My son is using the Curve 8900 (ver 5.0.0.411). His status messages on BBM can never be seen by anyone. I have removed the battery and restarted many times but it's made no difference at all..

I can receieve my gmail messages on my phone no problem. My gmail account login information is correct on the phone.
I've tried searching for this problem but what I find always seems to be related to enterprise configurations using an Exchange Server and the fix was for the Exchange server. That doesn't fit my scenario.
My new contacts display pictures are not visible on my phone but are on other people"s phones. I can still see the old one"s though

Before I left, my gave my bb 8530 to a friend. When I got to Ghana, I mistakenly restored my contact list using email, so it automatically removed my friend's bbm data and now she has lost her contacts.Initially, her bbm contacts appeared on my blackberry messenger contacts so I decided to back up my files remotely. Nothing happened and I later backed up locally using my saved back up list for last month then it was restored. This morning, I got a few bbm request that were her contacts.

i remember using APP SETTINGS xposed app on previous android versions on my Note 2. But this is not working on my nexus 6P.
I don't want the message content to be shown in notification bar. Any possibility.
Also i am using TrueMesssenger sms app which is displaying PEEK or headsup notifications even after turning off the PEEK option from app info.
Many names in the address book not showing up. Hence, when I get a call or make one, the name doesn't come up with the number. After the call, the number with the name is visible in call log as outgoing or incoming or missed. In the database details it shows my address book having 238 numbers (these are the numbers currently visible). So how is it that the names are visible in the log and not in the address book and also not visible during a call.

The intensity of the spot changes it depends at which angle I am reading the text, etc. (well, this is rather obvious, I guess). I tried to reboot the device by removing the battery, it didn't help.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a bb curve 8300 from sprint and for 4 times in a row with two phones, i have an error message that pops up after taking out the battery. every time i get it the sprint store resets the phone and wipes all my contacts and calendar entries. this is getting very frustrating and making me want to get rid of my blackberry even though i like it a lot. once i get the error message is says resent under it and if you press it, it looks like its starting up again but then the error message comes up and that it. it just does it over and over again.

my daughter has the curve 8520 and today when she turned the phone on the status loading bar gets to 3 quarters full and then freezes and cant do nothing....ive tried the battery pull and the soft reset with alt control and delete buttons and still no joy it still does the same so not only do i have a phone that cant now be used i have a moody 13 yr old thats not got her blackberry.
