BB Curve :: 9300 Will Not Boot Up?
Sep 15, 2011I had my daughter in tears tonight as her Curve 9300 will not boot up. It is out of warranty!! It starts to boot up, then crashes after the loading bar moves about 1:8th along the load bar. I have tried to connect to the Blackberry Desk top software and I have tried to wipe the BB using JL_Cmdr but the phone does not stay on long enough to connect to anything. It is not the battery as I have the same phone and I have put my battery in to test it.

Aug 25, 2012My BlackBerry 9300 curve is (usually) freezing after the booting progress bar has reached the end. Occasionally, I can get it to connect to my Desktop Software. And very occasionally, after trying to connect, it goes into some unrecognisable text version of its screen. I'm able to scroll about on this and try various things, but I keep getting Java errors. After a number of these I got a message saying "AppError 601" and the phone rebooted. Hasn't shown particular signs of life yet (back to freezing at the end of its boot progress).
I did manage successfully to use the resettofactory command from the MacOS terminal to get it to wipe. However, from the text-only screen, and judging by the documentation as well, it doesn't remove apps. And I'm guessing this is app-related.I've tried booting it in safe mode, which left me with a frozen screen with text in the background and a rectangular logo screen in the foreground (there's also a screenshot in the attachments).Even if none of this rings a bell with any of you, do any of you know how to delete the apps from the command line?
BB Curve :: 9300 Doesn't Start - Stuck At Boot Screen
Jun 13, 2011I've got a brand new Curve 9300 less than a week ago. I've updated it's OS to version 6, and it worked perfectly. When I attempted to configure my email, it automatically asked to update with my carrier's email setup software. I just chose ok. I got three warning messages, which I don't exactly remember but it was about something may not function correctly (regarding to version difference). I just continued installation, and it asked for a reboot. When I rebooted the mobile, it goot stuck at the boot screen. Then nothing! The thin status bar bellow BlackBerry's logo fills up until it's full, then nothing happens. When I wait for longer time (a few minutes), I get a message on a white screen with a tiny font with "App Error 606", with one option of 'RESET'. I pulled out the battery and restored it a few times, nothing different. Notes:The LED does not do anything, except for a single red blink when it rebootsThe keboard seems to be responsive. I get the Alt and Shift indicators in the top right corner when I press themThe power button doens't seem to cause

Sometimes when I put the battery in it begins to boot up, the freezes and stops. It then intermittently flashes red twice while the battery is in or connected to charger.
Tried connecting to BB Desktop to restore factory settings but can't get it to connect until the device has booted up (whic it won't)...

Jun 7, 2012I upgraded my Blackberry 9300 v.5 to a v.6. It went well, it was able to boot after the upgrade but it was far too slow so I decided to reboot it by taking out the battery, it opened, it showed the Blackberry logo and it was loading but after it has finished loading, it won't proceed to the home screen so I waited and after a few hours my screen says "app error 603" or something like that. I tried taking it to a technician and they said they would have to re-program but it costs a lot, so I'm wondering if anyone can help me with this ASAP.

Galaxy S6 :: Unable To Boot Into TWRP Recovery After Flashing Using Odin
May 1, 2015I'm using G920I Australia version. I can successfully root using CF-Auto-Root.
But I can not get into TWRP recovery after I flashed that (tried both versions of the recovery) using odin. It stops at the first screen (samsung logo). I tried using adb commond reboot recovery and the hardware key (volum up+power+home), both of them do not let me in to the custom recovery.
I had tried enabled knox before flash TWRP, which made it into boot loop. And then recoveried using the official firmware. Now I can only get into the official recovery.
How to get into the TWRP? BTW, how to backup the pit file using adb? On previous models it was mmcblk0, but Galaxy S6 seems to have changed the memory map to sda1, sda2, etc.
Huawei Nexus 6P :: Phone Will Not Stop Boot Loop After Flashing
Jan 21, 2016This morning while at work i decided to try another ROM while I had some time. I have been running VRtoxin with no issues as of this morning. I downloaded the latest pure nexus and proceeded to advance wipe everything but storage. I flashed the rom and dynamic gapps. The phone booted up and seemed to be fine until i tried to open a few of the apps i use on a regular basis. When i went to open facebook, hangouts, google plus and some others i would get a notification that unfortunately the app was stopped. I tried rebooting and reinstalling pure nexus and kept getting the same messages. I finally got sick of it and decided to flash my back up i made this morning of VRtoxin. That's when the boot loops started. I have since then mounted system, advance wiped all but storage and tried to flash both VR and pure nexus. Neither will get past boot loop. I have waited 15+ minutes for each.

Nov 7, 2015So I flashed the latest firmware, after being unlocked, then rent back to bootloader, flashed recovery, went to recovery and installed file. Then restarted...now stuck in boot loop. It booted before I went to flash recovery in the new firmware just fine.
Do you need to flash something else when you flash recovery?
it says device is corrupt when I restart, but I was under the impression that screen comes up when bootloader is unlocked, so not sure if it means anything...
Galaxy S6 :: Black Screen / Won't Boot - Steady Blue Light On (not Flashing)

When I'm trying to power on the phone, I get the initial black and white "Samsung Galaxy S6" screen. Then everything goes black and the blue LED on the top left lights up and stays on, does not flash or dim, just stays on. The phone does not vibrate or make any sound when it does this.
What I've tried to fix it:
1) Power + Volume down (maintenance boot mode) ... I've tried normal boot, factory reset and booting in safe mode, all just give me a black screen with the blue LED.
2) Power + Volume Up + Home (andoid system recovery screen) ... When doing this, the phone displays the black and white "Samsung Galaxy S6" screen, followed by a bluish colored screen with a little android guy on it, followed by the dead android guy with a yellow exclamation triangle over his head, then goes into the android system recovery menu. On this screen I can wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache partition and reboot and I still get a black screen with a steady blue LED.
3) Power + Volume Down + Home followed by Volume Up (Downloading screen) ... Takes me to the bluish screen warning me about downloading a custom OS. After hitting up it does not show the knox has ever been triggered. I've tried using ODIN 3.10.6 to reinstall fresh firmware (5.1.1 G920VVRU3BOG5) and after it successfully installs it, it boots to a black screen with the steady blue LED.

I tried renegade rom and wanted to go back to stock, but I can't seem to get rid of the boot/splash image it puts when you turn on your phone.
Is there something special I need to do when I flash stock firmware with odin?
Also, as I have sprint, should I be selected RTN for sprint? I had done that, was that bad?
It seems telling twrp to do advanced wipe of system and a bunch of other stuff that apparently is not normally wiped did it.

Feb 2, 2010I installed the BB desktop manager for Mac yesterday, and this morning connected to remove some apps, create some space, and install all the updates. In the process of this it mysteriously just stopped doing anything right after it said "database cannot be backed up" and shut off. Now it's flashing red twice, pausing for about 2 seconds, and repeating the flashing. I pulled the battery and sim even though I was sure that wouldn't do anything, plugged it back into my laptop, plugged it into the wall both with and without the battery, and nothing has changed. The desktop manager doesn't not recognize the device at all.
I'm using a Curve 8330. Is there anything I can do or am I screwed totally? Also, and I know this is a long shot, but what are the odds that I can restore the device and save the data that's on it?

I have pulled the battery, I have made sure the options for coverage is set to off. I have also uninstalled any apps I don't need. I didn't install anything prior to this happening and it's draining my battery quite quickly. Even when I switch phone off with the red button, the green LED stays. May 10, 2012Well Basicaly the other night i was using the phone and it suddenly said "Battery Drained, Shutting Down handheld" even though i clearly had at least 50% battery still. Since that point i have not been able to turn on my phone and the LED has been flashing 30 seconds or so while the battery is in or it is connected to my computer. However while i have the device on charge it displays a battery with a lightning bolt through it and then proceeds to a white screen where i can not do anything at all.
I have trying to reinstall the latest OS but that doesnt work, i get to the point where it says "reconnecting to JVM" and then my device's LED starts to flash again and it says that it cant connect to my phone.

I have a 32 GB HTC One M9 from Verizon on stock Lollipop Android, and it has been working perfectly until this morning. I woke up to my M9 stuck in a bootloop. It would boot to the HTC logo, stay there for about 10 sec, then go black and constantly restart again (even as I type this). I can access the bootloader, but it seems none of the options work for me! I can't boot to recovery mode or even power off my phone. It just constantly boots again by itself.

Sep 11, 2010Last night I fell asleep with my phone next to me, and I know that this isn't very smart but when I woke up my phone was off and the red led was flashing. Aug 30, 2012Okay so my blackberry curve 3G is relatively new, around 10 months. And today it was working fine, decent charge on the battery, when it decided to crash. I left it alone, and it still wouldnt respond. So i took the battery out, left it for 5 minutes, and put it back in. Usually, it automatically starts up, but this time there was no response. When i tried to turn it on, the screen stayed black, but the light in the corner came on red, for roughly 10 seconds, then turned off, and began to flash for around 3 seconds, every 10 seconds. ive tried plugging it into the computer, however it cannot pick it up, and if i try to install older software (downgrade it, which it recommends to do) it fails just before the end, every time.

It does stop when you press the end call button but soon starts again.

All of sudden, it showed "Cleaning Memory" and ever since it has been showing a white screen with the clock. I even tried removing the battery, the memory card, etc to re-boot, but its not working.
