when I press my email icon on my Torch9800, it automatically goes to my text messages, it won't let me open my emails.

I got a BB Torch, i tried to set up the email by following the demo online, but there is no personal email setting on there just work email, and i tried to set up my email as enterprise account, it showed activation request failed.

Lumia Icon :: Email Sync Not Working

I've got my company (exchange) email set to sync every 15 minutes. It only does so occasionally. Last night it didn't sync for 6 hours, this morning it was 51 minutes. It didn't always work when I had it set on "as items arrive" either. My Live and Gmail accounts seem to work just fine on the 15 minute setting.

1. images are not automatically appearing (need to click get images)
2. the HTML emails are appearing too wide. I have to scroll to the right to see the other half of the email.

Although my BlackBerry service with O2 is connected and working as normal, I am totally without email on my Torch 9800. I have owned the Torch 9800 since March.All has been well until last week when I changed the password on one of the 3 email accounts I had set up on my device. This password change left one of the accounts unable to send or receive mail, and is also what lead me to discover that I could not enter email set up on my device or via my network providers website ( www.o2email.co.uk ) .I have spent hours on the phone with O2 discussing this issue. The usual checks and procedures have been carried out, battery pulls, checking settings etc and the service books have been deleted and resent several times. These actions have not resolved the problem but instead led to the loss from my device of the other 2 email accounts which were working correctly but have now disappeared into thin air. Having tried all possible solutions with O2 I now come here looking for an answer.

When I visit my Network Providers BlackBerry mail service trying to create an account using my pin etc, I am without fail getting a pop up box containing the error message ''Your account is not accessible via HTML browser. Please use your devive to access BlackBerry Internet Service'' !? The result is the same whether I log in from my device over 3G or Wireless, or from a PC (have tried several browsers) .On my device, when I click on the Email Accounts icon from the setup menu nothing happens, no response at all. I have tried many times and there is just no way to set up or edit mail accounts. I am without mail on my device and growing increasingly short of patience.

I am now hoping somebody here can offer me some advice on how to resolve this issue. hat use is a BlackBerry without email capabilities ? I see from researching email set up problems on the Torch 9800 that I am not alone here so if somebody at BlackBerry is listening ? If this is a Torch 9800 issue then I am sure you will be doing all you can to resolve this but in the meantime

my wife's brand new 9810 to access a pop/imap account on a server where SSL/TLS is mandatory.

Background -- I'm the server admin. I can access e-mail on the same server/domain from my 9700 Bold running OS 6 - I can do SSL/TLS connections to e-mail just fine.

When I look at the server-side logs when the 9810 is attempting to connect, I see that the SSL/TLS session is not getting established - hence the username/password is never being sent to the server.

The 9810 is running OS 7.1.x - is this version of the OS buggy?

I have a Torch 9800 with OS 6. I have noticed that my phone is not getting any of the emails from my five email accounts. I went through deleted them all and readded them and it was telling me there was a problem connecting to the server. I have plugged my phone in and made sure everything is up to date, pulled the battery and resent the regestured with my wireless network.

After updating the software on my 9800 I haven't been able to set up my email account again, every time I try it freezes up for a while and then I get a message saying "Unable to open email set-up application. Contact your wireless service provider." I never had this problem before I updated the software, I used to receive my emails to my BB.

Then it goes straight into "Enterprise Activation" , after watching the demo video on this there should be an option to choose Internet accounts, but this step is getting skipped with no way to go back.

I have a Blackberry Torch 9800 and my OS is V6.0.0.723. My carrier is AT&T.I am having issues trying to send a TEXT MESSAGE to an EMAIL address. I do not have a data plan.I have a friend that sends me emails from his PC to my CellNumber@txt.att.net and I received them as TEXT MESSAGES. I then reply to that same TEXT MESSAGE and he receives it in his email on his PC.But when I try to send (not just reply) a new TEXT MESSAGE to his EMAIL address, it fails. I get a little red clock for a while, then nothing.I have spoke to AT&T and they say it should work.My friend is also on AT&T, and he too does not have a data plan, and he sends TEXTS to his EMAIL address all the time without challenge. He does not have a Blackberry.

I think this subject has been talked about before, but I can't find anywhere that has a successful result to my "problem". My email has been working fine, then nothing. I've got an Aol account for my email but they are not getting sent to my BB Torch anymore. I get the message "Your device had a problem connecting to the server" when I try to access the email account in Setup. I've tried: Taking the battery out ... Waiting.... Taking the battery and sim card out... Waiting... Hitting my head against a brick wall (only joking, but that will happen soon if I don't get this fixed) Deleting the CMIME, for the email account I'm using, out of the service book?
