My blackberry storm dropped and the screen stopped working so i bought a new one. Can i transfer bbm contacts from the old one to the new one although i cannot see anything on the screen?
View 2 RepliesMy Blackberry Storm 9530 was dropped and suddenly stopped working. There is no damage to the phone or to the screen. Everything looks perfect. But when I turn it on, red light flashes for few seconds. It flashes for about 15 seconds then goes black. The four buttons on the bottom light up for few seconds.I tried Application Loader Wizard but there were no applications to be downloaded.But when I connect it to Blackberry Desktop Manager, the LCD comes back showing the signal of empty Battery. Replaced the battery but it is still working.
View 1 Replies View Relatedso i dropped my iphone 4s flat on the back a few feet from the ground. so worst case should be the back is shattered. the back is shattered the front is flawless but the screen wont work. I tried a soft restart and putting it in dfu mode. nothing worked. I tried hitting it on the back to see if something jusyt got out of place but nope. When i plug my phone into my computer it senses it and syncs it but my phone keeps vibrating like it can only charge for a few seconds. W hat should i do i would rather not take it to apple and pay half the price of the phone to get it fixed. I took the back faceplate off and everything looked fine. The screen is just messed up.

My browser and email stopped working about 3 days ago and I spent almost a whole day on the phone with support, no help. They had me do everything including delete all my service books and now there is nothing in the host routing table. They finally said, we cant help. My phone is stuck on lower case edge and I cant get data.

I am referring to the method of tapping the power button on the top left to add and remove the lock.The power button still works to turn the phone on etc, but just wont lock the screen. As you can imagine this makes life very difficult with a touch screen phone.

First it wouldn't recognize when I remove/insert earphones and would permanently think earphones were in, so couldn't make calls etc because I wouldn't be able to hear anything. Now the screen seems to have stopped working. I get lights on the keypad and can connect it to my pc but can see nothing on the screen, is completely blank. I noticed just before this happened it would seem to struggle to come off screen saver when I unlocked the keypad i.e. would take a long time and the screen would look messed up for a few seconds before coming round. I'm also pretty sure i've noticed a red light flash where the flash is once or twice since its stopped working.
I tried updating firmware to sort the earphone problem and the screen has died since then. Tried hard resetting to to avail. Have only got this phone relatively recently to replace another nokia that failed... really not happy about this...
The screen on my samsung s6 has for no reason just stoped working. Ive tried turning it on and off but nothing happens although the blue light is still flashing constantly.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an X8 that was repaired a few months ago due to a cracked screen.Yesterday the touch screen stopped working, the screen still displays everything it should and the menu, camera, lock and volume buttons work fine, but touching the screen does nothing which makes doing anything with the phone impossible.I've switched it on and off many times, including holding the power button until I get 3 vibrations and no luck. I've fully charged the phone and tested it whilst it's charging.I don't think there's been any damage, but it could have taken a knock whilst being in my pocket.

So I've never dropped my s6 edge. It's only 20 days old in fact. However today all of a sudden the touch screen will not work. The two bottom buttons work as does the fingerprint work so I can unlock the phone and see the home screen but not do anything else. Typically if battery pull to fix something like this, however of course this is not possible on the s6.
So I've held the power button for 30 secs and it won't turn off cos it wants me too press the screen power off button, I've tried restarting it by booting it into download mode.
This morning I turned on my iPhone 4S and it logged in fine. I got a bunch of text messages because my chats were updating and all of a sudden it started to freeze. So I turned it off to 'sleep' and tried logging in again and it wont work now I went to turn it fully off but because the touch screen isn't working, I can't swipe the 'off' part of my phone. I've plugged it in, updated it, everything I could think of, and the touch screen still won't work. Or is it time for a new phone?

Is there any fix? I have both a e71 and a e72 (the e71 LCD screen stopped working, I ordered a LCD replacement and am yet to try it out). Is there anyway I can take the e72's innards and put it in the exterior of the e71?
Why does this happen? My firmware is updated (Ovi Suite says mine is the latest), I have tried soft rebooting, hard rebooting, factory reset, hard reset, whatever possible "standard" solutions. Is there any real solution at all? It's kind of annoying especially for fast typers!

Several times per day, my screen just stops working. The LCD portion of the screen still turns on and off, but it won't recognize any touches. The only way out is a soft reset, since I can't swipe down to turn the phone off, then it works again. I have the Windows 10 preview installed, if that matters.
I'm thinking that it's a hardware issue, but I'm not 100% on that, since a soft reset temporarily solves the problem.
I also tried a hard reset and that had me hopeful, because it worked most of the day, then the issue returned in the evening.
Siri has stopped working. The screen comes up but nothing works.

My BOLD 9780 stopped working and has a white screen. I tried he battery thing and also tried reentering the 6.0 opsys with the desktop Software. Phone shuts off ok and side buttons seem o work but no phone answering capabilities. Standard APS and all I use the phone for are phone calls and a few texts.
