I have s6 Edge. I cannot create folders in application menu. I know you are suppose to press 'EDIT' and then drag application to drop onto another one. For me selected application just goes back to its original location.
is it possible to create folders in the app drawer of Launcher pro? Also, is it possible to create folders within folders (on homescreen or app drawer)
Switched to a Turbo from an htc one (m7) and it had all the google services and verizon software in folders on the app drawer by default, was wondering how to create them in the app drawer on the turbo to mimic that.
Is there are way to create folders within the App Drawer on stock ICS?I've noticed you can create groups, but I'd really rather have them in folders within the drawer.
With the recent purchase of my S6 edge I'm new to android and have some quick questions.
First, is there any way to sort the app drawer alphabetically? When I click on edit the only option I get is to disable or uninstall apps.
Secondly, I recently read a tip somewhere that said to reboot into safe mode and then restart to normal. This would improve battery life. Not sure if this is the cause but I did see an improvement after that. Anyway, I also noticed that apps in the app drawer are now scattered across 6 screens with some containing only 1 or 2 icons.
I just got a S6 Edge. In the app drawer there are four folders (Google, Verizon, Samsung, Tools and Amazon) with apps in them. I would like to delete one of those folders and put the apps individually into the app drawer. It won't let me do this. I can move apps from the app drawer to the home pages but not the other way around. Is there a way to do this?
Is it possible without root to get rid of these from the notification drawer? I thought initially that s finder was handy but have never used it and what quick connect is (when i click on it all it does is turn bluetooth on??) which is stupid because the bluetooth toggle is directly above it!
I got a Galaxy S6 Edge a couple of weeks ago. Everything was as it should be until a few days ago. The phone icon went missing and it's not listed with in the apps area/drawer. However, when I check under Application Manager, its shows three phone applications which seem to be dupes. They can't be uninstalled or disabled. I've done force close and restarted the phone but no luck. I'm using Nova Launcher. I just got the the phone set-up the way I wanted so the the thought of a factory reset makes me queasy.
On my old phone I created a (for instance) Games folder on my home screen so I didn't have lots of apps etc clogging up my screen. Can I do this with the LG G3 and if so how? (New phone. still playing!)
I'm just wondering if its possible to create folders to put all the icons in as I have 5 or 6 pages of them now? Also is it possible to make the vibrate better when a sms arrives as its not very noticeable? Running the software update.
Created a new email account in 5.1.1, but the "New Folder" button doesn't appear on the Mailboxes page, or on any page. Only allows Inbox, Sent, Trash and Drafts. Is there a way to create folders anyway?
I just bought my new Xperia mini pro. i read about creating folders but m not able to do it..the apps from the menu go to the home screen. Also is it possible to make the folders password protected.
I have a HTC Sensation XE. I have uploaded numerous music files. At present they are all located in the one folder but I wish to group those music files by artist. how it is I create music folder lists either on the device itself or is it easier via 'My Computer' when the device is connected to PC via USB.
When I get attachments, I want to be able to create specific folders to store those attachments in. The folders that Quick Office seems to point to are dcim (which, to my knowledge relates to pictures) and a directory called LOST.dir. How do I (1) create folders (or a directory structure of folders, and (2) tell Quick Office to point there? Or, do I have to tell GMAIL what to do with attachments?
I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to have a seperate folders and be able to hide them and store pics In them I was also wondering how to if possible make ur pictures password protected meaning you would need a password to see the pics you know for those sneaky folks!
So I just got the phone last week from a blackberry and have stuff that is now more visible on the HTC where it was never before (highlight reels and gallery views)
How do you create Folders in the Atrix stock Browser? The Atrix stock Browser is incredibly fast and has some good features, but have not seen a way to add Folders in order to organize Bookmarks.
How can you create separate folders in you picture gallery on a Motorola bravo ? I am coming from blackberry land which it was very easy to do.I don't want all pictures in one folder.I would like to be able to break them into relevant folders.
how to prevent image gallery from create folders for every year-month. It creates so many folders that becomes hard to synchronize and manage all those folders.
I've been really happy with the S6 and was able to customize most things that were bothering me, except this .In the app drawer, is there a way to change the way the navigation between pages work and make it like it was on the S5.On the S5, you could go to a specific page in one click on the bottom "bar", and you could hold you finger on it and slide to scroll quickly through pages. On the S6, none of those work, clicking a specific page in that bottom bar just goes to the next (or previous) page. Now that Xposed works, is there something that can fix this?
On my previous phones (S5 and S4) I was able to hide the stock apps ( Like the File Explorer) from the drawer without going into private mode. I cannot seem to do that on my S6. Is there something I'm missing? I only want to hide the apps, not disable or uninstall them.
