Oct 13, 2011i m using sony erricson xperia mini pro. when i turn on Wi-Fi , i cant see Wi-Fi status in status bar at upperside. what may be the problem?

Mar 3, 2015My wifi symbol in he status bar constantly has flashing arrows, one on the right hand side and one on the left hand side. I would expect this if the phone was constantly downloading email or social network feeds but when I try to load those I get the message "Could not open connection to server" when attempting to access e-mails as well as this message when attempting to load news feed on Facebook "Error loading news feed" ....

Jun 28, 2011when i go to settings>applications>manage applications, i see lots of applications in the list that are not in the menu like application installer service and voice dialer.ok, so i'll list the applications that are in my menu. album, camera, alarm, calendar, settings, calculator, timer, notes, facebook, fm radio, Internet, playnow, video, google talk, browser, gmail, trackid, e-mail, stopwatch, timescape, user guide, neoreader, backup and restore, user support, sync, 2 roadsync's, maps, sim toolkit and some default games.so, these are the applications in my menu. please tell me if something's wrong with my phone.

Jan 5, 2015I've recently been getting an icon in my HTC One M8's status bar, which is sort of like a pause symbol in a speech bubble. I initially thought it may have been the sleep mode function which can detect when you aren't using the phone so it turns off the data connection, but I turned that off and the symbol still appears.
It only appears for a few seconds when I unlock the phone and then it disappears, so it took loads of attempts to even get this screenshot. Ignore the other icons in the status bar, I've just got my phone plugged in to my PC. The Icon does seem to apear only when the phone is charging, either plugged into my PC or the mains. The symbol I'm confused about is the very top left symbol.

Jul 13, 2011I need to check the SIM lock status on my phone, but I'm having problems. When I try to do this I ensure the phone's keyboard is locked i.e. the screen is lit and the slider with a lock on the left and the speaker on the right is on. I have wallpaper on the home screen and the clock is displayed. I have tried this with the screen unlit, I have tried this in safe mode, I have tried this with the old sim in, with the new sim in, I have tried this in safe mode - everything. If the power lock button is touched it locks and the screen darkens, hit it again the screen lights no problem. However it does power down again very quickly if no buttons are touched tried to set this for the longest time possible - makes no difference. At present I'm running Android 2.1. which I upgraded to last month.

Since I use Facebook App for Android on my Xperia Pro for posting status message, I never see that Xperia Brand appears on status message indicator on the bottom of the status, e.g. 1 minute ago via Xperia. Problem is that after several minutes of using internet on it for example wifi, it just disconnects from internet. Arrow on wifi symbol is still showing that it's sending something but internet is gone, i have the same problem with 3g too. After couple of seconds it reconnects, or if I restart wifi really fast internet is still on. Is it possible that it happened after i dropped it few times when I moved out.

It looks like the voice mail symbol 0_0 but is much smaller & has 2 dots over it. it says 10 to the left, assuming 10 new whatever. The voice mail symbol was next to it when I first used my phone today (so it's clearly not the voice mail), but went away when I set up my new voice mail for the first time (I am using it with a foreign carrier while out of the country for a few months). there are no voice mail messages.
The symbol is not listed in the user guides/keys from BB. I couldn't find any solutions on this forum yet either. I went through every program & menu item & there are no unread messages of any kind.
Xperia Mini/pro :: Data Enabled Icon Doesn't Go From The Status Bar?
Oct 21, 2011In the older versions the data enabled/disabled icon disappeared every time I cleaned the notifications on the status bar, but after updating to ICS it's stuck. Only changes from enbled to disabled, and touching on it opens the settings, but there aren't any options to turn it off or hide it. Or I'm missing the option somewhere?
