View 2 RepliesThe touch screen of my Xperia Mini Pro SK17a stopped reacting to touch three days ago. In the meanwhile I have repaired the software using Sony Bridge for Mac, used an old PC to repair with PC Companion and last tried SUS, but other than deleting my data nothing happened, the screen will not react to touch. The phone is 6 months old and I know there was no physical force or other stress applied upon it between the last time it worked and the moment I realized the screen was dead. It is a SK17a with 2.3.3 Gingerbread and Claro-Branded.
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy phone has only a few days and overnight, the bottom of the touch screen no longer works at the application buttons. By testing the service menu, it is clear that this part no longer detects the touch. I tried to put the latest firmware with SEUS but nothing changed.

View 1 Replies View RelatedDear Sony Ericsson Support,Today i've updated mine Xperia Mini Pro to the latest ICS version of Android and the touch suddently stopped workingI'm sure that is Software fault and not Hardware fault, cause with 2.3.5 it was working.Any ideas how to repair my phone?I need to send it to a Service Centre?
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Xperia X10 Mini Pro has a horizontal 'band' of about 1cm in the bottom half of the screen that does not respond to touch.I am able to touch and use anything above and below this 'band' but never within it.Phone is not under warranty and I have tried Factory resets and software updates with no success, I am assuming it's a hardware fault.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy mini pro started behaving weird lately. A few days ago the touch screen stopped working. The phone was not responding to anything but the hardware buttons. I was already prepared to take it to repair, but after 2 days I restarted it and everything was back to normal. This time it worked for about a day and then again...while unlocking it the touch screen went dead. Keeping it turned off for a day "solved" it this time. It can't be a complete hardware defect, otherwise it wouldn't just start working again after some time.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have an X8 that was repaired a few months ago due to a cracked screen.Yesterday the touch screen stopped working, the screen still displays everything it should and the menu, camera, lock and volume buttons work fine, but touching the screen does nothing which makes doing anything with the phone impossible.I've switched it on and off many times, including holding the power button until I get 3 vibrations and no luck. I've fully charged the phone and tested it whilst it's charging.I don't think there's been any damage, but it could have taken a knock whilst being in my pocket.
View 3 Replies View RelatedThis morning I turned on my iPhone 4S and it logged in fine. I got a bunch of text messages because my chats were updating and all of a sudden it started to freeze. So I turned it off to 'sleep' and tried logging in again and it wont work now I went to turn it fully off but because the touch screen isn't working, I can't swipe the 'off' part of my phone. I've plugged it in, updated it, everything I could think of, and the touch screen still won't work. Or is it time for a new phone?

Several times per day, my screen just stops working. The LCD portion of the screen still turns on and off, but it won't recognize any touches. The only way out is a soft reset, since I can't swipe down to turn the phone off, then it works again. I have the Windows 10 preview installed, if that matters.
I'm thinking that it's a hardware issue, but I'm not 100% on that, since a soft reset temporarily solves the problem.
I also tried a hard reset and that had me hopeful, because it worked most of the day, then the issue returned in the evening.
I have a K850i and the 3 touch screen buttons have stopped working. I have tried updating the software.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm pulling my hair out every time I use this phone. I have heard you can adjust the touch screen to make it less sensitive, but I've got no idea how to do it!
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy 3G has stopped working after upgrading my X10 mini from 1.6 to 2.1.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI bought a X10 mini/pro on the 10th of December. Was working fine, and yesterday the speaker suddenly stopped working. Can't hear the ring tone while there is an incoming call. Can listen to music through the earphone but not via the speaker. The speaker is dead.
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy menu button has stopped working can this be fixed??
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy Xperia Mini Pro has just passed 12 months old, it is in pristine condition. Randomly, the speaker has stopped working, it hasn't been dropped or had contact with water. I can use the loudspeaker or handsfree kit but the internal speaker has stopped working. Could it be a software issue or is it likely to be a hardware one?
View 1 Replies View RelatedOn Thursday evening my Active Sync stopped working all of a sudden. The Calendar and Contacts still work. Is there a log where I can troubleshoot? My IT department will need hard facts ;-)
View 2 Replies View RelatedI plugged my x10 into my Macbook Pro with Sony Bridge for Mac installed and the touchscreen suddenly stopped working. When I unplugged the cable the touchscreen remained unresponsive but then after a while it became responsive for half a minute before going off again. All this time the phone keeps telling me I've got new email coming through but I don't know where that email is. Now I'm getting texts but I cannot read them.
How can I get my touchscreen to work again? This appears to be a software problem? Can I read or export SMS messages without using the touchscreen?
I would erally need to back up my SMS if I need to wipe the phone but so far have not found a way to do this. I have never updated the system of the phone so I assume it's still in the original factory OS.
i installed the bluetooth file transfer app from the market and it worked fine for a couple of goes, then my 6 yr old got hold of my phone and i am not sure if he altered some sort of setting and it is now not sending out files (it says on the recieving phone, - connection dropped- ) it is also now not connecting to other phones. Is there anyway of finding out what had changed so i can fix it, would a reset work if so how to do it.
View 6 Replies View RelatedSince I get the ICS upgrade, the Internet Sharing stopped working on my phone. It was working well just before.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI usually charge my phone overnight because the battery goes almost dead by the end of the day. I had connected my phone to the charger and tried to use the touch screen, it didnt work to my surprise. I tried to use the hardware buttons, they seemed to be working but all that in vain because when i tried to switch off the phone, i couldn't...!! Because the final screen to confirm the switch off of the phone is a touch command. This is not expected to happen on a device that i paid so much for...
I think there is some problem with the gravity sensor when connecting to the charger, i have seen this only when i connect my phone for charging and when the phone is in a position where the screen is facing the floor tilted towards the right. I have seen this problem 3 times, and would not like to see it happen again.
I have recently got a symbol in the top left hand side of my screen. Since i got it i have lost the ability to text using the touch screen , also i have lost the smiley face applicaion.
The main screen sometimes flickers too. The symbol is like a wedge with a rectangle shape sat on top with a red circle beside it.
Is there any way or any app to "unlock" the phone using touchscreen only. i dont want to use the key lock button which is at the top of phone to lock the phone. i found one app in the market to lock the phone using touch screen.
View 5 Replies View Relatedrecently my x10 mini pro can't use the touch screen when sliding the keyboard. Then just yesterday, when i slide the kayboard out, the whole screen turn black.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am an addition to that list wherein the touch of my phone has gone completely dead. Have tried the repair option via the PCC but that has not helped. Rebooting multiple times has had no impact. Although the soft keys on the phone still operate but the touch has become completely unresponsive.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI was browsing the market for free e-books, and when I clicked on one of the apps, the phone just turned off. now I can't even turn it on. The SD card and SIM card is fine the phone just won't turn on. I have tried taking the battery out and putting it back in. When I try to plug it into the computer, it says that the usb port is malfunctioned.
