IPhone :: Alphabetical Scroll Missing In Song List?
Apr 5, 2012The alphabet scroll is missing on the right side of my song list... Its really starting to bother me. The werid thing is, i still have the alphabet for my artist, just not the songs.

Nokia :: E72 - Upgraded - Full Contact List In Alphabetical Order - Can't Select Them Quickly
Mar 24, 2010My new E72 doesn't seem to support contact groups as well as my old N73.
Once upon a time I used to prefix contact names with special characters so that I could sort by different types in the contact list.
I then got my N73 with contact groups, so I used those instead and did away with the prefixes in the names.
The N73 let me quickly switch from the full contact list to the groups tab, so that I could then select the appropriate group and find the contact within it that I wanted.
Now I've 'upgraded' to an E72, I still have Groups, but they buried in the the full contact list in alphabetical order, so I can't select them quickly.
To make matters worse, there's no use reverting back to my ol prefixing strategy, because special characters (non alphanum) now seem to be ignored as part of the collating sequence, so I cannot easily influence the order of entries.

Jan 9, 2016The grid is a waste of space and an even bigger waste time when you have 50 to 100 favourites out of a phone list of several thousand. Alphabetic list format is easier and quicker, but I cannot find a way to change this.

On S5 & Note Edge It has a 3 dot icon on the top right hand corner & if you press that it will show all the functions like "Sort by."

Sep 14, 2015I've been really happy with the S6 and was able to customize most things that were bothering me, except this .In the app drawer, is there a way to change the way the navigation between pages work and make it like it was on the S5.On the S5, you could go to a specific page in one click on the bottom "bar", and you could hold you finger on it and slide to scroll quickly through pages.On the S6, none of those work, clicking a specific page in that bottom bar just goes to the next (or previous) page.Now that Xposed works, is there something that can fix this?

Aug 3, 2015I was able to do this in the Galaxy S4, but now it's gone. Since I did a restore of my previous phone's backup, all apps installed in a random order - and that's how my app list is now sorted.
How can I sort that alphabetically? I can live with manual sort (I've seen people speaking of the "A-Z" button in the app drawer, but I don't have it), automatic would be better.
Galaxy S6 :: Slightly Laggy App Drawer?
Apr 27, 2015I have the AT&T 32GB variant.
I noticed that sometimes (actually, somewhat frequently) the animation to open the app drawer is a little choppy and laggy. And then the actual app drawer (swiping left and right) also has slightly choppy animation as it moves from each page of apps.
This goes away if you press home, and then return back to the app drawer.

Apr 19, 2015With the recent purchase of my S6 edge I'm new to android and have some quick questions.
First, is there any way to sort the app drawer alphabetically? When I click on edit the only option I get is to disable or uninstall apps.
Secondly, I recently read a tip somewhere that said to reboot into safe mode and then restart to normal. This would improve battery life. Not sure if this is the cause but I did see an improvement after that. Anyway, I also noticed that apps in the app drawer are now scattered across 6 screens with some containing only 1 or 2 icons.

Jan 11, 2010Calendar is working 100% fine on Day and Month view - appointments are in the right place, right day, right time, synced from Mobile Me, and a calendar I subscribe to is also fine.
When I touch "List" view, and "Today", it thinks Today is Sun 7 Feb 2010. All my appointments are on the wrong day - "Today" 7 Feb I have an appointment that was last Saturday, 9 Jan. The same appointment appears "Yesterday", 6 Feb in the subscribed calendar - but only in List view
Have tried a hard reset and have tried unsubscribing the cal from MobileMe and resubscribing - any other ideas before I go for a Restore?

Jul 14, 2015I got a Galaxy S6 Edge a couple of weeks ago. Everything was as it should be until a few days ago. The phone icon went missing and it's not listed with in the apps area/drawer. However, when I check under Application Manager, its shows three phone applications which seem to be dupes. They can't be uninstalled or disabled. I've done force close and restarted the phone but no luck. I'm using Nova Launcher. I just got the the phone set-up the way I wanted so the the thought of a factory reset makes me queasy.

Apr 4, 2012Having an issue with the calendar on my iPhone 4S. Events display one day late in list view, but display properly in month view. For instance, an event I just created for tomorrow, Thursday April 5th, will display under Friday April 6th in the list view, but display properly in day and month views. Also some events are simply not shown. For instance, for a three day consecutive event, the first two events are shifted forward a day and the third drops out of view. All events are synced and display properly on my iPad, however.
