Had this weird symbol appear on my phone in the left hand side down where the bbm new message symbol appears its like an orage/yellow phone with an arrow pointing up? never had it appear before just wondering what it was, couldnt find an explantion online or in the handbook?
View 3 RepliesI've had the Torch since the release date and fortunately I haven't had any major issues with my device, however I've noticed that there is a tiny gap between the lower left side of the bezel and the device's body. It never really caught my attention until I started typing a lot on the physical keyboard. Basically when ever my left thumb presses down on the lower left side of the bezel I notice that it slightly moves up and down and creates a soft click noise. I'm just concerned that the bezel may get worse over time. The right side of the bezel is perfectly snug against the rest of the phone but it's just the left side of the bezel that seems very slightly elevated from the phone's frame. Has anyone else noticed this on their torch?

I have an icon at the top of the screen next to the bluetooth one that I don't recognize. It's an @ symbol with a little + symbol in the top left quadrant of the circular bit diametrically opposite the tail on the a. It is there all the time.

View 1 Replies View RelatedGot a problem with my 5800 - just today, the touch screen has started being odd. It sometimes works perfectly but then i try and press a button on the left hand side of the screen and it chooses the one at the right-hand side. This obviously makes everything very difficult! Any ideas as to why this might be/how I could repair it? I've tried the touch screen calibration about 10 times, it sorts it out for about a minute.I can send it to Nokia to replace but I could really do without sending my phone away

It prevents to type e.g. Q and A.Diagnostics also confirms the problem when the touch test is being used.I have tried to boot many times with no effect. What should I do?
View 1 Replies View RelatedRecently i bought a BB Bold 9700 and it was working just fine until one day a white stripe appeared on the left side of my screen. This didnt bother me so much. A couple of days later another stripe appeared; this was when i started to be worried. I looked for a solution online and i tried pressing on it and then clicking the "p" key, i've tried pulling the battery, and i've tried simply resetting it. I have never dropped this phone or gotten it wet. I did get a private screen for it and the stripe appeared after i got it so that might have something to do with it. Now there are 2 stripes most of the time but sometimes it switches to 1.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have bought my Z3 just 2 weeks ago and already having problems with it, actually had screen issue on 2nd day of purchase but it became alright after a restart and phone worked properly, now today I can see black lines running across left side of the screen after several restarts and PC companion repair, screen is working fine though it flickers from time to time also the left side touch isnt working! I feel some connector is loose inside my phone or might be some bigger problem? I'm not sure myself.
Its  been only 2 weeks, such an expensive phone and i'm already experiencing problems also my phone has not been dropped or been subjected to water.
Over the past couple of months, my iPhone 3GS has had dead spots on the left side of the screen, preventing me from using the r, d and x keys, the number 4 and the semi colon and comma keys.Just a note; I can't put my phone to sleep or turn off as my lock button isn't working, so I'm using the AssistiveTouch settings.

View 12 Replies View RelatedI have a new symbol on my screen that I cannot identify. It looks like the voicemail symbol 0_0 but is much smaller & has 2 dots over it. It says 10 to the left, assuming 10 new whatever. The voicemail symbol was next to it when I first used my phone today (so it's clearly not the voicemail), but went away when I set up my new voicemail for the first time (I am using it with a foreign carrier while out of the country for a few months). There are no voicemail messages. The symbol is not listed in the user guides/keys from BB. I went through every program & menu item & there are no unread messages of any kind.

I can access all of my icons in the upper potion and the browser icon as well,but anything in the bottom row (main icons) except for safari are all unresponsive. when my keyboard comes up, I can use most of the keys except in the lower left corner. This has me not being able to use my phone and text functions except with Siri.

As you see on pic widgets are moved from left side more then from right,and that is maximum size because I was trying resize more but that's is max what I can set.
