BB Bold :: Data Transfer Icon In Top Right Corner Stuck?
Aug 26, 2012So the little square data transfer icon in the top right corner is stuck and doesn't disappear, I've tried a battery pull and turning network on/off.

BB Bold :: Icon On The Top Right Corner Of Home Screen?
May 29, 2012I have a Blackberry Bold 9780 and yesterday i tried connecting to a WiFi network at home. I was able to connect to the WiFi network successfully however there appeared a BB icon on the top right hand corner of the home screen next to the WiFi icon. it is not there always even when the Wifi is on, it appears sometimes and goes off and then again comes back. This is the first time am seeing this icon, can anyone let me know what is this.Also, when my Wifi is active, how do i ensure that whatever i browse is done using the WiFi and not the data service.

I was able to transfer contacts successfully... and the Text Message option does appear when I pair my iPhone, but is says "0 Found," quite the contrary from what is actually on the phone. Since it seems like the transfer app wants to work, any trick to make it happen.

Aug 4, 2012This is the problem that I have been facing since I have purchased this phone(2years now). I am not using nokia push mail or even nokia mails at all. I have selected packet data Connection setting as "When Needed".
This happens every time I connect to the internet using mobile network and then remains there forever until either I restart Phone or go to offline mode. This is so annoying because it is not using any data though it is there.
There is a dotted lines below the E sign as you can see in the attachment.

Mar 21, 2012I got the notification on my phone telling me to update so I clicked yes, it started backing up my data (or so the screen says) but then got stuck at 11% for AGES. I tried to exit out of it or do anything but it wouldn't let me so I removed the battery, but then when it rebooted it just went back to the 'backing up your data' screen, and is now stuck at 7%. I tried removing the battery again and leaving it for a while but still no luck.

It's an AT&T phone and their logo is right in the middle of it. Specifically, mine are " 120 1/6" I'm was thinking 120 contacts and 1 of 6 ongoing converstations or something to that effect, but even when I close them out...it still show 1/6. What exactly is this trying to tell me? Also, when powering down the phone what is the difference in the two options? 1 is "turn off" the othe is "full power down" or something like that. What is the difference? I want my phone off to save battery, but I want my alarm to go off in the morning. Which reminds me, what is "Standby Mode"? Noticed that holding the mute button a few seconds put the device into that mode.

Feb 28, 2015Since 2/23, I have had massive data usage at random times. 1GB here and there, sometimes in the middle of the night.My Data Sense shows that the "Restore data" app has used 8.17 GB in the last two days. All of my other apps are using negligible amounts of data.What is the "Restore data" app, and how do I tell it to stop using so much data?
One additional bit of info: 2/23 was also the date that the Microsoft Health app updated. I use a MS Band. It seems like there may have been some type of update pending on the band. When I called Verizon's tech support, they said that the pending update might have something to do with the massive data usage. We completed the update to the Band, and they said to give it another day to see if the data usage continues. What this "Restore data" app is, it doesn't sound like it has anything to do with the Band.
