Mar 22, 2010I am facing a problem when I capture a picture/video with my new Nokia 5233 phone I bought yesterday.
1. When I try to capture a video, nothing is visible on the phone screen. I click on Record button and the shooting starts and then I click on it again and it stops. But I when it tries save the video it gives an error "Unexpected error occurred. Please restart your phone".
2. I reboot the phone. But I face the same problem. I face the same problem while capturing pictures.
I have tried following as a measure to solve the problem but no success till now:
1. Reboot the phone: tried it more than 20 times. Does not work
2. Soft Restart: Removed the battery for 1 minute and powered the phone back. Does not work
3. Restore Factory Settings: Restored the phone to factory settings. Does not work.
4. I checked my firmware version. Its 12.1.089, RM-625. I think no firmware upgrade is available at present
Please advise what steps should I follow to cure the problem.
Please also let me know in case you are facing a similar problem with your device.

After the call, the number with the name is visible in call log as outgoing or incoming or missed. In the database details it shows my address book having 238 numbers (these are the numbers currently visible). So how is it that the names are visible in the log and not in the address book and also not visible during a call.

I took backup of contacts on sim card. after installing new memory card i imported my contacts back to phone and synced facebook once again with my phone contacts. This time they got synced too but their facebook profile pics are not becoming my contact pictures. I also tried enabling facebook inside xperia but still it didn't worked. I want to get them done as quickly as possible.

Mar 23, 2011I have a Torch 9850 and when I used to send pics to a friend through BBM they would get the option to preview, save or cancel; in turn, I would receive the same option. When I clicked "save" it would download the full 1-2MB version of the pic in BBM, saving it to my picture folder. Yesterday they bought the same phone (Torch 9850) and now when either of us send a pic, neither of us have the option or are given the opportunity to download the actual picture file?!? We simply get a low quality 30KB image with no option other than to go to the BB file menu and click "save" which saves not the full high quality image, but the 30kb one we just received.
