my phone recently re-started itself and now wont go past 70% on the white loading bar,ive tried charging it without the battery,charging it with the battery,leaving the battery out over night,leaving it on for a few hours and nothing seems to work
View 1 RepliesSome (not all) of my contacts have recently started to go missing from my iPhone5. Not sure why.
Haven't made any changes to my settings. Only thing I can think of was that I deleted an old mail account that (1 of 3) I had coming in together into my mail inbox. Would these contacts have been linked to this mail account as a default?
The strange thing is that even after having since deleted the mail account, I can still search for and find some of the contacts in my phone. However, after sending them an SMS through iMessage (just this morning), the contact then erases itself and I'm only left seeing the number and have lost all the name and saved email data associated with the name. Â
I tried to do a restore by backing up my iPhone5 to iTunes/iCloud but this didn't work. Very time consuming to re-save all contacts manually.
My iPhone 4 has recently started to display a black screen. Has happened while using multiple apps, on a call, etc. I hold the power button down and it shows a depleted battery and suggests I plug in the charger. After a few seconds it comes back to life (apple logo, general start up process) and displays there is more than enough battery. Why?

In my iTunes window, the playlists for my iphone 4s when it is connected show correctly. The playlists include 'top 25 most played songs', 'recently played', and 'recently added'. Although they appear in iTunes even after syncing, they do not show on my iPhone and I can not use them (they aren't there). But they continue to show in the iTunes list for the device. This is frustrating because I often like to play my recently added list or top 25.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Verizon HTC M8 (Android Version) won't boot up past the HTC logo, I have tried holding power, power+volume down, and have done the power+volume up gone to recovery and wiped cache plus wiped the phone and still nothing. The phone is not rooted and it's also S-On so I'm not sure if there's a way of flashing the stock android from Verizon back onto it especially without the ability to plug it into a computer ( doesn't do much good without USB Debugging I believe)...

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have had my fantastic Nexus 5 for some time now, and up until the Android 6 update I have had no crash issues at all. It may be coincidence, but since the update a couple days ago my phone has crashed three times, and with the last crash it will not boot past the colored symbols. In fact it will cycle the symbols without end at times, but sometimes it will cycle them for 30 seconds or so and then crash back to the black screen then to "Google" followed by the colored symbol screen. Rinse and repeat.
I have tried full shut off and re-start by holding down the power button and that does nothing new. I read on these forums a suggestion for a Nexus 4 user back in July to try holding down the power button and tapping the up volume once to pull up some options, but that seems to do nothing. Perhaps I am doing it at the wrong time though.
I read that Marshmallow handles permissions differently, so I wonder if it has to do with my third-party launcher. Though it seems strange that I was able to (until today) use my phone just fine between crashes for several days after the update.

Then i installed Pure Nexus rom and it was working fine. Then i installed Elemental X kernal, didn't change anything from stock options other than double tap 2 wake, and it would stay forever in the boot animation. Not a boot loop, but the animation with the circles.
So i figured, i had a TWRP backup from before i rooted and all that and restored from that, still same never ending boot animation
EDIT::: I unchecked selinux enforcing but i still get the same issue. I noticed when trying to restore from recovery it would reboot when trying to flash the system, and that it would not be able to flash the system while trying to install pure nexus rom.
I need some expert help on loading the continued error I am receiving while loading the software to my 8350i. After going through the tutorial on crackberry.......everything appears to be loading just fine when this same error continues to display:
An error has occurred while updating your device's software.Device communications error encountered. [A:0x0000000F]
Please try the following:
- Disconnect your device and restart your computer.
- Restart the loading process.
How do I get past this and reload the software successfully??? I have desktop manager closed and am loading the correct software.
I encountered this problem a long time ago but it just recently became very disruptive.(first off, my phone is a BlackBerry Curve 8530)It appears that a bug causes the trackpad to stop scrolling past a particular area for whatever reason.Some time ago, I encountered this problem in my iheartradio app. I was unable to scroll through all of the genres to get to the one I wanted. I can't remember which, but for all intents and purposes, let's say there were 20 genres. I could scroll down through genres 1-15 but I could not scroll any further in order to get to 16-20. I never figured out why it did that, but the problem was "resolved" after I updated the app (because of the interface change). The problem went away becauses the list of genres were oriented in a very different manner.
Now, I have encountered this problem in the App World app.I was bored and started playing in App World and came across "iSpeech Translator" (which is No. 25 in the "Top Free" category). When it was installing, I hit the back button to go back to the "Top Free" list (did this cause the problem?) and now it appears that my phone became "stuck" at No. 25....in ALL categories. Top Free, Top Paid, New Arrivals, Top Rated....in all of them, I cannot scroll past the 25th app....and it is incredibly frustrating. I can only scroll from 1 to 25...and no further.I've tried reinstalling App World, downgrading App World, and pulling the battery but nothing has worked so far. I was unable to find a reference to my specific problem through Google so I'm not sure what to do.
I need help please! My curve won't load past the white loading blackberry screen. I downloaded an app from the app store and it crashed my phone. I called my carriers tech support but they are backed up and it might be a days before they can get back to me.

View 6 Replies View RelatedThis is my first Blackberry. It's a Curve 9320. I switched it on, and it comes up with Device Language Selection Screen with English (US) and a down arrow, and an OK box. Nothing I've tried gets me past this screen. I would prefer UK English, but either English would do if I could use the phone! The paperwork that came with the phone seems to assume you know how to use it. Searching the Blackberry site hasn't come up with anything useful.

I need to access my contacts but I guess when it hit the ground the face buttons got disconnected so I can't do anything at all. I'm due to get my new phone this tuesday and I have a couple hundred contacts, most are important. What should I do? I've tried syncing it and backing it up but that's only for the media card. I can't access the device memory to get into the contacts. I also have like a bajillion texts left unchecked.
View 5 Replies View RelatedWas in the process of restoring the phone to factory settings (was rooted), and something went wrong and now it won't even let me boot to recovery. The phone is only softbricked, however, because it I hold power+volume down x2 it allows me to enter the factory hard reset menu.
Unfortunately, the menu does nothing, because after choosing either option it goes straight to the "[#####] Fastboot mode started" message, each time with a different number next to it (in the brackets). I've googled for days, tried running adb from my computer but the computer doesn't see the phone, even with the latest drivers. LGFlashTool doesn't work because I can't get into recovery.
Pic (obvously) is the screen it always goes to. Low quality because of the iphone camera. I really love my G3 and don't want to have to go back to that

I've got a curve 8520 and earlier today it was playing up and so I decided to re-boot it by taking the battery out. It seemed normal and I'd left it for a while but when I came back to it, the re-boot hadn't gone past about 2/3 of the way. I've tried several different things, plugging it into the computer, and the wall, and also taken the battery out several more times and each time it still doesn't go past 2/3.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy phone started restarting automatically after i put thesim cards for my first use, it was restarting for more than 10 times without shutting off. My battery percentage was 28%. I thought it is a charging issue so i charged it until the 100%.
Today (the second day), my phone was very good for all the day until the battery reach the 27% and received a phone call, then the mobile started restarting immediately until i put it on charger.
The "no network" thing has been going on for a couple of months. I go out somewhere and go to make a call and it says no network is available. I see no bars, but am in a place that always has bars. So I have to turn the phone off and restart it, then I have bars. The phone IS set up to use my wifi at home, when available, but always switched seamlessly, and I never had any problems receiving calls when I go out, or this "no network available" thing.
Then recently, it's started hanging up all the time. I tap something and have to wait several seconds for a response, Very annoying. I updated the system several days ago, and it said there was an update available today, so I updated today, but still a problem.
A few days ago my phone just suddenly started pressing buttons on its own and ignoring my button presses. Turning off the screen and turning it back on again fixes it temporarily, but within just a few seconds it will often continue again.
Is this a virus? Or is my phone broken? Nothing happened to cause it to break.
I have a 8900 and it does not charge past 2 bars it shows it chargin but doesn't move past 2 bars I wiped hanheld deleted all apps and a tmobile rep had send me a "updated" O.S through email to reinstall which was the same sh*t I had by the way 4.6.1.231 and I did it and still won't charge past 2 bars anyone have this problem I was told it was a phone issue and not battery but I don't want to buy another battyer till I get a reasonable answer what you guys think anyone have this happen?

I have tried a battery pull, and plugged it into my computer both with and without the battery but the DM wont recognize the device. What (if anything) can I do???
