i had a torch 9810 previously and it was stolen so i bought a new torch 2 but this time it was having some american company's symbol on it. I upgraded it to the next firmware and downloaded blackberry protect but the problem is my phone isn't being displayed on the blackberry protect website even after 10 backups.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am having an issue with the battery discharging when the phone is turned off. I have a 9810 Torch which is ~6 months old. I thought I had a battery issue so I replaced the battery. The phone acts exactly the same. I turn everything off at 7pm in the evening with almost a full charge, when I turn it on at 5am the following the battery is discharged down to the 15% level. Nothing is running while the phone is sitting overnight?

1. i noticed that for some contacts that have 4 phone numbers and 2 emails, the phone numbers are all jamed together in one line, rather than listing them one by one. any idea how to fix it? by the way, the contacts are maitained in my google mail/contacts already.
2. how to add a voice tag to a name/contact? i found my atrix had hard time recognizing a name and always messed it up with other contacts. so i want to find a way to make it easier for the phone to recognize it when i say "Call xxx" (some especially for some non english names).
I have a torch 9800 and Curve 8900 and over time I have created backups on my PC. I now need to give the PC back and am unable to remove the backups.
When I try and delete the .ipd files it says "you need permission of administrator to make these changes." I am using Windows 7 and to my knowledge have full administration.
I am unable to sync Phone Contacts with Sony Ericsson website (but the Calendar and Bookmarks are syncing).
View 4 Replies View Relatedopying contacts from a Bold 9810 to another 9810.Using the BB Desktop Software I did a full backup of the device (which contained 400+ contacts), then did a full restore on a new 9810, but only 200 contacts were copied over.Next I tried to do a selective restore, but although the 400+ contacts were in the file, it was grayed out and could not be selected. How can I get all the contacts into the new 9810. (Side note: I was able to restore the 400+ contacts to a BB Bold).

I didn't want to use the DM "Switch Devices" utility because I don't want everything copied over including the settings.The pictures and contacts were easy as I just switched SD cards.Ringtones and pictures I transferred over by plugging in the phones up and used Windows to simply drag the files over.My problem is the memo pad info.
