It's a circle with 2 dashes in it in the top left corner (not on the right!) Running Marshmallow on a Nexus 5 with Nova Prime.
I assume it's from a fairly recent app download but I can't figure out which one and I have lots, do not want to delete them all trying to find out....

I assume it's from a recent app but have uninstalled several and can't figure it out. It's a Nexus 5 with Marshmallow and Nova, not rooted. (see screenshot)

May 14, 2010I have a new symbol on my screen that I cannot identify. It looks like the voice mail symbol 0_0 but is much smaller & has 2 dots over it. it says 10 to the left, assuming 10 new whatever. The voice mail symbol was next to it when I first used my phone today (so it's clearly not the voice mail), but went away when I set up my new voice mail for the first time (I am using it with a foreign carrier while out of the country for a few months). there are no voice mail messages.
The symbol is not listed in the user guides/keys from BB. I couldn't find any solutions on this forum yet either. I went through every program & menu item & there are no unread messages of any kind.

Mar 12, 2012I have this icon that wont go away dont know what it is for, just a app icon that says "Waiting" below it, never downloads anything. When I go to App Store > Purchased > all my apps are already installed so no clue what it is. It will go away briefly but then come back its very strange. I have tried turning off phone, hard resetting phone. Then even hold down to see if let delete it but when all the other icons wiggle this one doesn't have the x to delete.

Jan 25, 2012an unknown icon that is in my status bar on my blackberry torch. It is light grey kinda looks looks like a mouse with a tail or a Bluetooth earbud. It also has a red circle with a white star indicating there is a new message or something. When I click on the status bar it brings up all the other indicated messages or calls in the list but there is no list to correspond with this icon. When this showed up I had no Bluetooth linked to this phone so I don't think that's it...

Xperia Z5 :: Doesn't Display NFC Icon In Status Bar
Oct 21, 2015I bought a Z5 the other day and I haven't tried NFC until I got me a scr42 style cover for it. I noticed the smart window function doesn't work and realised that the phone doesn't display the NFC icon in the status bar. I've tried activating NFC from both the pull-down menu and the settings and in both the option lights up as if it were enabled, but the icon does not appear and the phone doesn't react to the tag on the cover.

Sometimes when I activate my phone, there is no wifi icon at the top on the status bar, then after a few minutes it appears.
