For the last few days I have a small icon in the status (top) area with the shape of an envelope seen from the stamp side. (screenshots attached) I don't know what it means... I have searched manuals and references from different phones without luck (I got very dissapointed with the information regarding this matter)

I'v had my Xperia play for exactly a month, today, and just yesterday night I've encountered a problem where about 2/3s down from the top of the screen there a small area from the left side to the right side of the touch screen that doesn't respond. I can't use my Swype feature, and when I switch to the regular Android keyboard I can't hit the "O"button because of it's location (Area where the screen doesn't respond when its vertical or horizontal).
I've been doing some internet hunting and the closest name I've gotten close to is "dead zone"
The Upgrade to Belle was nice (except for lost applications and the annoying fact, that WiFi is now "always-on"), but what bothers me most is, that the phone feels it necessary to show, that I'm using line 1 on the top status bar. I can understand that it's important to know, if I would be using line 2 accidentially, but since line 1 is the default, I don't want to know about it. So how do I get rid of this ugly "1" on top? (see screenshot)

I don't know how it was added as I want to see if I can add it to my iPad Mail

I own a Blackberry 9300 and recently I have had this weird looking icon in my notification area. It looks like some sort of sundial (the clock replacement we used when we did not have clocks) with a red star and 1 written before it. Tried every app, message, etc. etc. but to no avail. I would upload the picture (I have munched the screen using an app), were it not for my knowledge of how to upload pictures on.
The icon O_O keeps appearing on my phone next to the battery status icon. I have no messages, no emails, nothing. It will not go away. What is it and how can I get it to go away. There is nothing in the users manual and nothing on line about this.

Lately (last week or 2) I get the new message icon displayed, but when I open my messages folder the red asterick goes away but the envolpe icon still is there and the count goes up. Currently it says 4 but I do not have any unread emails, nor any unread facebook messages. The only way to 'reset' this is a battrr pull. But then it starts generating again. I just updated 4.6.1.319 hoping this would help but sstill the same problems. If any other info is needed please let me know.

Now the amazon icon is stuck in the upper left part of the phone in the "notification" area. How do you get rid of this. I even went back and downloaded the app again then deleted it. View 2 Replies View RelatedI got a Galaxy S6 Edge a couple of weeks ago. Everything was as it should be until a few days ago. The phone icon went missing and it's not listed with in the apps area/drawer. However, when I check under Application Manager, its shows three phone applications which seem to be dupes. They can't be uninstalled or disabled. I've done force close and restarted the phone but no luck. I'm using Nova Launcher. I just got the the phone set-up the way I wanted so the the thought of a factory reset makes me queasy.

I've tried removing the battery putting it back in, I've tried 3 chargers, but the battery just continued to drain until it finally went into red. I found a thread that suggested that I make sure I check all my running apps, which I did and shut down all but the defaults and the icon would still pop up. Not able to send any e mails either. Thought too many stored mails may be the problem but device won't now allow me to delete. View 8 Replies View RelatedI have this icon that wont go away dont know what it is for, just a app icon that says "Waiting" below it, never downloads anything. When I go to App Store > Purchased > all my apps are already installed so no clue what it is. It will go away briefly but then come back its very strange. I have tried turning off phone, hard resetting phone. Then even hold down to see if let delete it but when all the other icons wiggle this one doesn't have the x to delete.
