my BB just went dead two days ago (have it since 20 months). The red light is blinking four times then pause, and then again four times... on and on... I tried to take the battery out, to charge it, USB, but nothing seems to work.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo, for the past few days, when I wake up in the morning, I have found that the lower half of my screen is flashing. I use the AlarmDroid app and have done so since I got the device in February, so I didn't think that this would be the cause. It will flicker for a while, then eventually stop, so I can't just take it to erizon and show it to them. It only seems to do it first thing in the morning when I wake up (plugged into the charger). I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, but no change. The only thing I can think of is that a couple of weeks ago my phone would not restart, so I had to reset to factory defaults. This started after I did the factory reset.

Now the internet is fixed but I can't send MMS. A large red cross just appears whenever I try to. When I call my provider, they say everything is active on my account, and I've had to go through the settings with them numorous times each time I call up because they don't believe me when I say I've done it all before. So basically, apparently my account and settings are all correct

View 2 Replies View RelatedI installed the BB desktop manager for Mac yesterday, and this morning connected to remove some apps, create some space, and install all the updates. In the process of this it mysteriously just stopped doing anything right after it said "database cannot be backed up" and shut off. Now it's flashing red twice, pausing for about 2 seconds, and repeating the flashing. I pulled the battery and sim even though I was sure that wouldn't do anything, plugged it back into my laptop, plugged it into the wall both with and without the battery, and nothing has changed. The desktop manager doesn't not recognize the device at all.
I'm using a Curve 8330. Is there anything I can do or am I screwed totally? Also, and I know this is a long shot, but what are the odds that I can restore the device and save the data that's on it?
My Sprint 8350 reboots several times during the day either while listening to MP3 files or just sitting on my desk. This is the second one I have that is doing the same thing. Sprint first told me that I needed to clear the log file using Alt LGLG and deleting the file. Next I was told to update the OS which I did. Lastly, they told me to clear the emails I receive and that should fix the problem. Now with my second phone it is doing all of the same thing.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI've been using personal pop3 email on my Blackberry 8520 without any problems then suddenly I'm seeing the same email arrive more than once in my Blackberry inbox. This started just a few days ago. Sometimes an email will arrive just twice but sometimes up to SEVEN times each separated by three to six minutes. Picking up emails with my outlook client there is only ever one email.
I deleted my email from the Blackberry and recreated it - but with no success. It does not affect all emails either. Two emails arrived overnight - one is duplicated, one is not.
I have a brand new Curve 9300 on Orange. For some reason, my own name appears 6 times in my Contacts list. However, I cannot 'open' my name to view or edit or delete the 6 entries.

I didn't do anything to it but before the speaker would fuzz in and out of call and then it started doing that permanently. Afterwards my phone just started to lock and unlock several times before it ultimately locked me out even after I tried to press the unlock button. I tried pulling out the battery several times and it alleviates the symptoms for about 3 minutes and it goes right back to locking and unlocking again.
I just bought my new Curve 8530 from Sprint a couple weeks ago, it's a great phone and I love it! ( like all of my past blackberries ). There is just one issue that is bothering me, the E key can be unresponsive at times. For example if i hit it with my right thumb, it usually wont key in, but it always will with my left thumb. It's not a HUGE deal, but it is just a little bothersome.

I also keep getting the same few emails multiple times- like 12 times, each with a half hour in between. I thought this was a security issue with my email account so I changed my password, but no such luck. I attempted to find a way to contact Gmail and Blackberry directly, thinking it might be a problem on their ends, but I failed at finding a way to communicate with a Gmail or a Blackberry rep directly.

I have pulled the battery, I have made sure the options for coverage is set to off. I have also uninstalled any apps I don't need. I didn't install anything prior to this happening and it's draining my battery quite quickly. Even when I switch phone off with the red button, the green LED stays. When I pull the battery, the green LED comes on as soon as I put it back in.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWell Basicaly the other night i was using the phone and it suddenly said "Battery Drained, Shutting Down handheld" even though i clearly had at least 50% battery still. Since that point i have not been able to turn on my phone and the LED has been flashing 30 seconds or so while the battery is in or it is connected to my computer. However while i have the device on charge it displays a battery with a lightning bolt through it and then proceeds to a white screen where i can not do anything at all.
I have trying to reinstall the latest OS but that doesnt work, i get to the point where it says "reconnecting to JVM" and then my device's LED starts to flash again and it says that it cant connect to my phone.
When I sync with my gmail calendar, the same event is showing up 100 times in the same time slot.I have tried clearing my google calendar, removing the email address from my phone and then reinstalling it.The event still comes back.I do not use the desktop manager.

When I tried booting it, it did nothing, just flashing it's red light. I tried charging it, but with no succes either. So I have no idea what went wrong.
