I've just got a 6303 and I want to insert words into text messages without having to turn off predictive text. My 6230i used to have an 'insert word' feature but I can't find it on this phone. Does anybody know or should I just ask the Nokia chaps?

It happens almost daily and I have to restart the phone. Any ideas on why this might be happening and how to make it go away would be extremely helpful!
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have been using PC Sync for a long while now, and had no problems so far But since about two weeks ago, the entries that have been entered / modified in Microsoft Outlook, are not synced into my phone at all. PC Sync tells a warning message about these events and contacts, says it could not insert entries into the mobile phone. All the entries that have been entered / changed on my phone, are succesfully synced into my Outlook. I did not change / install anything so I do not know why did this issue started about two weeks ago.

Every time I try and send a message to somebody it will send, but then ill have to delete the word 'Adam' which seems to automatically paste into the message field? (Adam being my name) yet I still don't understand why it's doing this. I just want to stop it from happening...

When I try to forward a text message to more than 10 people by using the contacts menu to select the recipients, the message changes from text message to multimedia message.
Since, I do not have a subscription for multimedia messages with my service provider, the message remains in the outbox and never gets sent.
Can someone advice why the text message converts to multimedia message? How to prevent this from happening everytime I send/forward text message to more than 10 people from the contacts list?
I can not work out how to insert a template into a SMS message. I have templates marked for use in emails and sms,s and can insert when sending emails but not SMS messages. There seems to be no command to "insert template".New with the phone so perhaps a little extra description in fixing my problem would be appreciated.

I use Elm. While writing a text message, I often need to insert someone's number from contacts list. For this purpose, I should be able to look up contacts while writing a text message, and insert the required number in that message. I know many vendors do provide such mechanism. Is it not possible in case of SE?

So I went through and got rid of a heap of stuff - songs, videos the kinda things that are big files, and still no change.
My phone memory has 368kb free and my memory card has 3734 mb of free memory.Was working perfectly fine yesterday with more data and my phone stores about 1000 messages pretty easily, several videos, songs etc..
Swype used to work fine for me, but for the last month or so it does not work at all.I repeatedly get a pop up saying I have to upgrade (at beta.swype), or that the screen size is not right.I install again and again but still it does not work.The trace line appears on the keyboard ok, but the finished word does not appear in the text box. After finishing the word, both shift keys light up.All input modes are set to Swype, but it makes no difference.I should add that "normal" text input works ok on the Swype keyboard.

I have 50 or so saved text messages on my phone that I suddenly need to get printed out to give to a conflict resolution specialist in 14 hours- who knew this would happen?I can't seem to find a way to do this other than to individually send them to my email- one at a time.There's no way I have the time or the sanity to do it this way and I'm thinking that there MUST be a faster, easier way to do this.Any suggestions?

Even though I have deleted the text message and I've tried everything to try and get it to go away. Today I have a Blackberry Messenger Message that won't delete as well. Does anyone else have this problem and figure out a way to refresh and get ride of it? I've tried turning the device on and off a few times but doesn't fix the issue.

I'm using an Xperia Pro running the latest 2.3.4 release (4.0.2.A.0.58) and have two problems with the user dictionary for text-input. I notice that if I manually add words to the user dictionary (through the settings menu -> Language & keyboard -> User dictionary -> add), then these words do not appear in the as word suggestions when I am typing. I have my setting set to the default of "substitute letters only" for the slide-out and "automatically correct words" for the on-screen keyboard. Secondly, the automatic word suggestion feature often repeatedly suggests old spelling mistakes to me which is quite annoying. I would like a feature where I can also view, edit and delete words which have been automatically added to the automatic dictionary.
