View 1 Replies View RelatedI am running windows 7 and no noise nor does my device manager detect my phone when connnect. Neither does the Blackbery device software. All are up to date. I am at a loss. I am not using a hub and i have tried several usb ports on my laptop now. Nothing.
I have downloaded the desktop software for BB twice and reinstalled. No luck. I am unable to find where to enable mass storage under options. There is only a option for media card but nothing regarding Mass Storage.
My Issue is as the above subject header reads. Also, the BB Knowledge Base Article KB23925 says its aware of this problem, however, has no time frame for resolution.Ok guys can we hurry up! Its rendering my ability to use this device dramatically as I am a exclusive Mac User. I have to keep another phone with me to reference #'s and email addresses!Does anyone have a suggestion(s), besides buy an iPhone? )

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhenever I receive a text message from a sender like American Airlines where their name/number is a random set of numbers, it will not remove itself from the home page list even if I delete it. If I select it after I have deleted it, it's just a blank message. Any ideas as to how to resolve this? The only thing that has worked for me so far is to reset the phone. I don't want to have to do that each time a message of this type comes in to my inbox.

This is a ridiculous problem that should of been fix before bringing the phone out! same thing for the 5 - 10 sec freeze after you enter your security password to unlock the phone! View 4 Replies View RelatedI have an Sprint iPhone 4 and a Macbook. I use a USB to Sync, charge and backup my phone. If I close the lid to my computer while the phone is plugged in to the USB port it locks up my computer. The screen goes black but I can sort of see stuff behind the black screen. I press the power button to turn it off but nothing happens (maybe I have not waited long enough) so I end up taking the battery out, pressing the power button, putting the battery back in and then powering my computer back on.
This just started happening about 2 weeks ago and nothing has changed with my phone or my computer. There is a guy on another message board who just started having the same problem. He has an iPhone 4S, Sprint, a Macbook pro but he has Snow Leopard and I am still using Leopard.

I used to be able to sync all my contacts with my 9700 bold, but now since I received the torch, it is giving me an error saying I should look at the desktop manager information. with a # that says KB14545 error or whatever. What should I do to sync my contacts. p.s. Google sync sucks, it re-duplicated my contacts making me have 1400 contacts when I only have 170.
View 14 Replies View RelatedI am using the "All" menu on my torch as my main menu. I have it set up similarly to my old Bold 9700. I use that for everything except Media, where I do use the "Media" menu page. However, that left me with little use for the "Favorites" menu page. So I decided to delete everything there and load it up with my most often used contacts.
When you highlight a contact on the contact list, your Blackberry Key menu has an option "Add to Home Screen." That opens a window where you can choose a location and mark it as a favorite. If you leave the default location of "home" the contact will appear on both the home and favorites menu, which I did not want. Since I already had created a "Junk" folder, I simply move the contact to that folder and mark as a favorite at the same time. Now My "Favorites" menu is populated ONLY with many of my most used contacts. And when they appear on a menu page, you can tap/hold the contact icon to get several options such as call, pin, text, email, etc...
How do I transfer all of my contacts all at once from my old sim card to my a new sim card?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently lost all my contacts , how? I dont know but ive managed to put them on from another sim but I wanted to transfer them to my usual sim in case I lose them again
View 4 Replies View RelatedI tried doing this using the SIM, but found that this only carreid over the first phone number and no extra numbers or email addresses. So then I exported from the LG to my desktop [using a USB connection] and then tried importing this file, but the 9800 didn't like it at all.
So then I swapped the SIM to the 9800 and used the Blackberry Desktop Manager to export an ascii file to my desktop computer. This gave me a file with """" a million quotation marks in it which made it way too hard to edit and add numbers etc to it. So I imported this to an XL file [using the header labels from the 9800] and edited my info. When I tried to import this to the Blackberry, it recognised the file OK, but wouldn't transfer the info across. So I then saved the XL file as a csv but this didn't work either.
