Is it possible for me to transfer data from my old device which is saved on my laptop?I no longer have the old device because it was stolen but I do have a back up saved.I have tried to use the switch devices option but I keep getting a message that says,
"reconnect your old device".

View 9 Replies View RelatedI Got a new iPhone today and they set it up in the store using my iCloud accout be it hasn't been updated in a few months so the data was out of date. I'm trying to transfer the data from the old phone to the new one using iTunes but I can't figure out how after doing the initial setup? I haven't really used the phone yet so I dont mind doing a factory reset as long as it won't effect my cell and data ( I don't want to have to go back to the store).

View 3 Replies View RelatedJust about 2 or 3 weeks ago i could use android file transfer just fine to sync my data in my htc one. But now every time i plug in my phone and open android file transfer it says no device found, please plug in your device or restart phone.
When I replug it or restart the phone it says "could not connect to device". I have tried using three different usb cables to attempt to connect but it doesn't work.
The last time i was using android file transfer my sister asked to sync her stuff so i connected her s4 mini and android file transfer said the same thing it said to me. That's wierd coz right before she asked me for her phone to be synced android file transfer was working fine with my phone. I installed samsung kies and synced her data in her phone. How to fix require to uninstall kies or reinstall drivers and restart computer. I have done all the methods and i still can't use android file transfer.
My last BB Bold 9930 took a dip in the river and was never to be found again! I now have a new one and need to "switch devices" without the original device.

When I select Internet mail I am asked to input my BB ID. Something I do not have. I never needed to do this on my old BB.I have been into host routing table and registered the device and got email to say device was registered. I waited 2 hours but still no new emails arrived. I am using an iPhone 5s (iOS 8.1.1) to gather sleep data and am sharing it with the Health app. When I open the Health app on that phone (same Apple ID as iPhone 6) none of the data from other apps and medical ID are present on that phone. Noticed on devices using 8.1.1 version software...When double click home screen if another family member is using safari on another device a screen pops up showing the safari symbol and below it says "sent from and the name of the iPhone". If you try to swipe it up like other screens that pop up when you double tap home screen it does not go away. If you click on it it takes you to website being viewed by the user at that moment. As soon as that user closes out of safari the screen goes away.
