From June to March 2010.I saw in the User guide manual, It delete sms and email for to get free space I deleted some pictures, I have not many pictures and they are very little, medium definition.I'have not video and music only melodies default, I have only sms and email recorded Now I have 950kb free memory I saw in computer BB software manger,section backup and restore.there is one folder into the phone called Purged SMS and this folder has got 163 sms.I think my sms deleted?I would like to restore my sms and email lost, How can I do?My last backup on March, has not this sms and email?

Apr 6, 2012My Blackberry Curve has developed a frustrating problem. A couple of weeks ago, the screen started fading out to white and wouldn't go back to normal operating screenThe only way to get it back was to connect it to my Mac and restart via BlackBerry desktop. All fine, but it has continued to do this on a daily basis. If I am on a call, the tell tale sign is a loud crackle, then bang - have lost all connection and the white screen of death is back. Taking out the battery and restarting doesn't fix it.I backed up my files last month and when I'd restart it, everything was restored. Until this week, that is. I can't restore my memos from the backup file and three games have also disappeared (not that they matter ... much!).
When I go into the back file, the memos is in grey (where you should be able to tick the box), with a note at the bottom that says: "Dimmed entries are read-only data bases and cannot be restored."I know there must be a way to get then back, but I'm at my wit's end. I've got some important notes on them and want them back before I replace my Curve.

Before I left, my gave my bb 8530 to a friend. When I got to Ghana, I mistakenly restored my contact list using email, so it automatically removed my friend's bbm data and now she has lost her contacts.Initially, her bbm contacts appeared on my blackberry messenger contacts so I decided to back up my files remotely. Nothing happened and I later backed up locally using my saved back up list for last month then it was restored. This morning, I got a few bbm request that were her contacts.

It did show on my phone NO email accounts at all, tho I don't know why, since they are stored on the device, not the sim. But how do I get all those messages back in my mailbox folders?

May 9, 2011My company had a planned upgrade of our system. I had to wipe my phone and reactivate as a result. Before I did I downloaded Blackberry desktop and backed up my phone. When I went to restore there were two options a complete restore that would put everything back to how it was and a custom restore. I think I can't choose the complete restore since that would remove the company's intended changes changes. If I choose custom restore the password file is grayed out. A note at the bottom tells me the grayed out items are read only data types and cannot be restored. Does anyone know how to restore my data.
