The screen on my samsung s6 has for no reason just stoped working. Ive tried turning it on and off but nothing happens although the blue light is still flashing constantly.
View 11 RepliesSo I've never dropped my s6 edge. It's only 20 days old in fact. However today all of a sudden the touch screen will not work. The two bottom buttons work as does the fingerprint work so I can unlock the phone and see the home screen but not do anything else. Typically if battery pull to fix something like this, however of course this is not possible on the s6.
So I've held the power button for 30 secs and it won't turn off cos it wants me too press the screen power off button, I've tried restarting it by booting it into download mode.
Screen capture has stopped working on my sg2,if I hit home and power the task manager pops up?I did download Go sms pro but their screencapture would only work on their pages??and the original screencapture ceased working;I've removed Go sms pro in case that was causing an issues but as I said the screencapture is still not working>

View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought my Galaxy S6 yesterday and when I try to launch the Facebook app, it closes and there is a message saying "Unfortunately, Facebook has stopped.". I can log into my account but I cannot use it. I've seen many people complaining about this same error with other apps, but I couldn't solve my problem. I've already tried to uninstall it, to clear cache and data but nothing seems to work. The app doesn't open even on safe mode.

I am pretty IT savvy so I googled the heck out of the issue. Here are the things I have tried. I started by going into Settings > Storage > Applications and cleared Data/Cache of several contacts related apps.I disabled the Google + app completely.I disabled all contacts syncing of all accounts and re-enabled.I made sure all apps are fully updated, even though when the problem first started all apps were out of date. Additionally, firmware is fully updated.Finally, I held volume up, power, and home button and wiped android cache partition.
My E72 has started playing up recently. First it wouldn't recognize when I remove/insert earphones and would permanently think earphones were in, so couldn't make calls etc because I wouldn't be able to hear anything. Now the screen seems to have stopped working. I get lights on the keypad and can connect it to my pc but can see nothing on the screen, is completely blank. I noticed just before this happened it would seem to struggle to come off screen saver when I unlocked the keypad i.e. would take a long time and the screen would look messed up for a few seconds before coming round. I'm also pretty sure i've noticed a red light flash where the flash is once or twice since its stopped working.
I tried updating firmware to sort the earphone problem and the screen has died since then. Tried hard resetting to to avail. Have only got this phone relatively recently to replace another nokia that failed... really not happy about this...

When I go to gallery on a video and click the editor, i get an error "gallery has stopped working"When I go to settings>fingerprints, I get the following error "attention an error has occurred with the fingerprint sensor, if this message persists repeatedly, restart your device"...
This was working fine, and now all of a sudden, probably after an update, it stopped. I cannot get the phone to even begin a USB connection to my PC, only charges. I've tried fiddling with every setting imaginable. Incredible frustrating that the simplest things will not work on this phone.

I still get the notification in the top left hand corner that the message has been received, I still have sound with incoming ringtone and my alarm sound is still working.I went into settings - sound - volume and it looks good.I went into messages - settings - select ringtone and it looks good.i received a text message and had sound and then downloaded an application and the next text message I received the sound had gone. View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I woke up today my fingerprint scanner stopped working. It have done so before, but fixed itself. Today I have not been able to unlock phone once, if I don't delete current fingerprints and add a new. It then works for half an hour or so and then it can't recognize my finger anymore.
I have tried to wipe cache on Fingerprint scanner and wipe normal cache + Dalvik cache.
The a2dp stopped working on my S6. (G920F 5.1.1 unrooted) I can pair with devices (Speakers, etc) but if I go to their individual settings, the "Media Audio" is disabled. I can still connect to my car stereo and use the phone (the car stereo doesn't support a2dp).
I have done a factory reset 3 times, and the a2dp starts working again every time but after a while it stops. I have been careful in trying to identify what app triggers the a2dp to stop working but it doesn't seem to be related to installed apps.
I ve got an n97 and had a problem were couldnt turn it on went on the forum and said 2 reboot with the 4finger salute now it turns on but havent got no touch screen.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an X8 that was repaired a few months ago due to a cracked screen.Yesterday the touch screen stopped working, the screen still displays everything it should and the menu, camera, lock and volume buttons work fine, but touching the screen does nothing which makes doing anything with the phone impossible.I've switched it on and off many times, including holding the power button until I get 3 vibrations and no luck. I've fully charged the phone and tested it whilst it's charging.I don't think there's been any damage, but it could have taken a knock whilst being in my pocket.

so i dropped my iphone 4s flat on the back a few feet from the ground. so worst case should be the back is shattered. the back is shattered the front is flawless but the screen wont work. I tried a soft restart and putting it in dfu mode. nothing worked. I tried hitting it on the back to see if something jusyt got out of place but nope. When i plug my phone into my computer it senses it and syncs it but my phone keeps vibrating like it can only charge for a few seconds. W hat should i do i would rather not take it to apple and pay half the price of the phone to get it fixed. I took the back faceplate off and everything looked fine. The screen is just messed up.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThis morning I turned on my iPhone 4S and it logged in fine. I got a bunch of text messages because my chats were updating and all of a sudden it started to freeze. So I turned it off to 'sleep' and tried logging in again and it wont work now I went to turn it fully off but because the touch screen isn't working, I can't swipe the 'off' part of my phone. I've plugged it in, updated it, everything I could think of, and the touch screen still won't work. Or is it time for a new phone?

After the first day, the external speaker stopped working. I can hear sound via the earbuds, but it does not ring, nor have any audible notifications. Did hard reset, soft reset, several times, and still no sound. I have a replacement on order, but they won't have it to me for another week or more! Imagine having a phone that doesn't ring for over two weeks.

Yesterday was worse because I was texting someone and.. during that 20 minutes, it restarted itself 4 times! I did some experimenting these past few weeks, I switched my phone to safe mode for a day or so, and the problem never occured.. not even once! Back to the problem, I have a feeling it might be some of the apps I have (I dont have that much apps), I got rid all of my game apps but problem is still occuring.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a Galaxy S2 and about a week before my contract expired I bought the Galaxy, all was well and everything worked and I was getting all my emails (I am on Gmail) direct to my phone and could view them using the Gmail icon on the front of the Galaxy. A few days ago my contract expired and I am now SIM only and everything has gone downhill since, basically push email has stopped, I have rung my provider and it's obvious that they don't know what they are doing because I have received about four or five different bits of advice/guidance from them and none of the options work. The first option was to set up another email address using the email icon on the Galaxy, I did this (with the same Gmail address) and it does work...but it's intermittent (the social hub is now showing this email address).The problem with this method is that I am sure that the two emails are clashing and push Gmail is still not working although I can retrieve emails via the refresh button (in other words pull email). Another member of staff at my provider claimed that he was an Android expert and he said that any emails sent to my Gmail account should be received by the phone, he added that the SIM card is irrelevant and that I should not have to have extra email bundles etc (which is apparently what I have right now although I did not ask for them). I have checked the manage applications route and I can't select a default email, the box is greyed out so it appears that neither of my email facilities have been selected as a default...is there a way to select default email? I reckon that I should delete the additional email account and try and get the push Gmail account working again....as I said both the accounts have the same email address. In addition although I have synched my calender no dates are showing on my Google email account on my PC, the dates were showing last week but nothing now, I have not changed any of my settings on my phone and the PC since the SIM contract started, apart from setting up another email account. Lastly I can't see a way to back up my phone on Kies Air (via Wi-Fi)..

I go to App Drawer and tap Edit, but dragging an app over another does not give me a folder, it does nothing. Also, I cannot remove apps fom existing folders I created over the weekend. How to correct this?
