Jan 16, 2010I continue to get the error message listed in the subject each time I try to sync me device with my computer. I tried uninstalling all of my Blackberry software, then re-installing and I still contine to get the error message (which makes me thing it is an issue with my phone).

Sep 12, 2012When attempting a sync with my outlook on the laptop, the adddress book quits half way thru with the error message,"Error encountered 0x80040fb3 check documentation"Prior to this I had updated software to ver. 5.0.0.973 bundle 1596. updated desktop software. kept trying with same response. I've had this phone for a little over two years.It's terribly inconvenient to not have all my contacts in the phone as only about half would load. (403 of 800 or so.)

I have removed all of the pictures from the contacts on outlook but the error message still appears.
I have uncheck the picture and attachment fields in the DM but the error message still appears.

Aug 26, 2010New to BB world - had TREO for long time. Having difficult time w/ calender sync from Outlook.
Aforementioned error code continues to pop up even after reinstallation of BB Desktop Software and uprgrade to v.6.0.1. Anyone else experience this error? Otherwise, BB a very intuitive and elegant device.

Feb 12, 2011When I try to sync my Outlook 2003 calendar entries with my Curve, I get the following error:"Error encountered. Error code - 0x80043ac9. Check documentation."It seems to be stuck in the "Processing Device Calendar" screen, with "Record 20 of 80 Records", when the above error popped up. See screenshot below.I have NO PROBLEM syncing Outlook Contacts or Memos. I ONLY have problem when syncing Outlook Calendar.I've read other posts out there where there was a similar problem when syncing Contacts, and the solution is to remove Birthday contact entries:[URL] But I don't have any Birthday in my contacts, and my problem is with Calendar, not Contacts.

Aug 25, 2010It appears that this is a prevailing issue here. I tried to sync my 9630 using DM 6 and I got an error # 0x80043aaa check documentation when the "Action Engine loading configuration" prompt came up during sync.
Eventually went back to DM 5.1 after several tries at resolving this issue.

I have deleted contact photos check email address deleted several contacts, backup the device to no success checked the bb blogs nothing seems to be working and trying to figure out how to "speak" with someone at BB is next to impossible. Dec 13, 2010I have a Blackberry Storm 2 in which I loaded another Gmail address, sometime there after I tried to sync my storm with my laptop and received an error a quarter of the way through the sync of my contacts. When I received this error I checked my contacts on my device and they were all gone! I have since spent about 6 hours doing a clean install of my desktop software and device software all of which has yielded no results. I am still receiving the same error.

Dec 22, 2010There appears to be no fix for this problem. RIM suggests the issue relates to email2 and/or email3 entry's with no content in the email field for the Outlook Contacts. This has been thoroughly checked and I confirmed this was not the case (also confirmed no East Asian characters).The problem is definitely in the newest version of the Device operating system. When I rolled back to the old operating system, the problem goes away.I can not believe RIM has no contact capability within the Support website for people with problems! Very user unfriendly. They are begging for customers to switch to iPhone.
