I am trying to update my iPhone 4s to the 5.1. I have been trying to check for updates since the release but everyday I am getting the same error. I have tried to do this over WiFi, Over the Air, Through Itune (running the latest version) but still no luck. I am don't know what else to do. Does anyone know what the next thing I should try? This same error is for the Ipad and Apply TV2. Is there something that I need to do with my Apple ID account?

I have an iPhone from Verizon which will not update to 5.1.1. The software update is listed in Settings > General > Software Update on the phone. When I click "Install Now", I accept the license agreement, the phone 'verifies' the update and then I get a dialog box with "Unable to install Update. An error occurred installing IOS 5.1.1" And that's it - no dice. My phone is *not* jailbroken and my network connection works fine.

View 3 Replies View RelatedSo I plugged my x10 into the computer today to update the software. PC Companion did nothing for me when I used it before, so I used the update service directly from SE. Unfortunately, wasn't available this time, so I gave using PC Companion another shot. So my phone got about halfway through the update process before saying an error occurred, and the update couldn't be completed. So I went back a step and redid the prepping 3 times in a row, each time telling me to go back. Now my phone wont even turn on, I feel a vibration when I press the on button but that's it. The computer isn't even recognizing the phone as an x10 anymore, and whenever I try to do PCC recognition, it won't connect. SO all in all, PC Companion screwed me over.

Inspite of good connectivity, When I try again it resumes from 6.3MB and immediately throws the error. I tried reinstalling NSU but didn't help.Is there any way to clear cache of NSU?

whether Apple will ever give the spell checking programm in iOS any updates? I am using the German version of iOS and the spell checking of iOS is an offence any for of intelligent life. Even the T9 software in the 1990 was able to LEARN user spelled words and to save them for further use. The iOS spellchecking doesn't seem to have this feature. I just bought my iphon last night & tried doing it`s first update this morning. I got an error message that the update failed & now my iphone only shows a pic of a usb cable with an arrow pointing to the itunes logo.I already tried holding down the on off buton & the home button like the instructions say. Problem is that when the instructions say I should be at the part where itunes is again recognizing my iphone, my itune is not recognizing my iphone. So I am stuck. 2 days ago I checked to see if there has been an update on my E72-2 NAM. I checked through my device and also on the "Check for update" on the Nokia site. Both said that there was an update. My present V is 021.024 and the new V is 022.007. Then I read through the postings to see if anyone had tried the new Version. This morning I checked on my device and I was told that there was no update available, but it was still available on the Nokia site.I am a bit scared to attempt an update normally but even more so now.
Does this mean that Nokia has taken the update back because of problems with it?I need some advice on this. My present Version doesn't seem to be giving me any problems, Maybe because I am not a power user.

I upgraded to Android 5.02 this morning and my phone keeps coming up with the "Unfortunately Google Play Services has stopped" error message over and over again. Also my 4g has slowed down to a crawl (despite showing 4g next to my signal bar), my signal hasn't been higher than 2 bars all day, where it's normally full and a lot of my apps that use data aren't working at all - 9gag, maps etc.
My phone is almost unusable at the moment
when i am on Internet i can no longer view media files?? not sure why , it was working before? not sure if i changed a setting or what? it says" an error has occurred attempting to play media.
