Its been just 2 months since the purchase and the touch screen has started acting up. It stops responding to touch and the phone has to be shut, battery taken out, phone restarted and then the touch screen starts responding. This happens atleast once a day and I'm getting fed up of this.

I have to do a physical battery pull and then it starts working again. I thought maybe it is a software issue and upgraded to the official 7.0.0.592 yesterday however the problem still remains the same.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThis happens to me every time I use my laptop dock on wifi at home. I use it about 3-4 times a week for about 1-2hrs each time.
After about 30min-1hr of usage the touch pad stops responding. The light is on in the top left hand corner and when I double tap that area the light stays on (normally it goes off to disable the touch pad). After a few seconds of moving my finger around while trying to tap the light, eventually it starts responding, but not everytime. I've had numerous instances where it never started to respond even with the light on. I've had to undock the phone and redock it.
Also I've had issues where the red Motorola logo would not go away and stayed on the screen until I undocked and redocked.
Ive had my bold 9790 a few months now, but recently the touch screen facility no longer works and the charger falls out of the bottom of the phone and you have to wrestle with it to take a charge! I went to my provider and they said i must backup my phone< which i have no idea how to do! T mobile just assume every one is a techno genius and their customer service sucks!
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am facing the same issue on my 5 day old 9900. The touch screen just stopped working on the 2nd day & it has come up since then. I have tried the following to correct the issue but, no success:
1. Cold Reboot (Pull battery when device is on)
2. Simple Reboot (Pull battery when device is OFF)
3. Remove battery then, SIM & SD Card, plug in battery then pull it again & put everything back in
None of these worked, my OS version is v7.0.0.261 Bundle 1346 Platform 5.0.0.464 Should I update my phone software? Each time I try to check for an upgrade it says you have the latest one.
My 5800 touch screen is not responding well like any touch screen should. Compared with my friend's phone and he said there is definite problem with touch. Now is this rectifiable? Or better to go for an exchange? I dont trust Nokia Care because my e72 is still with them for some error which they are not explaning properly. Poor customer service.

It's not a matter of it lagging on waking (which also happens), it flat out won't respond period. I would rather not have to go through getting a replacement already.
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy Blackberry randomly stops responding on different applications, and then i have to hold the menu button and switch to a different application, and i won't be able to use the un-responsive application until the blackberry is given a hard reset. Also during this time, my BBM will mess up, It won't show me peoples display pictures, it will show that their there when im in a conversation or over their name, but as soon as i go onto their profile or enlarge their image it will freeze, it will not let me send or recieve BBM messages during this 'phase' either, I've tried reloading the OS but that won't work either for some reason.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia X3-02. I had a problem with the camera, each time I open it it says "Operation Failed" then goes to standby mode. I tried to restore it to factory settings, didn't work. I connected it to the Ovi Suit to check for updates, is said "There are no updates" and something like "If you are experiencing problems with the current version, you can reinstall it" so I did. I followed the steps, made the backup, waited for a while, then when the reinstall process was done, the touch screen wasn't working anymore, the keypad is working fine, the volume up/down buttons are working, everything is working except the touch screen. Its not responding! I tried to reinstall again. Still the same. I tried to reinstall, without doing a backup.
