I got a little problem with my cellphone. (Curve 3G)
Sometimes when I want to use whatsapp, I can't send a message or receive one. When I use the internet, I can't get any pages. The only solution for me now is to pull out my battery and put it back in, but after a while the same thing happens again.
My internet stops working by itself, whenever it doesnt load i have to reboot my phone and try it again. And even when my internet comes on and i click on something, it closes again. I've only had my phone for 4months so i dont see why it should be having any problems.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI brought my BlackBerry a few weeks back, and brought the Data Plan (£5 for BBM, Internet etc for 1 month)... IT was working PERFECTLY until yesterday Morning... I woke up, checked my BBM as usual, Ended all the chats that were Broadcast Messages blah blah blah, and went to speak to one of my Contacts on BBM... THe message wouldnt send... I thought it's probably just slow or something.... Yet im still having the same problems now... Nearly 2 days it hasnt worked now, and it's getting very annoying!
Features that are being affected are;
- BBM
- Facebook App
- App World
- Browser
This is one message I usally get while trying to use the Browser:
"Unable to connect to the Internet, please try again later.
If the problem persists please contact your service provider."
Another thing that's really annoyed me is the fact that most people with a Similar problem to my has "gprs" in Lower Case letters, yet i have "GPRS" in Capitals, yet still not working.. I admit, on the rare occasion i can send a message but it takes ages, usually about 30 minutes. No matter where I go, whether it's my house, the woods, the town, anywhere, im getting the same problem, whereas before, I could go anywhere, including those 3 place and it would be FINE!!
I've done everything I could, Battery Removal, Wipe, SImple turned the Mobile Network off, then back on... NOTHING is helping!!
Until yesterday morning i had NO problems what so ever, then suddenly I get this!!!
I got my Phone from T-Mobile, and im with Vodafone
There is a 1xT(bar)x on the top right hand corner of my phone. My phone is able to receive and send calls/texts but my internet/email is not working at all. When I go to manage connections, mobile network is checked off, but Mobile Network Options shows that even though data services are on, my mobile network is listed as 'none." I tried a reset by taking the battery out but that didn't work. I've only had this phone for a few weeks and it worked fine up until yesterday.

It says contact service provider when i goingt o use third party applications. BIt dosent correct the issue when i restart my phone either. But when i switch off the phone and replace battey. then wait few seconds and again switch on the phone internet is working fine for some time.Im curious about this issue hence its a intermittentl one. Do you anyone have experiance about this kind of issue.

AND Why do I need to pay extra for this, if I pay £5 a month, do I get unlimited access for the cost? I have Windows Vista operating system and every time I try to use Intellisync to sync my Yahoo Address book with the device the program stops working. What am I doing wrong? Web searching/browsing just comes to a halt and eventually there is a message saying that there is no internet connectivity.owever the icon at the bottom right of the screen shows an excellent signal. am wondering if the problem is the internet service provider or wifi router or if the problem is with the xoom. I can get it up and running for a short period if I reboot the phone. I have checked that BIS is connected. Roaming data services are on. I have cleared the cache, cookies, and history from the browser. I recently upgraded the blackberry messenger service and these problems seem to have started at about the same time. Is this a coincidence? Perhaps it is a problem with my service provider?

I have registered the phone with my network company (vodafone) but still it wont connect to the net. After a few weeks, I bought her a pay monthly SIM and got her original PAYG number transferred across to the Pay Monthly SIM. Since then, she hasn't been able to get BBM to work. All her friend requests are 'Pending Authorisation' and she cannot send or receive messages. The Internet is also not working, although she hadn't tried that until now, so I don't know whether it was working before. Text and voice calls are, and always have been, fine.

My blackberry internet service is not working. I have a curve 8250 and I am on a vodafone contract and I do have blackberry plan in my contract so it should work but it keeps saying it is not connected. I connected toa wifi connection yesterday and when I disabled that connection, my BIS did not start up again, i tried a battery pop reboot which didn't help at all, I even ran a diagnostics test and the resutls said as follows:
blackberry registration: no
Connected to blackberry:abort
blackberry pin-pin:abort
I recently updated the software on my blackberry to OS6 and after i seemed to have a problem with my applications email and the internet on the phone. My messages on bbm are not sending and the applications and internet just refuse to load.
i called vodafone as they are my network and they suggested that i go into options, then mobile network, then change the mobile network to any other network, after doing this i would change it back to vodaphone and switch my phone off. i did this and turned my phone back on after 20 minuets but then the proplem was still there.
i am paying monthly for this internet sevice and as a person that uses it on a regular basis (this meaning all day every day!) it is being a real pain.
I have just come back of my holidays and i got a message of o2 saying that my blackberry messenger and internet have been ceased, what do i do to get them to work again?

My BBM, Twitter and Facebook are working fine however, my internet and WhatsApp isn't. When I click on WhatsApp, it just says "Initialization can take up to 5 minutes" and when I click to use the internet, it just says "Unable to connect to the internet, please try again later".
I've had the phone for 2 years and have never had this problem before. I currently have the WhatsApp free trial which expires in August so I don't want to delete and re-install incase it charges me?
My internet doesn't work unless I reboot my phone (even after that it doesn't last for long) and my phone freezes for very long periods of time so I just reboot it. I thought this problem occured because I had alot of files on my 2gb memory card (music, pictures, videos), but this problem is still happening and I have an 8gb memory card.(BB 9300)

My internet browser is not working, it takes ages to load, the blue bar at the bottom saying 'requesting' is there for ages and then comes up with the notification "Unable to connect to the internet, please try again later. If the problem persists please contact your service provider." None of the apps involving internet are working either - BBM, Facebook, Whats App etc. I have already done the whole resend service books thing and that hasn't helped.
