on mine. I wanted to download it today, here the process:
1- Go to BB.com, send the link on my email...err: I don't have internet explorer 5 or higher on my device (can't download it for the same reason!) 2- Go to BB.com to download it on my desktop....err, I use firefox (mac), 3- open VMWare Fusion, run Internet explorer 5, crash. 4- install internet explorer 7...crash 5- Look in the application loader in the desktop manager, I can uninstall/install Appworld on my device! Do it. I still can't see in in my applications.
I just downloaded OS 5.0.0.509 Wind Hellas and cant find a download link for the BB app world while my old one says install successfull but nothing happens.
I can't log into imessage. When I restart my iphone 3GS it asks me to enter my imessage account password, as far as i know I haven't got one, unless it is the same as my itunes account which I thought it would be. what I can do to get it to work?
I can't login to BlackBerry ID, there's a message "unable to login to your BlackBerry ID account".I've read the KB2812. What should I do for fixing it? Should I reset my device to factory settings?
I have a blackberry curve. I receive mails, BB, calls etc but I cannot login to my blackberry ID. As a result, I cannot download etc. Its been on for 2weeks now.
I just update my Curve 8520 to V.5.0.0.1036 [Platform 5.2.0.104] then I can't log in to Facebook anymore. It says cannot connect to Facebook server. I've tried to reinstall Facebook application [1.9.0.20] and reboot the device but they didn't work either.
I can't login to facebook for my blakberry, it tells me that " I've entered an incorrect email/password combination Hint: facebook passwords are sensitive (2400)" but when I log in to computer There's no problem.

When i am trying to log in in blackberry id at that time i am getting messege "There is an issue with the current session. Please login to continue : (Error id: 30702)please do the needful wht i have to do? i am not able to upgrade all apps and also not able to download apps frm apps world.
I cant upgrade my Blackberry appworld and when i click on the icon a message appears and says that the password that i entered is invalid but i haven't entered anything. Another thing, I had upgrades for the 2 apps that i dowloaded, i already upgraded it through my desktop but my mobile still has an asterisk on the appworld icon.
I have already an account in Blackberry App World, which I have been using for the past month (my bb curve is 3 months old) but I have encountered an error that stated below:
"There is an issue with the current session. login to continue. (Error Id: 30702) " Then I hit OK button as it is the only choice given.
I go to Options > click Device > Blackberry ID to update or enter my credentials. But it gives me anerror: "Unable to update your Blackberry ID account information". Then I hit OK button as it is the only choice given.
This is the first time I have encountered this. I have also contacted my network provider, but they can't assist me on this issue, and directed me to blackberry support.
I recently acquired a bb curve 8520 and it won't get past my bb I'd details. It doesn't say invalid I'd just can not access at this time which has been going on over 24hrs now!
v5.0.0.67 I tried to log into Blackberry app world I entered my email address onto Blackberry ID user name I no this is the right email address I have after a few attempts entered my password which is correct one after a little time I get this message "Enter the user name associated with this smart phone". all i can do is press the ok button and that takes me back to Blackberry app world loggin . I no I am putting the correct email and pass word in but still i cannot get on to app world I have tried using the forgot password this confirms my email address then asks me for password recovery question which I cannot remember at all. I do not have many attemps left on my password recovery and now I am stuck and do not no what to do. I am positive that I have entered my correct email and password because when i have entered them it takes me to "Enter the user name associated with this smart phone" it deos not say incorrect details entered .
my curve 8520 cant login to app world..when i open BB app world then try to download some apps, app world ask me to verify BB ID, after input my ID, app world say ""The Username and Password that you provided does not retrieve a valid BlackBerry ID. Please try again"
I cannot log in to my blackberry id account. I have changed my bb id password and when i try to login my bb id, it shows "unable to login to your bb id account". I have tried the workaround 1 from KB28212 but it only worked at that time. Once i reboot my blackberry, it happen again. I cant update and download any apps.
