I am having 8530 with OS 5, i am selecting option delete email from handheld and mailbox but mails are still reflecting in mailbox, i tried every possible permutation and combination in email--->options--->email settings and email reconciliation.
View 4 RepliesI upgraded my 9360 OS recently from OS 7.0 to v 7.1.0.336, Platform 9.6.0.51. Since the upgrade I no longer have the option to delete e-mails on handheld only or on the server as well. I really enjoyed having the option to delete totally or just from my handheld and then view the mail later on my pc.When I delete a mail from my BB now, it just deletes it from my device and leaves it on the server without the option to delete it there as well.

My email reconciliation is set to delete on prompt, wireless reconcile is on, and on conflicts is set to mailbox wins. However, I am not being prompted. What is confusing is that on some emails it asks and on others it is not asking. I tried battery pulls, deleting and readding the email address. I only have a personal email and not business.

iPhone 4s, ios 5.1, Verizon customer. I have never had an issue until this phone. Why I can see the "delete from server" option, but I can't check it? It's really annoying to delete emails from my phone and then have to go back and delete from my computer.

I recently received a replacement Blackberry Bold device. On my old phone I had it set up to ask whether I wanted to delete email messages on just the handheld device or both. I like having the option. On this replacement device I can't find this optional setting. I'm even having a hard time accessing the various email options.
View 9 Replies View RelatedOn my 9000, and I thought on my Torch as well - until today - there was a subpage in mail options called message services which permitted you to select which email account settings to modify (for example BES or BIS). Then once I selected my BES account there was an option to "send email to handheld" or not. Something I turned off every evening and back on in the morning (don't want work emails bugging me all night).BUT, now I can't find where that option is on my Torch. Very strange. I've searched everywhere, I think. Any help would be great. At minimum, will someone who has multiple email accounts (BES) check their Torch to see if the setting I refer to is there? View 2 Replies View RelatedHad trouble uninstalling Nobex Radio Companion it required restart of phone to complete uninstall which i did but on restart phone would not start.Removed/refitted battery and started ok but i now have 3 new apps which i cant delete - virgin music sync,bubblebash2,and gameloft which i did not download and if i press menu for each item there is no option to delete/uninstall.When i connected phone to computer and checked with desktop software the apps dont show up.

When someone sends me a text I have always had the option of either clearing the chat or deleting the chat. View 6 Replies View RelatedMaybe this is in the VZW Tour 5.0 software thread or something, but after completing the software upgrade, when I receive emails through my Gmail account and decide to delete an email, I am no longer getting the option to delete from the mailbox, the device, or both, although the option is set uo from this particular email account. I'm not having any problems with the Yahoo email account. I've removed the email and readded it on the phone as well as on the Blackberry Internet Server website.
View 4 Replies View RelatedThis is really bothering me.I have a yahoo mail account set up on my phone - It has been on there for over a year - it has always worked this way - If I get an email (the phone goes "bing") and i read it on the computer - and responded and delete it on the computer it would be removed from the phone the next time i looked. Recently I began noticing that the message is not being delated from the phone if I delete it from the mailbox, and I can't figure out why.
Basically I want to be able to read the message on the computer and hit delete and for it do the same thing on my blackberry and vise versa. Now it seems to work if I delete the message on the BB then it will not be in the Mailbox on the computer.
I have a new-to-me device, after my original Curve 8530 had to be sent back to the carrier. I restored old settings from a backup re Desktop Manager, but now there are messaging problems. One, my setup folder doesn't have an e-mail setup option. Two, in "Email Reconciliation" option, only chloice I have is to change the e-mail account on "Message Services" drop-down. Related to that, if I'm in "messages," my Options screen lacks "Reconcile Now."

I have been receiving absolutly no help from my local SPRINT representatives and I am about ready to throw my blackberry out the window.I received a replacement phone for my blackberry that has a missing part and I was able to sycronize all things from the old blackberry 8330 onto the new blackberry 8530.problem is that I am not getting my emails now! When I go to set up wizard, I am not given the options to set up new accounts or to delete accounts, just to sign in and when I do, the log in and passwords are not correct even though they are.

So, if I send an email to myself, both the mail (received) and the sent mail show up in the handheld "inbox". I could not find a set up option so that the send mail will not be listed in the inbox. Any idea? Thanks.

I have a new 8530 and even though I select "Delete on mailbox and Handheld" every time I delete an email, it only will delete it on the Blackberry. Reverse is also true, when I delete email on my laptop the emails do not delete on Blackberry (not sure if this is even an option).This happens on both my gmail account and my comcast account.

(This has happened before on another non-BB phone -- So I didn't think much of it) Then I tried to log in to the Yahoo Instant Messenger on the IM folder.Each one (MSN, YIM, AIM) gave me the error message of 'Service not Enabled for this Handheld device" I looked on Google, YES I do have a data plan, I went to my service provider about a different problem, (Close enough, it was about emails), and I DO have the Data plan.
