View 1 RepliesIve had my bold 9790 a few months now, but recently the touch screen facility no longer works and the charger falls out of the bottom of the phone and you have to wrestle with it to take a charge! I went to my provider and they said i must backup my phone< which i have no idea how to do! T mobile just assume every one is a techno genius and their customer service sucks!
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy touch screen is not working correctly. In the middle of a message it keeps jumping to the top of the screen and randomly jumping around and pressing buttons it shouldn't. I have tried restarting the phone a few times and still it persists. I have changed the sensitivity of the touch screen and yet it also continues.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI recently upgrade phone, from 9780 to 9790.Behalf the battery duration that's really poor, I've big problem with touchscreen! In my search in this forum and others related with BB, I couldn't find anything that helps me with the annoying touchscreen.I simply want to disable my touchscreen! I don't want that functionality on my phone. And RIM doesn't have any other equipment similar to that without touchscreen.I know that exist some applications that permit to lock the screen during a call, but what I really want it's to disable the touchscreen. Is there an official or officious way to do that?

View 1 Replies View RelatedWell I got a black berry bold 9790 about a month ago; however, the touch screen stops responding and doesn't work again until I switch the phone off and remove the battery, it doesn't work even I reboot the phone without removing the battery.
View 3 Replies View RelatedIts been just 2 months since the purchase and the touch screen has started acting up. It stops responding to touch and the phone has to be shut, battery taken out, phone restarted and then the touch screen starts responding. This happens atleast once a day and I'm getting fed up of this.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy touch screen suddenly stops working. It will not start working again unless I take the batt out.. this only works for a short while however. Many people seems to be having the same problem, my phone is only a few months old and has not been dropped.
View 1 Replies View Relateduse my blackberry quite a lot and basically what's happened is my blackberry when not charging go's straight to a red bar and turns itself off due to the battery being dead, I have two battery's and tried both and exactly the same thing happened with both battery's. I'm not sure what I can do and my blackberry has gone way past its warranty with the supplier but a friend told me I should still have a year warranty with the blackberry company, I am still paying for the phone as I purchased it at the beginning of the year

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I connect through USB port to recharge, I get a message on the blackberry that says something to the effect: "The device you are connected to is not capable of charging your battery." I am able to charge by connecting directly to the 115 V AC plug but not via computer.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have tried several different chargers and different outlets, same result. I was a M7 user for almost two years and I have never experienced that problem with it (even tried the same chargers on the M7, no problem) and it's quite annoying, to be honest. Although I appreciate the bigger battery and how it lasts longer, I like to use it at night while it's still charging (between the 40 - 70% range) and I find that while it is plugged in, the touch-screen is extremely laggy. It is very noticeable when swiping (it just randomly opens an app), when typing (it keeps opening recent apps), and of course when trying to play a game (it's just completely horrendous). The phone goes back to normal as soon as I plug the charger out.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI usually charge my phone overnight because the battery goes almost dead by the end of the day. I had connected my phone to the charger and tried to use the touch screen, it didnt work to my surprise. I tried to use the hardware buttons, they seemed to be working but all that in vain because when i tried to switch off the phone, i couldn't...!! Because the final screen to confirm the switch off of the phone is a touch command. This is not expected to happen on a device that i paid so much for...
I think there is some problem with the gravity sensor when connecting to the charger, i have seen this only when i connect my phone for charging and when the phone is in a position where the screen is facing the floor tilted towards the right. I have seen this problem 3 times, and would not like to see it happen again.
my xperia touch screen stop responding but all other functions are working properly. i have to put the battery out for many hours to get it back. seems like software issue but how to fix it becoz when touch start working it works properly and i checked it by *#*#service#*#*.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI've had this problem since i got the phone. When it's on the charger, and i need to use it, the touch screen will be very uneven in its responsiveness... Sometimes it will read my gestures and taps, sometimes not.
View 7 Replies View RelatedWhen I connect my phone to a wall charger (provided my Motorola), the touch screen responds rarely (slowly). As soon you disconnect the charger it works fine. I had talked to Motorola specialist over the phone and she provided me with a new charger. However, the problem still persists.
Yesterday, I used a Blackberry charger (with very close voltage and current output) and the phone worked fine.
My touch screen stops working suddenly. To restart I have to remove the battery and place it back. I get following message in the log.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have recently purchased the Bold 9790 (3months ago). Since new-I have been experiencing the problem where the phone hangs and a small clock appears in the center of the screen. While this clock is there, nothing can be done on the phone-it normally lasts for around a minute or two. Once it disappears, the phone again operates as normal, however the clock appears again and I am back at the problem.
View 9 Replies View RelatedMy 5800 touch screen is not responding well like any touch screen should. Compared with my friend's phone and he said there is definite problem with touch. Now is this rectifiable? Or better to go for an exchange? I dont trust Nokia Care because my e72 is still with them for some error which they are not explaning properly. Poor customer service.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've had my bb for about 6 months now. A few days ago, i noticed that my screen started flickering whenever i used the trackpad to scroll through icons on the home screen.Later, I realised that it would suddenly go dim, i.e. the screen would still show the icons but so dim that the screen looks completely dark., at random intevals.Whenever I pressed the screen lock button at the top to blank it and then press it again to reactivate it, it would reactivate but again at a very dim setting.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have tried every thing to make this darn screen work. I have pulled the battery and that works for maybe two days. I have tried back up the phone and that works for maybe two days then nothing. Is there a more permanent fix available? This is a relatively new phone (bought in april last year)
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy 9900 had a blinking light and would not start. my provider gave me the solution to force download the software, my phone works now but the touch screen does not, also I had backed up the phone and upon restore I did not get my apps restored. I had to download App World and when signing in it did not lead me to my previous apps or even the ones that were given free by RIM.
