I work a schedule where i work one friday but have the next Friday off. in other words I work frday every other week, one week I work 5 days & the next week i work only 4 days. I am looking for a home screen calendar that allows me to select weekly but for every other week. The one that came with my Atrix 2 only gives me the option of weekly, daily, monthly, yearly.

I have a SE X10i with 2.1-update-1. build 2.1.A.0.435 It's synced with a gmail account.
My problem is that week number 1 starts on the 10th of january, and not 3rd. So now, when I write this, it says weeknumber 15, but it is really week 16.
How can I see the whole week with calendar built-in app ? My husband has an ipad and he can see the whole week and the whole year.

I have a Corporate Sync account setup with an Exchange 2010 server, and have Calendar kept insync at all times (Push update). When I create an event on my calendar through Outlook and set it as 'All day', the calendar on the phone always reports it as one day out (e.g. Sept 21 would show on the phone as Sept 20).At first I thought this may be to do with time zones, or day light savings. However for all events that are not designated 'All Day' this problem does not occur, rulling out that idea. Also the time zone for the server and the phone match.I do not have this problem on any other motorola phone (defy, fire) or other non motorola smartphones
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've had my Atrix since May 2011 and 3 times now it has completely wiped my calendar.I've looked through the forums on here but all I can find is the suggestion that syncing to gmail may be the problem. However, I am fairly certain that I have set everything to NOT sync with googlemail etc, as I do not use calendars anywhere but on my phone. Could I have missed something which means my phone is trying to sync with an empty calendar somewhere - but if so I would have expected it to do this more than 3 times in as many months?

View 2 Replies View RelatedOn my Atrix 4G with Motoblur, purchased several months ago, I was able to set up the syncing with my Google calendar. It worked well until about 2 months ago, when the automatic synching just stopped. I WAS able to manually synch, so decided to drop the matter. After several weeks the automatic synching just returned.
Now all calendar synching -- manual as well as automatic -- has stopped for several days. I did the recommended power-off, remove battery, remove SIM card, etc., routine. No effect.
A synched calendar was the number one reason I upgraded to a newer phone model when I purchased the Atrix 4G. I have one Google calendar and one phone. All I want to do is to be able to synch them. Nothing complicated. Is this just a flaw in the Atrix?
i've owned an Atrix now for about a month and very time i save events and appointments to the calender within a couple of days they all dissapear the data gone.

It brings up the configuration screen, but it refuses to add it to my homescreen, even if I try it on an entirely blank homescreen. I use launcherpro, but it hasn't had a recent update, and I have never had an issue before. I have tried restarting to no avail.

View 1 Replies View RelatedPerhaps I'm not doing things correctly, but I've noticed that when I receive a calendar invitation which contains attached documents from my work Exchange account, I can't retrieve the attachments except under specific circumstances.
When I receive an invitation and it is still in my email inbox, there is a link to the attachment. If I click it then before looking at the event details, I can view and save the attachment (I have automatic download of attachments turned off - I need to turn it on and see what happens). In the above case, If I go to view the event in my calendar first and accept the invitation, the item is removed from my inbox and any attachments are no longer accessible. In all cases, events in my calendar with attached documents do not show any attached documents. I've not found a way to get access to attachments that I know are in Calendar entries from work.
Is this pilot error or a "feature" of the email and calendar client apps?
If I create calendar items on my PC using Outlook 2003, they sync to my Atrix running Android 2.3.4 without problems, but if I enter them on my Atrix (selecting the calendar that syncs, not the phone calendar), they never show up in my Outlook 2003 calendar.
View 13 Replies View RelatedI am using Gmail Calendar. I have subscribed to the "Contacts' birthdays and events" calendar using the Gmail web interface. The Android Calendar App lists this calendar as synchronized and visible. Unfortunately, the anniversary, birthday, and other events from the calendar do not display. I purchased the CalenGoo App to troubleshoot this issue. CalenGoo also fails to display the the "Contacts' birthdays and events" content via the Android account. However, if I manually add my same Gmail account to CalenGoo and allow it to sync independently, then the events appear as expected. This indicates that Android is not actually synchronizing the events from this calendar, although the UI reports that it is.
I have tried deleting the Calendar Data from the phone, removing and re-adding the "Contacts' birthdays and events" calendar in Gmail, and re-syncing on Android various times. These actions had no effect.Is anyone with a Motorola Atrix HD seeing this behavior, or getting the contact birthdays and anniversaries to display?
Since the upgrade to ver. 4.1.83, the calendar widget on the home screen just shows 31 and says calendar. It used to sync w/ google calendar and show the current date and upcoming scheduled events. Is it just me or is this a general issue which get addressed in a future update?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have an Exchange account set up on my Atrix and for some reason not all of the events in my Exchange calendar get synced to the phone. I see some of them but not others which is frustrating as I can't view all of my appointments on the phone.
I have the same account setup on another Android phone which uses Cyanogenmod 7 which has the stock calendar and can I view all the events there so it is definitely an issue related to MotoBlur and the Atrix calendar. I've tried removing the Exchange account and readding it and resyncing but it didn't make any difference.
After the 2.3.4 update, the calendar will show the incorrect organizer name for appointments that I have created. This only occurs when there is more than 1 Google account setup on the device.
example: The main account on my device is Joe@gmail.com, the secondary account is Bob@gmail.com. I create an appointment on the Joe@gmail.com calendar. On the Atrix Calendar it will show the appointment organizer as Bob@gmail.com.
If I click "show attendee details", the information is correct.
Here in Norway everithing at school is planned by week. They use the week number for planning events, for example, they call a meeting on wednesday week 35 at 9:00.I will like to know if it is possible to get the week number at the calendar in my i phone.If not, do you know if there is a calendar or agenda application that does.I use a mooleskin agenda. This morning I have made several calender entries and 10 minutes later they are not there. It may well be me not understanding how to retrieve them. So, when you make a calendar entry do you get a choice where it's filed, i.e. phone memory or "cloud". If it's in the cloud is there a way to retrieve them.

I deleted the account, rebooted and readded the account back, however the account name now has a 1 after it (shown at the top of the email list) and the account does not show up under Settings/Accounts. Is it in a different place now? How do I get my contacts and calendar entries back? I am receiving corporate email, but not getting any notifications. Everything else on the phone appears to be working ok so far.
View 5 Replies View RelatedWhen I create an appointment (am using the stock calendar on my Atrix), about 20% of the time it decides to use the Mountain Standard time zone instead of the Centrral Standard time zone that I am in. The time zone is set to Central in both the settings for the phone and the settings for the calendar. Anyone else seeing this problem?
Am running the latest updates and have relatively few apps installed as my phone is used for business instead of personal and fun. Also, am running on an Exchange Server, but since the calendar is setting the time zone for the appointment incorrectly (I check the time zone before even saving the appointment), it's not a prolem with the Exchange Server or with sync.
my BB just went dead two days ago (have it since 20 months). The red light is blinking four times then pause, and then again four times... on and on... I tried to take the battery out, to charge it, USB, but nothing seems to work.
