View 7 RepliesI tried following the instructions from 2014 posted online but my app doesn't have the same settings. I am just using the video player that came standard with the camera app. Is this the standard samsung video app? There is no settings option or capture option. Video editor doesn't take screenshots either.

I upgraded it to the next firmware and downloaded blackberry protect but the problem is my phone isn't being displayed on the blackberry protect website even after 10 backups.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a vx8700 and i've tried to get bitpim to see the phone.Previously a couple of years ago before I reimaged my machine I had this working. I was able to access the file system and change my ringtone and what not. Now I can't get it to work.So I've tried to use the blue tooth method but when I move the vcf files over it gives me the finger saying the file is invalid...which it shouldn't be as i works fine on the shine. So anyways - whats the best way to move this information over from the old phone to the new one?

View 6 Replies View RelatedFirst the boring backstory:
It's been so long since I have played with an iPhone as i have lost some interest in it. But now my father who owned a 3gs, which I had jailbroken when it still had 3.1.2 but the 3.1.3 was the official OS out at the moment, has bought the iphone 4. He is giving his 3gs to my sister now who wants a clean install of it.
My nooby question:
She does not care for the 4.0 iOS, so I will not need to give her that. I also know that the 3.1.2 was an awesome version for the 3gs that it did not need to be a tethered jailbreak. So, how do I go about restoring the 3gs with the 3.1.3 SHSH on file since its the only one I can do? And how is the jailbreak for it when I do restore it to 3.1.3?
Yesterday, I picked up a new iPhone 4. I went to work, downloaded 4.0.1, downgraded the phone successfully, and jailbroke it. I hit the "Make it Easy" button and figured that when I got home I'd capture the SHSH files using Umbrella.By the time I got home, Apple had stopped signing 4.0.1 - I must have squeaked by just in time. Cydia still says, "Pending TSS request", but I think that means that Cydia didn't get it in time.Is there any possible way to get the blobs off of the PC at work? I know that itunes deleted them as soon as it was done with them, but has anyone ever recoverd them before? I hadn't done much with the PC the rest of the day, so there's a pretty good chance that they haven't been overwritten yet.

View 7 Replies View RelatedIs it possible to restore from more than one backup? Basically, I want all the info from my 2 previous iPhones (3G & 3GS) onto my current one (4S). They are all backed up and I can see the backups if I click on "restore from backup". I'm just not sure if it's possible to get all the info from those backups + my current one onto my 4S phone.

I bought the iPhone 4S the other day, but my mother had already the iPhone 4. When I connected my new iPhone 4S to the computer, I restored it from my mother's iTunes backup. After that, as I didn't wanted to have her contacts, I deleted them all. Some moments later she told me she had no contacts anymore, too. Then I realized my fatal error, as we both had our iPhones in the same iCloud account I had deleted all contacts in her phone too.
To solve this problem I restored her iPhone 4 in my computer, but then again something went wrong. Her iPhone was restored with a very old backup, so she was missing some new contacts and photos.
I was thinking about restoring her iPhone from an old iCloud backup (one from one week ago) so she can have her phone like it was before I did all this mess (that was about three days ago), but when I try to do that from her iPhone I can only see the last 5 backups that are from yesterday or two days before, but I need an OLDER backup. how to restore an iPhone from an older iCloud backup?

I'm one of those people who forgot the password for their encyrpted iphone backups ... BUT luckily I found that out BEFORE I had the actual need to restore my iPhone from said backups.
Now I'd like to start a new set of backups from my phone, this time WITHOUT the encryption so I won't run into any troubles when I actually need them.
Howevery, even after deleting all old backups in iTunes I still can't uncheck the "encrypt backup" box. Is there any way of getting a fresh start on backups?

I just bought a 4S today. I have already backed up my 3GS to iCloud - I can see the backup in the iCloud setting of both my 3GS and iPad 3. However, when I choose to restore from an iCloud backup on my 4S (fresh out of the box), it tells me no backups are available?

I have had to replace my iPhone 4S twice this week (long story). I made sure in both cases that I was backed up to iCloud before I replaced the phone. I triple checked to make sure the last back up date/time, backed up again and can see the backups when I login to iCloud online, but when I try to restore from back up it has told me BOTH times that no iCloud backup is available?

here they are saying that there are two different itunes 9.1.1 a 11 and 12. apparently the 12 doesn't have problems with back up.o and if it loads weird just hit the translate button again to fix it.
