BB Storm :: 9550 - Unknown Status Symbol (Looks Like Voicemail) On Screen

I have a new symbol on my screen that I cannot identify. It looks like the voicemail symbol 0_0 but is much smaller & has 2 dots over it. It says 10 to the left, assuming 10 new whatever. The voicemail symbol was next to it when I first used my phone today (so it's clearly not the voicemail), but went away when I set up my new voicemail for the first time (I am using it with a foreign carrier while out of the country for a few months). There are no voicemail messages. The symbol is not listed in the user guides/keys from BB. I went through every program & menu item & there are no unread messages of any kind.

I've recently got a symbol appear on the status bar next to the signal strength (see picture via link below), the symbol is a picture with a red arrow bouncing off.

I purchased an unlocked Telus Storm 2 - 9550. Currently using this phone on the Rogers network. Phone works great, but caller id does not fully work. If someone calls me on a land line the caller id works great and name appears as in my contact list. If someone calls me on a cell phone I get unknown number. I have tried battery pull and tried changing encryption or the smart dialing settings.

Had this weird symbol appear on my phone in the left hand side down where the bbm new message symbol appears its like an orage/yellow phone with an arrow pointing up? never had it appear before just wondering what it was, couldnt find an explantion online or in the handbook?

I have an icon at the top of the screen next to the bluetooth one that I don't recognize. It's an @ symbol with a little + symbol in the top left quadrant of the circular bit diametrically opposite the tail on the a. It is there all the time.

It's a 2 with a circle to the right of it. Inside of the circle looks like a little arrowhead & there is what looks like the red asterik looking logo that appears when you have a new text/e-mail.

I've recently been getting an icon in my HTC One M8's status bar, which is sort of like a pause symbol in a speech bubble. I initially thought it may have been the sleep mode function which can detect when you aren't using the phone so it turns off the data connection, but I turned that off and the symbol still appears.
It only appears for a few seconds when I unlock the phone and then it disappears, so it took loads of attempts to even get this screenshot. Ignore the other icons in the status bar, I've just got my phone plugged in to my PC. The Icon does seem to apear only when the phone is charging, either plugged into my PC or the mains. The symbol I'm confused about is the very top left symbol.

my ringer and other sounds are not working even though i did not change any settings. I have already gone into settings, sounds and checked to see that ringer and alerts change with buttons is on and at the max volume but still doesn't make any sounds.

Just got a storm 9500, read everything i can about it but a icon has appeared that I can’t find anywhere and its bugging me. It looks like a small blue peach bubble on the top of the screen just under the date and a number next to it, i get that it’s not the new message icon, it seems to be a counter of some kind I think, I cleared all the messages i can find but it’s still there! Any help would be appreciated!

When he goes on to the clock application, or bedside mode, an unknown red symbol comes up, with 09:00 next to it. I'm guessing its some sort of alarm or alert but what is it and how do I get rid of it?

My screen on my storm 9550 wont turn on the screen just stay black but some time it come on for a second and im able to press the SMS then it freezes three line pop ups then turns white or grey then back black but when I press the sleep button on the top of the phone the lights for the (phone, menu, back, and hang up) light up but the screen still black you can some time seen my screen at night or when you outside but the screen stays black and you can't do any thing.

As of recently, my tour had turned off one day. The screen said technical support required, bring to your provider, or something to that effect. Anyway, the phone was fixed, everything wiped however. Ever since then, a new strange Grey symbol is at the top of my screen, and I have no idea what is means. It is on my home screen, directly between the time and battery life symbols, so basically it is to the left. It looks like a symbol of a mini blackberry with a tiny little pinkish square sticking out of the side of the left side of the phone symbol.

I have a slight problemo. This symbol randomly appeared and now i cannnot recieve or make calls. I have looked for the symbol in the manuals and its unheard of so far. haha. Its a yellow fone with a symbol 1 and a arrow pointing at the 1, in a almost lightning pattern, It is on my main screne as well as whenim dialing a number it is in the line 1 bar above the dialpad.

I have looked through the forum and been searching online but can not find out what this new symbol is on y notifications on my BB 9800.When I click on it, it only brings up my calendar/emails etc nothing new. It is a light blue symbol, with a loop at the back! I have a picture but cannot work out how to put on here.

I have a used BlackBerry Storm2 9550. There is a small issue with the touch screen digitizer, and replacing the digitizer will fix the problem. But the technician said thet, he can't replace the digitizer without replacing the whole LCD screen, as the both LCD screen and digitizer comes as a one unit. But on eBay I saw that some sellers sells the digitizer without the LCD screen.
Is it true? My LCD screen works properly. Can't I replace the touch screen digitizer, without replacing my LCD screen.

My wifi symbol in he status bar constantly has flashing arrows, one on the right hand side and one on the left hand side. I would expect this if the phone was constantly downloading email or social network feeds but when I try to load those I get the message "Could not open connection to server" when attempting to access e-mails as well as this message when attempting to load news feed on Facebook "Error loading news feed" ....

I have my 9550 set for single row view on my home page.I'll look my screen and holster the BB, now when I view my BB after its been holstered...Rather than it being in the single row view as I have it set, the screen is displaying an icon view with the last used highlighted...How can I get my BB to default back to the single row view ?

I have been around and around with customer service on this- the buttons on lower right hand corner of my phon (including the red button and return button) do not work. I have pulled the battery repeatedly, and wiped the phone, all of which make it work just fine for an hour or so before the problem returns. Customer service insists the problem is related to the data in my phone (?) which is ridiculous. They keep encouraging me to upgrade, but I've not had the phone for a year

I just received my new storm 2 after replacing the first because the screen wouldn't click in the corner. I made sure I got one with a march 5th branding so I had the updated screen. Earlier today the send, Menu, Return, and End keys plus the screen right next to the started this "TINKing" noise. The other side still "clicks".

I have a storm 2 9550 on MTS Mobility running v5.0.0.517. I cannot get app world to work anymore on my phone. I have tried the suggestions on the boards and still have no luck. App world installs but when I start it it just stays on the loading screen when I try to start it.

I am desperate for some kind of help or advice, my bb storm 2 9550 screen is not responding, i can't get to access any of my applications on the phone. the only thing that works is the power on n off button, i tried taking the battery out n even reloading the phone but nothing works. i am missin all my calls, can;t get to read my messages or mails and this is driving me nuts. i live in the caribbean, the phone was bought in the u.s, my carrier presently is GT&T but in the u.s it works with Verizon wireless.

The icon is near the Wi-Fi on the status bar, is like a sim drawing with dots on it. It is not the "no sim card..." it is similar to a storage card icon...
