Is there a lost phone app / tool / website for the Droid X like Apple's MobileMe or [URL]
Basically, if I lost my Droid X, which happens to be my work phone, what can I use to locate it?
I removed (maybe deleted?) my Command center. Want it back but can't seem to find it in apps or widgets of the play store.
View 11 Replies View RelatedCould anyone tell me if they are getting the same.I have lost all my history on the portal apart from my first upload - yet I have 6 workouts on my motoactv !I try reconnect the device via my WiFi network then by plugging in the USB cable and selecting sync on the device each time, but it does not see any new (which are old) workouts. Back the the trusted device until then!

View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently heard some word about the website www.androlib.com. The site was explained to me as being a well structured compendium of applications, tips and tricks. When I attempted to log onto this site, I was greeted with a white screen, with the letters DTC in the top left corner. When I try to click on anything, a popup displays, and request the Read phone state be changed in my manifest folder.I vaguely recall from my coding days that the authorization the site is requesting, is a read only access, but I usually am aprehensive about such things, so I bailed on the site, and thought about it a bit. Now my question is, are the access files open for the taking? Since this is the first time I have encountered this on a phone, I am a bit taken back

I Lost my phone yesterday I tracked it through the find my iphone app. It pops up but says offline. phone is still receiving calls it rings 4 times then goes to voicemail, so I know its on.

Every time I got myself a new Samsung handset I register it with a hope that I will track it down. And now my phone lost and disappeared from Samsung find my mobile both my s5 and s6. Is that a sign that are being used even though I blacklisted them. How secure is find my mobile website, because even if they requested password change I would have received sms notification from my mail to go through my Samsung account.

So now when I try to start the phone it goes to a BitLocker screen and won't go past. I saw online that I should be able to use the Windows Device Recovery Tool to fix this but I get a message saying the package isn't available yet for it.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThis is strange. I'm running the latest Technical Preview of W10M on my Lumia 1520, and have decided I want to revert to WP8.1.
I believe the way to do this is to use the Windows Device Recovery Tool, currently at V3.1.5.
The WDRT installs just fine. When I run it and plug in my phone, it correctly identifies it as a Lumia 1520, and my phone correctly asks permission to let its USB port be used (which I OK, of course).
WDRT says "Please select device to continue" and I click on the picture of the Lumia 1520. At that point it goes to the "Reading device information" page and just sits there forever, showing the spinning circle and "Please wait".
I sold my Droid at an online site. I haven't used it in several months. I went to delete my info before packing it up ...and can't remember my password. How do I (a) recover/reset my pass, or (b) wipe the info by pulling the battery, etc, so I don't have to login?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI can't find some pictures or a video that I took on my DROID3. I'm not sure if I had them stored on the SD card or internal storage. There is one picture contained in the internal memeory that I took when I first got the phone and before I put the SD card in it. The SD card is from my old Blackberry. It takes and stores new pictures just fine. The pictures and video are from about 2 weeks ago. I did find a thumbnail that looks like it might be from the video and I set one of the pictures aas my wallpaper. It displays fine as a wallpaper but for some reason it can't find that actual picture.
View 3 Replies View RelatedSince the update I keep getting this notice that pops up saying my location can't be found. This is happening on a variety of apps from texting (GO) to just playing games. I have searched thru every app and nothing seems to be location based. My GPS is off and I don't use any social media apps needing location and location is also turned off on my camera. Any ideas on how to get rid of this?
Otherwise the update has made my phone a bit faster, the camera focus now works great but I am still dropping a data connection tho not constantly. My connection is alot stronger and I can at least pull 3 blue bars of 3G. I am not really happy that I am still dropping a connection. I can drop to zero bars while sitting in the same spot. It comes back faster but my phone had degraded to not being able to get back the connection for at least 5 minutes (airplane mode, shutting phone off, pulling battery).
here do you find the build date in the D3?I was sure i saw it in the settings menu however i checked there the other day and not there so i cannot remeber if i did see it there or not does anyone know of a way to gete this information

View 9 Replies View RelatedThe bottom bar (Start Bar, Tool Bar, whatever it's called) continues to cause problems for me while typing. The keyboard comes up, and when I hit bottom-row keys often times my finger will either hit, or register as hitting, the Start Bar. Mid-sentence I often find myself looking at my Home screen, or I'm suddenly in another app.
Is there a setting somewhere such that when the keyboar pops up it will cover the Start Bar? I just got my Xoom and love it apart from this.
I use Droid 3 in Australia. My droid is only 6 months old, was working fine on 3G until recently.know if there is a setting to check whether 3G would be turned off. I checked that Data was enabled and it is.

View 6 Replies View RelatedMy SD card recently fail so I lost all my photos and music. I only had a couple of pictures but there was 1 that I really wanted to keep. I just installed my new SD card.
What I am hoping to find out is that the picture I wanted the most is still showing on the Photo Gallery start page/ Desk Top, or what ever it is called on a phone. Where is this image coming from and can I save it back to my gallery?
after a year (or more) without a lot of my thumbnails, I finally figured out how to restore them.I'm not sure when, or how they got corrupted, but for the longest time, I haven't had all my thumbnails working on my phone. They would regenerate (slowly) at runtime, which made browsing painful at best.Searching online gave me mixed results of things that didn't work.Finally, this seemed to work for me:At your home screen, press the options menu button then press "Manage Apps" Then select "All" Scroll down to "Media Storage" and select it Click "Clear Data" I then went into "Gallery" app, which showed NO photos, and NO albums! OUCH! Don't worry, we're not done.I then took one photo with my camera (I'm not sure if this step is needed).Exit the camera and enter the Gallery again. You will see your new photo.Wait a while, your gallery will be rebuilt and all thumbnails are regenerated... it took a few minutes for me.NOTE This procedure will delete any saved albums that you have created. It won't delete the pictures (They will all be there in the "All Photos" and "All Videos" albums, but you will have to recreate any separate albums that you had previously.I can now browse my photos and videos again without having to wait for my thumbnails to be regenerated at run time!After they were all regenerated, I rebooted my phone to be sure they were still there, they were!Now if I could just make up my mind between upgrading to the Razr Maxxx HD, or the S G S3! Tough choice for me, I keep waffling back and forth! ;)
