It's an arrow pointing down, with a horizontal line under it. does anyone know what it means? does it have something to do with the fact that the phone sort of died after it appeared? (won't turn on after I turned it off)
View 6 RepliesIn the older versions the data enabled/disabled icon disappeared every time I cleaned the notifications on the status bar, but after updating to ICS it's stuck. Only changes from enbled to disabled, and touching on it opens the settings, but there aren't any options to turn it off or hide it. Or I'm missing the option somewhere?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI need to check the SIM lock status on my phone, but I'm having problems. When I try to do this I ensure the phone's keyboard is locked i.e. the screen is lit and the slider with a lock on the left and the speaker on the right is on. I have wallpaper on the home screen and the clock is displayed. I have tried this with the screen unlit, I have tried this in safe mode, I have tried this with the old sim in, with the new sim in, I have tried this in safe mode - everything. If the power lock button is touched it locks and the screen darkens, hit it again the screen lights no problem. However it does power down again very quickly if no buttons are touched tried to set this for the longest time possible - makes no difference. At present I'm running Android 2.1. which I upgraded to last month.

I noticed the smart window function doesn't work and realised that the phone doesn't display the NFC icon in the status bar. I've tried activating NFC from both the pull-down menu and the settings and in both the option lights up as if it were enabled, but the icon does not appear and the phone doesn't react to the tag on the cover.

Sometimes when I activate my phone, there is no wifi icon at the top on the status bar, then after a few minutes it appears. Does the wifi connection on the phone turn off after a time idle? or is my phone keep losing connection? And also if it is losing connection has anyone else had this problem?

Since I use Facebook App for Android on my Xperia Pro for posting status message, I never see that Xperia Brand appears on status message indicator on the bottom of the status, e.g. 1 minute ago via Xperia. Whereas, other Xperia smartphones such as Arc, Mini Pro, etc, no problem was found (the brand appears).

Another problem, I want to update to OS 5.0 and I cannot clear enough of the Application memory off of the BB to do so. View 9 Replies View RelatedMy wife's x10 mini is having issue with it's camera button or icon. Whenever the camera icon is tapped or camera button is pressed, it will turn off the phone. After the manually turning On the phone again, it will work again including the camera icon or button. But, after a while, it will be like that again, especially when the camera is not used for a while. The phone have been updated with latest software using SE PC Companion. I even tried to use repair to update it again. Same problem.
