It appears that this is a prevailing issue here. I tried to sync my 9630 using DM 6 and I got an error # 0x80043aaa check documentation when the "Action Engine loading configuration" prompt came up during sync.
Eventually went back to DM 5.1 after several tries at resolving this issue.
Just tried to sync my blackberry with outlook and got the following error code 0x0043ac9. It worked fine the other day... does anyone know what this means and how do I fix it so I can sync again?I have a US Cellular Blackberry Bold 9650 OS 6 With 220.2 MB of free space Did a battery pull fix your issue? I have removed all of the pictures from the contacts on outlook but the error message still appears.
I have uncheck the picture and attachment fields in the DM but the error message still appears.

I've unistalled Destop Manager, reverted back to 5.0.0 and I still have the same issue. This was and is currently setup with my Outlook 2003 (SP3) exchange server to forward my work emails, and it worked up until I updated to 5.0.1 last week.
I've got a BB9700, Bold 2.At home, Outlook, it syncs happily. At work, with Lotus Notes, it crashed when "updating the devide calendar". There was no issue a few months ago doing exactly the same thing.I'm not sure if it's related, but for some stupid reason I installed Facebook and accidently got the calendar to sync with facebook. I have now removed all entries for the Facebook calendar and al the Service book for Facebook calendar, so it now doesn't appear anywhere.
Facebook is blocked by works firewall, so I therefore assumed that was the problem, hence deleting all my calendar entries associated to Facebook.I've tried syncing with both Bluetooth and the cable.

Unfortunately, I had to downgrade back to 5.0.1 as I could not complete Organizer synchronization - I kept getting an error message saying that an unknown error had occurred. There didn't seem to be any log files I could look at to see what might be causing the problem.

I have tried to do this over WiFi, Over the Air, Through Itune (running the latest version) but still no luck. I am don't know what else to do. Does anyone know what the next thing I should try? View 15 Replies View RelatedI recieved an email saying that there was a software update for my device, but when I open the desktop software to update it get a message saying "Your blackberry application loader needs to be updated before you can continue. Do you want to update it now?" So I click yes but then get an error message. "An error has occured while downloading the blackberry app loader software. Please try again". If I select "check for updates" under the help menu in the loader is says that there arent any available. I've also completely uninstalled the program, downloaded the software direct from the website and reinstalled and i'm still get the same problem, which is stopping me from updating my phone.

It goes through a couple of dialogue boxes and after like 5 mins, an error appears saying 'this requires that .net 3.5 sp1 shouild be installed' and i hit finish and it is exited.

I was able to sync fine before I formatted my hard drive. Now, when I try to configure my sync settings, the, "Folder is missing..." error pops up when I click Finish (the last step). This happens for every setting I try, calendar, address book, memos, tasks.It seems that this is quite the problem, many threads with this question, but no clear answers. Can anyone walk me/us through a solution for this problem?

I was backing up my blackberry torch last night and the connection was disconnected during the backup. When the phone restarted the message "App Error 606" / "Reset" came up. I can't do anything on my phone except for reset it, and pulling the battery does nothing.When I try to connect it to blackberry desktop software it wont connect... I left it for an hour and it still just said that it was connecting.I also tried connecting to BBSAK and it couldn't connect there either, so I can't reset it to factory settings. I checked the desktop manager and it recognizes the USB port as connected to a blackberry device but that is about as close as I can get to connecting to anything.I have a backup of all of my information from before this happened so I don't mind completely resetting my phone, but I have no idea how to do this without being able to:
a) connect it to the computer
b) do anything except reset on the phone
Ive searched and havent really found a good answer to my problem, but when i connect my blackberry through the USB port, my computer and DM are not finding that its connected. Ive tried re-installing DM, re-starting my computer, re-booting my phone and none of these have worked. Is there something else that I am missing?
