X10 min pro:When phone is in airplane mode the status bar shows a sim icon with a small red cross in top right corner, when airplane mode is off it dissapears and the normal signal strength bars appear. If I take out the sim card and put into airplane mode the icon does not appear. What does the icon mean - is it normal for it to be there when in airplane mode?
View 1 Replieswhen I'm in sms application, there are small numbers that appear in the upper left corner of the device. Specifically, mine are " 120 1/6" I'm was thinking 120 contacts and 1 of 6 ongoing converstations or something to that effect, but even when I close them out...it still show 1/6. What exactly is this trying to tell me? Also, when powering down the phone what is the difference in the two options? 1 is "turn off" the othe is "full power down" or something like that. What is the difference? I want my phone off to save battery, but I want my alarm to go off in the morning. Which reminds me, what is "Standby Mode"? Noticed that holding the mute button a few seconds put the device into that mode.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have an icon that I can find nothing about. I have an xperia play and right below the clock in the upper right hand corner is a flashing icon that looks like a gear. It's an AT&T phone and their logo is right in the middle of it. I contacted them first and their tech support is stumped as well and suggested that I come here but I can find nothing on this site either. Nothing in any video I've seen or in the manual. Tried pushing it, nothing happens.

I plugged it in - to the wall - to charge earlier today and at that point it seemed fine - when I went back to check it, though, the screen was blank with a red light. I've tried turning it on, but the loading screen comes up, loads a tiny part of the way, and then a blank white screen appears, then I get an icon of a battery with a red cross through it.

I was able to connect to the WiFi network successfully however there appeared a BB icon on the top right hand corner of the home screen next to the WiFi icon. it is not there always even when the Wifi is on, it appears sometimes and goes off and then again comes back. This is the first time am seeing this icon, can anyone let me know what is this.Also, when my Wifi is active, how do i ensure that whatever i browse is done using the WiFi and not the data service.

View 4 Replies View RelatedThis is the problem that I have been facing since I have purchased this phone(2years now). I am not using nokia push mail or even nokia mails at all. I have selected packet data Connection setting as "When Needed".
This happens every time I connect to the internet using mobile network and then remains there forever until either I restart Phone or go to offline mode. This is so annoying because it is not using any data though it is there.

I found a thread that suggested that I make sure I check all my running apps, which I did and shut down all but the defaults and the icon would still pop up. Not able to send any e mails either. Thought too many stored mails may be the problem but device won't now allow me to delete. Battery also running low after just a few hours,even after fully charging.
