BB Pearl 8100 :: Saved Text Messages On Phone To Word Doc On PC
May 11, 2010
I have 50 or so saved text messages on my phone that I suddenly need to get printed out to give to a conflict resolution specialist in 14 hours- who knew this would happen?I can't seem to find a way to do this other than to individually send them to my email- one at a time. There's no way I have the time or the sanity to do it this way and I'm thinking that there MUST be a faster, easier way to do this.Any suggestions?

I have an 8100 series T-Mobile Blackberry. It went swimming a couple of months ago, but after drying the phone out in a bag of rice for 2 days, it started working again. After that, I began having intermittent problems with the backlight...sometimes it would grow very dim to the point that it would be difficult to read the screen, other times it wouldn't work at all even though the phone was powered up. Eventually it stopped working completely and I got a new 8520 from T-Mobile which works great. However, I desperately need to retrieve some old text messages that are stored on the 8100. They are going to be used in a legal case (if I can get to them) and I need to get them quickly if possible. Is there a way to do this?
I"m trying to get video converted correctly on my Black Berry flip phone, but I can't seem to figure out how to convert the video with the Roxio Media manager so that the video is saved sideways.. So when I play it in my Black Berry Flip it fills up the whole screen.
Basically, i found a BlackBerry Pearl 8100 O2 on the street yesterday. I know this might upset some people, but im going to keep it. Because i need a new phone! Now how should i go on about this? will it work with just inserting my SIM ?
Can anyone tell me if the Blackberry Desktop 6.0 properly supports synchronization between Outlook 2010 32-bit and a Pearl 8100 with device software v4.5.0.102 (Platform 2.7.0.85)?I first did a one-way sync from Outlook to my device (replacing all device data). That worked fine. However, using Calendar as an example, the next sync tried to delete all calendar entries from some point in 2009 and prior. It also identified changes to entries that were not changed at all!Sync'ing Task, Memos and Contacts yielded the same problem where items were identified as being changed when they were not. When trying different sequences of synchronization including doing a reset on my Pearl before resync'ing, I get different and inconsistent results. The Blackberry site says I have the latest version of device software, so...
I have messages that i am sending and recieving but once i come to school, they all delete for some reason. Once they are all deleted, i send acouple of message but when i check my message log, they are deleted again when i check. I know its not that my memory is full. I just got the phone and i dont have many files so thats not the case. Ive seen one come in because i was staring at my phone and saw i recieved a message butt right away it got deleted along with the messages i had there. i dont no if everytime i roam for a bit they delete or what but it is very strange to me.
I have a Blackberry Pearl 8100, it's started erasing my messages and call logs. When it starts doing it, it will delete messages before I even have a chance to recieve them, or read them. It will also freeze up while loading some applications.I've checked my memory and it says I have 11379836 bytes free. I have a memory card so the only things saved on the phone are the defaults and one picture. The only way to fix the messages thing is to take the battery out for a few minutes but it ends up doing it four or five times within a day.
I really new help with my blackberry perl 8100 series!! My phone is through cingular and my serves is through t-mobile. So I am all new to this whole adding and updating thing ect...yes this is also my first time owning a blck berry phone!
How do i transfer messages (such as a text conversation that i have had) from my phone to my computer (So that i can store it on my computer as well as view the texts later on my computer)?
How do I update my software directly on my phone? I have version 4.3 and I am finding that it is not updated enough for many applications. I have gone to Blackberry.com on my phone and followed the prompts to update directly on my phone. However, it tells me to go to "Options", "Advanced Options" and then "Wireless Upgrade." I don't have the "Wireless Upgrade." What do I do?
I own a blackberry pearl 8130 and recently saw a new icon appear at the top right hand side of my screen. When placing calls, the icon appears. It looks like a rectangle with a line of plus signs going through it diagonally from top left to lower right. That breaks the rectangle up into 2 triangles. One of them is dark blue and the other is black. Has anyone seen this before? The only thing that I have noticed since the icon began to appear is that my alarm no longer works. The volume works for everything else and I can set my alarm. It just never makes a sound when it's supposed to go off. I've already checked to make sure that I've marked AM or PM and I checked to see if it is on tone, so that's not the problem.
Pearl Flip 8230 on Bell Mobility v4.6.1.182 (Platform 3.3.0.64) Forgive me if I'm omitting any other needed information.Every so often the voice dialing app will come on by itself, prompting me to say a command. (On a side note, it never actually accepts any of my commands ever. But that's not my issue right now.)Even after I close it, a few seconds later it will pop up again on its own.I thought maybe it was a stuck side key, but I disabled it, assigning it to nothing. The phone becomes muted as a result of the above. I cannot hear the DTMF beeps when dialing, I cannot hear the ringing, I cannot hear the other person, and the other person cannot hear me.Needless to say this has made using my phone pretty much impossible.
I just got my hands on an old Blackberry 8100 (OS4.2.1.96)Sadly, I'm almost certain that this phone won't be able to run 5, but while I was in high school this was my favorite phone and I recently just received one..for free. The phone's trackball doesnt work(clicking the trackball scrolls up), and the volume up doesn't work either. I'm not really going to use the phone as cellular device, but I would rather just have it on my desk as a souvenir...in working condition as a backup. So I've decided to buy a new housing for it, probably fixing the trackball problem, and then this is where I'm not sure. Would the new housing fix the volume bar problem also? Or would I have to actual replace parts on the phone?
I am having a problem to upgrade the device software of my daughter Pearl 8100 from v4.2 to 4.5. The BB update web site does not recognize that is a new version of the device software available.
I have a yellow phone icon with an arrow pointing right on my homescreen. The icon does not appear as a notification. I would like to get rid of this. This is my homescreen, the icon is in the top-left corner
I've just got my first i-phone but am using my old sim. I've imported all my contacts to the i-phone but can I import saved text messages from the sim? And what about photos that were on my old phone (ie on the sim)?
My Blackberry torch automatically deletes saved text messages. When I go to my saved messages folder most or all of them will be gone. I've noticed that when it begins to delete old messages it turns them green so I can not read them again and old messages that I have saved also turn green and are automatically deleted. This is a highly disappointing weakness of the torch and as I am new to Blackberry I thought saving text messages would be an easy and basic task to do. I have never had this problem with any other make of phone. Other than this problem I have only had a few glitches and like the phone but I would not recommend it.
I have text messages stored on the iphone. Does anybody know how to copy text messages and then send them to the iMac, so that the text message can be used in another format, such as Pages or another word type document ? ...OR ... is there a method for copying text messages and pasting them to another format so that all the data is retrieved ? ie : such as sender, body of message, recipient, date, time, etc ..
Is it possible to transfer my saved messages from the "Saved Messages" folder to a memory sd card? Im thinking about upgrading my phone but have alot of saved important messages I dont want to loose.
