I have a torch 9800 and Curve 8900 and over time I have created backups on my PC. I now need to give the PC back and am unable to remove the backups.
When I try and delete the .ipd files it says "you need permission of administrator to make these changes." I am using Windows 7 and to my knowledge have full administration.
i had a torch 9810 previously and it was stolen so i bought a new torch 2 but this time it was having some american company's symbol on it. I upgraded it to the next firmware and downloaded blackberry protect but the problem is my phone isn't being displayed on the blackberry protect website even after 10 backups.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a BB Torch. When a message comes in on my phone, it is displayed at the center beneath the clock. I click to open. Then just below where the box shows there a new message that had just come in, a "text message box appears". Now, then the message would be opened on clicking. It will then disappears to the inbox once read. If I go click "Text Messages", I will find that message in the inbox which is fine. I can therefore delete any message in the inbox.
The Problem Some of the messages will not be diverted into the inbox for some reasons I don't seem to gather. These though, when opened, will just show a symbol (smiley, etc.) but without any text. The symbol will appear at the extreme right.
I'd like to know If I can retrieve my bb account after deleting it. And if I can't, how to register for a know one on my bb device.

I now have 300+ random email addresses in my contacts list that I cant seem to get rid of. I had a look on desktop manager and all i could do was delete all -therefore including the numbers in my contact list too...obviously i don't want to do this....just want to get rid of all of these email addresses!
