I have a 8310 and have loaded the new release. My calendar deleted previous appointments and my memo pad will not open. The memo pad icon is available but will not open. If I use the search application searching for the letter E for the memopad it brings up my 13 entries. I can view/edit these entries. It seems the memo pad application can not find the actual memo entries.

I used the S Memo app on my S3 but I can't find the same app available for the S5. Does it been replaced and what the replacement might be called and whether I can restore data from S Memo back into it? I backed up everything from my S3 using Kies3 so can I selectively restore S Memo into the S5?
I have a Blackberry Curve 8310 with a data plan and I recently did an OS upgrade using the update feature on the phone itself. However, after the upgrade I noticed that my memo pad and task data were cleared out which seems odd to me, because it spent a good chunk of time creating a backup, and after the update the core data, communication data, and calendar data remained intact. This is somewhat stressing because I had typed a few ideas out on my phone's memo pad and had not backed them up (slap on the hand for me), and now I no longer have access to them. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know if this backup data might still exist?
I have a brand new Blackberry Bold 9700 - just started it up. I set up synchronization with Outlook and everything went smoothly. The Device Manager log shows that Memo Pad data was transferred to the device. But I cannot find the Memo Pad Icon (or the Task icon or the Search Icon...) I've looked everywhere.
On connecting the 9700 to the device manager on my laptop, the opening screen is asking me for a password before I can access the manager its self !
I have entered the password that unlocks my keypad to make a call, but its telling me its incorrect ? Other than the keypad access code which is 6 digits I have not entered any other code " infact its a new phone and Im still trying to get my head around it,
Ive called the service provider and they cant help and direct me to the Blackberry website ! Ive looked throughout the site and as yet havent come up with any thing.
Is there anyway on kitkat 4.4.2 to root the phone without opening the bootloader or setting my device on USM (USB Mass STorage)?I think not as I'm searching on google since 2 days but still maybe some genius around here has something for me ?I need to do some recovery on my device but I can't because I'm not root.
I have a ton of Memo Pad entries and can't figure out how to get them from my Storm, which I'll be turning in soon for a new model, to my PC. Or even my media card.
This may be a wrong question but I am confused that how to view the saved memos later (may be after few months) when you need to recall them. What I am doing is I made a new memo entry in June(for registering a service) and now I want to recall that on which day I did that certain task, for which I have to scan through each and every date cause there are lots dates marked with aniversaries, meeting requests, etc. Is there any solution??
How to open the ''memo pad'' on my laptop? I want to able to work with/Print/etcetera the information I have in the memo pad of my BB storm 9530....When I conect my terminal to the laptop or using the sync program I' not able to reach the memo pad info anywhere.
When i write a note in the memo pad- save it- its not there. When i go to options it is showing the number of the entries but no notes. What can i do? Is there any update for that?
My iphone was synced with my previous computer, which is on strike now.
So I bought a new computer. But when I sync my iphone in itune, the itune library only allow iphone to sync with one computer. If I sync with the new computer, the itune only allow me to erase iphone and replace with musics in the new computer!!!
I have an important voice memo saved in iphone, which is too large to be email(iphone doesn't allow me to email it).
And I can not save it in the new computer because itune wants to erase it if sync.
I stupidly deleted a really important memo pad file, and i really need it back now. Does anyone know if the file will still exsist somewhere in the phone? or do i have to take it to a shop to get it back?
I just switched from a 8310 to a 8900 and then I downgraded to OS v5.0.0.411 because my standby button would not work. What has happened is that I have lost my memo pad completely.and I have tried everything mentioned by anyone on the various sites.I tried the app loader, but the memo pad application does not show up.I tried showing all apps and looked in each folder, but it is not there,Checked in the applications list on the phone and its not there ,even did the "press the D button" after changing the call from home screen thing.the memo pad is so very important for me and I really want to get it installed asap
So i have just received my Galaxy S6 G920F, Running Uk's "BTU" Firmware with the latest software update, and i can't seem to find the Memo widget anywhere.
I updated my new VZW 8530 to the new 508 OS and just realized that the memo pad & help apps are missing. Oh, and now I see docs to go is gone as well. What's up? Docs to go should be available on the app store, but how do I get the memo pad back?
Well, I got my blackberry curve 8330 reinstalled today after having everything wipe out a few days ago. Really gotta start from square one again...very annoying...the only thing is I do not have my memo and task app on my screen. Is there a website to download this? When I first got the phone, these apps were there so I'm just surprised that their not there now. I had downloaded bbm and other apps that were not there and that was not a problem.
Basically I have just lost my job and have to keep a real close eye on money. So I am writing everything down as a memo on my BB.Is there a way to set this memo as a home screen so I am always concious of what I am spending? lol. When I had a Sony Erricson many moons ago you could set a memo as home screen and you could still see the picture I had set as the home screen but you could faintly see the text over the image if that makes sense?
I am hesitant to change one of the Shortcut Keys on the side to Memo Pad because I use them a lot for camera and calendar.
Had quite a few issues after upgrading my BB to OS4.5, just when I thought everything is working correctly, the Memo Pad icon disappeared. It is neither hidden nor in any folder, I checked everywhere. The funny thing is, it is still syncing with Lotus Notes, so it's hidden somewhere. Wiped BB clean twice, and it will be back; however, once I installed the third party applications, WorldMate, Google Map, and CallingCardDialer, the Memo Pad disappeared again. I could do a Search and find the memo, but just can't find the icon.
I recorded things in my memo pad and task manager I then had a software upgrade done on the phone and when I searched for these folders they are nowhere to b found !!!! I'm very frustrated how do I get these folders to appear again surely they can just disappear ???
I updated my Blackberry Tour 9630 today via the BB Desktop Manager for Macs. It backed up and restored most of my data correctly except for my MemoPad and 3rd party applications. When I go to the app loader it only lists the 3rd party apps and not the MemoPad or any other apps on my phone. Anyone have a suggestion?
