View 1 RepliesI was showing a friend how to activate his email address in imessage and set his caller ID to his itunes email so that he could receive messages both on his iphone and ipad. And now imessage has stopped working. Orange (his carrier) is now sending us emails about our "multimedia message". Imessage was working when it was set just to his phone number.

Just yesterday my phone has started to malfunction. A pop up window keeps appearing ''Unfortunately, Google Play services has stopped''. I have to click it around 6 times before it stops popping up, this happens frequently every minute.
When I try to use my camera it says ''Unfortunately, Camera has stopped''. When go onto Settings, Half of the menus are unusable. If I click one that's ''broken'' It closes itself immediately.

I updated to symbian Anna today and my OVI store stopped working. So I try to click the icon and my browser opens up and takes me to the site to download the sis file. Once downloaded, the install starts. It gets to a point with a green bar and says : "This could take a few minutes" then it just closes. When I go to the OVI icon in the menu, it does the same thing again: Opens the browser and goes to the page for download..

1. 3G which is recently launched in India, does not work on my phone. I have taken all possible help from the Mobile phone connection service provider.
2. The bluetooth has stopped working.
3. I am unable to send a business card to anyone!
I've been facing great problems in turning on my Bold 9700 mobile. I just changed the sim card and from then the cell is not turning on. Whenever it stars to turn on after a few seconds it restarts, then again the actions replay. I can't even charge it as it keeps turning on and restarting again and again.

I put it in, the phone hangs for a second, like it reading it, then nothing, if eject it and put it back in a few times it comes up with "attention required" and asks me to format it, when doing that it just stays on formatting and looks like it isn't doing anything (left it for 2 hours earlier to do it).
Ive tried hard reseting my phone, soft reseting, formatting the card on my PC etc etc, but nothing.
I have the Bold 9930. Before I left the States, my phone was working perfectly fine...I had email, BBM, whatsapp, text, etc...
When I arrived in Haiti, I wanted to switch my SIM card so I would be able to use/have a Haitian number. I do NOT have an international plan. When the guy put my the Haitian SIM in, the phone requested my BlackBerry ID and password. I typed both in, which were both correct, but it kept telling me that it was an incorrect password. The guy told me that the only way I would be able to "reset" my BlackBerry ID would be to sign out and in order to do that, it would wipe out all my pics and everything. I didn't want to do that so I ended up buying a Haitian phone w/ a Haitian SIM card.
At this point, I have two phones. One American with an American SIM card (BlackBerry) and a Haitian phone with a Haitian SIM card.
When I arrived at my house, I turned on my American phone and its WiFi, but my BBM and Emails were NOT WORKING! However, my Facebook App and the Browser are both working perfectly fine. I restarted my phone many times since yesterday and nothing has changed. I checked this morning to see if it was working, but no luck.
So my question(s)/problem(s) now are:
1. How do I get my BBM working again? (probably the most important one)
2. How do I get my emails working again?
3. Is there any possible way for me to have my BlackBerry(American phone) work with my Haitian SIM Card?
Got a new BB 9900 and cant connect to any of my emails or social networking. It says that i need to contact my provider.Done that and they dont know what the problem is or are taking forever to get back to me.I have reset the phone several times done the security wipe and nothing has worked. Also did the routing table and recieved the reg from RIM but still not working..

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am using a blackberry bold 9700 V5.0.0.862. My phone is unlocked and I am using it on the Fido network. I was away for 5 weeks, and while away I used a simcard from that country in my phone. When I got back to Canada, I put in my fido sim card and the internet was not working. I called Fido and they did a reset on my phone and still no data.
The tech did some trouble shooting as well as gave me the Fido APN info, I did the host routing table reset and still nothing. I have no idea what the problem could be but Fido has told me there is nothing else that they can do, as I am using an unlocked device. I cannot connect to the internet, my BBM does not work, and I am not receieving emails. I can make phone calls and send texts. I have pulled the battery out many times. My phone says 3G.I don't know if some of the setting on my phone locked from using the international sim, if my sim is corrupted, or if I need a new phone.
I've recently updated the software on my blackberry, though my whatsapp, bbm and email ain't working no more.

I cannot send or receive picture messages ever since I attempted to send a picture message during a phone call. I can attach pictures onto a message but once I hit send, the message does not go through and instead I get a red X next to my message. I did not change any of my settings or updated anything. Picture messaging was working fine up until that day. I tried resending my service books and trying to resend a picture message but it still doesn't work. I put my sim card into my old blackberry curve 8900 and tried sending a picture message and it worked, so I am assuming that this is not a network problem but a problem with my bold. I am using an unlocked verizon blackberry bold 9930 on the t-mobile network. I am running OS 7.1 bundle 1737(v.7.1.0.580, Platform 5.1.0.429) (I updated to this OS after my failed attempt of sending picture messages) I also restored by bold to factory settings and resent the service books to see if it would work but it did not. I did a battery pull to see if that changed anything, but I still can't send picture messages.

However I enabled wifi where I am staying so I may still be able to use the blackberry applications such as bbm, facebook, weather network, blackberry app world etc.Everything has been working fine for the first two days but has then recently stopped. I can still browse the web, but my bbm msgs are not going through nor am i receiving any, fb alerts have stopped coming in and so on.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have had a blackberry bold 9780 for the last year and a half and I love it. I recently did a bbm update and shortly after that certain keys worked off and on. I contacted Rogers and they advised to to update the OS so I did. This has not helped. The next call I made to them, they advised me to take it to a rogers store for repair. I did and they informed me that they do not repair out of warranty and they sent me to a kiosk in the mall to have it repaired. According to the kiosk they were not able to fix the issue, they cleaned it, replaced the membrane and still no luck. Now the buttons that worked infrequently no longer work at all. The buttons that do not work are i, o, k,l,m,$ and delete.

I have been using the messenger and all other services for around 4 months now and suddenly my messenger has stopped working. I can use whatsapp and facebook but my messenger wont show any updates or let me send a message or recieve a message. I tried to restart the phone, remove the battery, but still doesn't work. I tried my SIM card on another phone and it's working without any issues.
So randomly yesterday my bolds up volume key stopped working and now I can't even put up my music... The pause and lower volume buttons work though..
