Wanted to create some folders in my App Drawer, I already have a couple, and it has stopped working. I go to App Drawer and tap Edit, but dragging an app over another does not give me a folder, it does nothing. Also, I cannot remove apps fom existing folders I created over the weekend. How to correct this?
View 2 RepliesI just got a S6 Edge. In the app drawer there are four folders (Google, Verizon, Samsung, Tools and Amazon) with apps in them. I would like to delete one of those folders and put the apps individually into the app drawer. It won't let me do this. I can move apps from the app drawer to the home pages but not the other way around. Is there a way to do this?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been really happy with the S6 and was able to customize most things that were bothering me, except this .In the app drawer, is there a way to change the way the navigation between pages work and make it like it was on the S5.On the S5, you could go to a specific page in one click on the bottom "bar", and you could hold you finger on it and slide to scroll quickly through pages.On the S6, none of those work, clicking a specific page in that bottom bar just goes to the next (or previous) page.Now that Xposed works, is there something that can fix this?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI was able to do this in the Galaxy S4, but now it's gone. Since I did a restore of my previous phone's backup, all apps installed in a random order - and that's how my app list is now sorted.
How can I sort that alphabetically? I can live with manual sort (I've seen people speaking of the "A-Z" button in the app drawer, but I don't have it), automatic would be better.
I have the AT&T 32GB variant.
I noticed that sometimes (actually, somewhat frequently) the animation to open the app drawer is a little choppy and laggy. And then the actual app drawer (swiping left and right) also has slightly choppy animation as it moves from each page of apps.
This goes away if you press home, and then return back to the app drawer.
I have s6 Edge. I cannot create folders in application menu. I know you are suppose to press 'EDIT' and then drag application to drop onto another one. For me selected application just goes back to its original location.

First, is there any way to sort the app drawer alphabetically? When I click on edit the only option I get is to disable or uninstall apps.
Secondly, I recently read a tip somewhere that said to reboot into safe mode and then restart to normal. This would improve battery life. Not sure if this is the cause but I did see an improvement after that. Anyway, I also noticed that apps in the app drawer are now scattered across 6 screens with some containing only 1 or 2 icons.
Is there a way to sort the view the app drawer in Alphabetical List view?

I can log into my account but I cannot use it. I've seen many people complaining about this same error with other apps, but I couldn't solve my problem. I am pretty IT savvy so I googled the heck out of the issue. Here are the things I have tried. I started by going into Settings > Storage > Applications and cleared Data/Cache of several contacts related apps.I disabled the Google + app completely.I disabled all contacts syncing of all accounts and re-enabled.I made sure all apps are fully updated, even though when the problem first started all apps were out of date. Additionally, firmware is fully updated.Finally, I held volume up, power, and home button and wiped android cache partition.

When I go to gallery on a video and click the editor, i get an error "gallery has stopped working"When I go to settings>fingerprints, I get the following error "attention an error has occurred with the fingerprint sensor, if this message persists repeatedly, restart your device"...
This was working fine, and now all of a sudden, probably after an update, it stopped. I cannot get the phone to even begin a USB connection to my PC, only charges. I've tried fiddling with every setting imaginable. Incredible frustrating that the simplest things will not work on this phone.

View 4 Replies View RelatedSo I've never dropped my s6 edge. It's only 20 days old in fact. However today all of a sudden the touch screen will not work. The two bottom buttons work as does the fingerprint work so I can unlock the phone and see the home screen but not do anything else. Typically if battery pull to fix something like this, however of course this is not possible on the s6.
So I've held the power button for 30 secs and it won't turn off cos it wants me too press the screen power off button, I've tried restarting it by booting it into download mode.
The screen of my Samsung S5 has stopped working but the phone powers up but the screen is blank. Is there any way i can get my contacts off the phone? I have tried to connect it to a computer but its not recognizing it.

I still get the notification in the top left hand corner that the message has been received, I still have sound with incoming ringtone and my alarm sound is still working.I went into settings - sound - volume and it looks good.I went into messages - settings - select ringtone and it looks good.i received a text message and had sound and then downloaded an application and the next text message I received the sound had gone. View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I woke up today my fingerprint scanner stopped working. It have done so before, but fixed itself. Today I have not been able to unlock phone once, if I don't delete current fingerprints and add a new. It then works for half an hour or so and then it can't recognize my finger anymore.
I have tried to wipe cache on Fingerprint scanner and wipe normal cache + Dalvik cache.
The a2dp stopped working on my S6. (G920F 5.1.1 unrooted) I can pair with devices (Speakers, etc) but if I go to their individual settings, the "Media Audio" is disabled. I can still connect to my car stereo and use the phone (the car stereo doesn't support a2dp).
I have done a factory reset 3 times, and the a2dp starts working again every time but after a while it stops. I have been careful in trying to identify what app triggers the a2dp to stop working but it doesn't seem to be related to installed apps.
Is it possible without root to get rid of these from the notification drawer? I thought initially that s finder was handy but have never used it and what quick connect is (when i click on it all it does is turn bluetooth on??) which is stupid because the bluetooth toggle is directly above it!
View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter the first day, the external speaker stopped working. I can hear sound via the earbuds, but it does not ring, nor have any audible notifications. Did hard reset, soft reset, several times, and still no sound. I have a replacement on order, but they won't have it to me for another week or more! Imagine having a phone that doesn't ring for over two weeks.
