Galaxy S5 :: How To Transfer S Memo Data To Device
Oct 11, 2014
I used the S Memo app on my S3 but I can't find the same app available for the S5. Does it been replaced and what the replacement might be called and whether I can restore data from S Memo back into it? I backed up everything from my S3 using Kies3 so can I selectively restore S Memo into the S5?
I have my phone connected to my computer. I have gone into most of the folders that show up, but none of them appear to contain the notes I made in the memo section. I am very new to using a smart phone.
I have a Blackberry Curve 8310 with a data plan and I recently did an OS upgrade using the update feature on the phone itself. However, after the upgrade I noticed that my memo pad and task data were cleared out which seems odd to me, because it spent a good chunk of time creating a backup, and after the update the core data, communication data, and calendar data remained intact. This is somewhat stressing because I had typed a few ideas out on my phone's memo pad and had not backed them up (slap on the hand for me), and now I no longer have access to them. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know if this backup data might still exist?
I have an HTC Windows mobile and I now have the Samsung S5. I would like to transfer all my contacts to my new phone including photos etc. Is there a straight forward way to transfer all my data?
I have almost 700 memos on my galaxy 6s, How can I export all my memos from my device or the samsung account to my pc? I want to import all my notes to evernote or Google keep.
Is it possible for me to transfer data from my old device which is saved on my laptop?I no longer have the old device because it was stolen but I do have a back up saved.I have tried to use the switch devices option but I keep getting a message that says,
I Got a new iPhone today and they set it up in the store using my iCloud accout be it hasn't been updated in a few months so the data was out of date. I'm trying to transfer the data from the old phone to the new one using iTunes but I can't figure out how after doing the initial setup? I haven't really used the phone yet so I dont mind doing a factory reset as long as it won't effect my cell and data ( I don't want to have to go back to the store).
I know just connect the data cable to computer and transfer data but when i connect data cable to computer it does not show any thing on the computer and not even on the phone.so how should i make my phone able to transfer data to pc.
Just about 2 or 3 weeks ago i could use android file transfer just fine to sync my data in my htc one. But now every time i plug in my phone and open android file transfer it says no device found, please plug in your device or restart phone.
When I replug it or restart the phone it says "could not connect to device". I have tried using three different usb cables to attempt to connect but it doesn't work.
The last time i was using android file transfer my sister asked to sync her stuff so i connected her s4 mini and android file transfer said the same thing it said to me. That's wierd coz right before she asked me for her phone to be synced android file transfer was working fine with my phone. I installed samsung kies and synced her data in her phone. How to fix require to uninstall kies or reinstall drivers and restart computer. I have done all the methods and i still can't use android file transfer.
Currently have an HTC One and already preordered the S5. What's the best way to transfer pics/videos and app data to the S5 when I get it? The apps I'm not too concerned about as I can simply redownload them, however I have like 500 pictures that I'd like transferred over.
I have a 8310 and have loaded the new release. My calendar deleted previous appointments and my memo pad will not open. The memo pad icon is available but will not open. If I use the search application searching for the letter E for the memopad it brings up my 13 entries. I can view/edit these entries. It seems the memo pad application can not find the actual memo entries.
I want to transfer _everything_ from my Galaxy S3 to a new LG G3 (verizon version, btw, not rooted). I know that Lollipop has some ability, but I also want all the apps and app data, including acct passwords, wifi passwords, SMS, MMS, contacts, photos, etc.
I can't figure out why. Using the WiFi connection I sync the S Health app on my S4 to my Samsung account and then sync it on my S6. It remembers my personal biometrics but it doesn't have any record of my workout activity from the past two months. How can I get this information restored on the S6?
Any way to get game data that is stored on my old phone (instead of online...) and I'm really struggling to find a solution. My old phone is a HTC XL and my new phone is the Galaxy S6. Neither phone is rooted. I've tried Helium, Datasync etc with no luck. I can't find the directory in my old phone for the location of my save files. How to move the files across? The game I'm mainly interested in is Immortals: Blood and Glory, I really dont want to have to restart 3 months worth of work...
I've read my Android phone with everything else I need - apps, contacts, drives etc -, just can't find a way to transfer my photos, videos, text messages and all from my Windows phone to the Android.
So my question is; What would be the best way to go about transferring all my data from my Nokia Lumia 925 to my Galaxy S5 or just photos, videos, text messages ?
Where in the menu is located the on off of the Data transfer? In my Hero there was an widget do do this, on the SII I only find the ones for the WIFI,BT and GPS, what kind of widget do you recomend for it?
I did some digging but haven't come up with workable solution yet. What options do I have to transfer BB address book, calendar, memos and pictures to my GS2? The BB no longer has service.
when I plug my S2 into my laptop (Macbook pro) and choose data transI was expecting to see an icon representing the phone show up on the Finder desktop. That's not happening. Instead I'm prompted to "press the home key to quit Samsung Kies" Am I doing something wrong or do I HAVE to open Kies in order to see my phone's memory (32GB SD). My Nokia N8 would just show up on the desktop...not so with the GS2.
PS. Does using the USB invoke Samsung Kies to open up? I'm not seeing anything on my homescreen except the word "Connecting"...and the little dots that indicate the phone is thinking about something,..but nothing ever happens beyond that.

Having great difficulty in transferring data/photos from my Galaxy S II to my laptop. When my S II is plugged in to my laptop, within my laptop, it does not recognise the storage device within the S II, but only acknowledges it as "other devices". So therefore I can not enter into the SII device to transfer etc.
