Nokia :: N79 - Speaker - LCD Stopped Working.
Mar 31, 2010I bought a Nokia N79 new handset from Nokia Prority Dealer and after two months LCD stopped working. Being in warranty, I got it replaced by Nokia Care. Now, sometimes the external speakers of the mobile phone stop working and for the same, I went to Nokia care 3 times (infact, this happened thrice) they rectified it, but it has started again. My phone is still in warranty but I am afraid that once the warranty is over, they will start charging for the service. Is there any way to get a new phone from Nokia ?

May 7, 2012i have an iphone 4s unlocked purchased in US and using in india. All of a sudden my iphone speaker stopped working. Ring cannot be heard, music cannot be heard nor any sounds. I have restarted the phone several times. Now i have to check restoring the software once, which i have not done. Apart,Can i replace the phone here in India as i still have warranty.

Mar 31, 2012So there I was, watching video on my iPhone 4s without the headphones in when all of a sudden there was no sound coming out of the right side speaker! I tried to clean the speaker with no luck. I powered the phone off and on, I reset the phone to the factory settings, I even tried to restore the phone from iTunes via my computer. All attempts to fix this failed, I would also like to add that this phone has never seen a drop of water nor has it ever been dropped on anything harder then a pillow. I treat this phone like a new born baby, so why would my speaker suddenly stop working after two and a half months? I've spent hours on the internet looking for solutions, and it doesn't even appear to have a "mute" option just options to turn sound on/off and up/down.

Oct 18, 2010I bought a X10 mini/pro on the 10th of December. Was working fine, and yesterday the speaker suddenly stopped working. Can't hear the ring tone while there is an incoming call. Can listen to music through the earphone but not via the speaker. The speaker is dead.

I can use the loudspeaker or handsfree kit but the internal speaker has stopped working. Could it be a software issue or is it likely to be a hardware one?

Nov 30, 2011My sensation is a few months old and loud speaker has stopped working. I took it to Vodafone who did factory reset and software upgrade which made no difference.
I contacted HTC and they sent the phone back saying its been water damaged and sent me a picture of red indicator. Now I can confirm that phone has always been its case and never been put in water, there are no signs of water mark etc.
HTC are not listening and I don't have insurance. I have asked customer services to raise it further.
I might be barking up the wrong tree. Is it worth doing anything else, may be contacting Vodafone again.

Its been workin like a champ up until tonight.. received a call and i couldn't hear anything, speakerphone works as normal, but the ear speaker does not. I can not hear it ringing when someone call, but if I see someone calling and I answer the call they can hear me and I can hear them fine. I also can't not put the caller on speaker at all , I also can't hear my music or gaming apps. When I turn my phone on or off it does not make a sound as well. I have turned the phone off and turned it off by pressing the top button and home button at the same time and that did not work. I checked the volume and the mute button and the volume is up all the way.

The telephone has a problem, sometimes speaker doesn't work and I can't listen the call, if I switch to the hands-free speaker it works, but in normal use with speaker it doesn't work, After any days the phone works fine, with random frequency. I read in many forums that many users has the same problem, so it is not possible to buy a phone for 499 euro and to have this kind of problem! Jun 25, 2012My Bold 9790 ear speaker has recently stopped working. At first it was not working of just the odd phone call but since a couple of days ago it seems to happen with every single phone call. If I answer the phone or make a call there is absolute silence from the ear speaker although the person on the other end of the phone can hear me. Therefore, in order to hold a conversation on the phone I have to either activate loudspeaker or use the headset.

BB Bold 9000 :: Internal Speaker Not Working At All?
Jun 7, 2010I just put made my first call with the BB. The speakerphone works fine, but the smaller speaker that goes against the ear doesn't work. It does work on my wife's 9000 (bought at the same time from the same place). I've tried the increasing the volume button on the side. My profile is set to normal. I've tried going into the phone application and making sure mute was off, and default volume set to 75%.It does work normally when I put headphones in during a call.Any suggestions, or is it defective?

Do not know how this happened, no damage to the phone at all, all of a sudden anything that plays of the speakerphone is not working, ie) music, alerts, ringtones.. NOTHING. Not even speakerphone during calls.The handset speaker works perfectly fine. I went thru allmy options, looked at all the sound profiles, nothing is working. Videos aren't playing sounds either. But if played through the handset or earphones it works....

Aug 1, 2012I have had my blackberry bold 9900 for about 6 months now. IN the last 2 months i will go to call someone and the phone is silent(No ringing or voice from the other person). So i started pushing keys on my phone to see if i could hear that and i have come to notice that if i hit "#" all of the sudden it starts ringing or the persons voice is there on the other end. They can hear me the whole time but I cannot hear them. When it starts doing this silent thing I am able to hit the # key for about the 1st 2 phone calls then it does not work what so ever. The other person can hear me but I can hear nothing. I then have to take my battery out and restart my phone and it will work for a few hours or maybe a day but then does the same thing again.

I didn't use the earphone until now because I wanted to try if it has a mic and to try it if it works when I call someone. When I tried to test it by playing music in my media, only the left speaker was working. My beats earphone works tho, I even plugged the blackberry earphones on my laptop to make sure if its the phone's problem or the earphones' problem and its the same thing. Oct 28, 2012My MMS suddenly stopped working afterI was trying to send a picture message during a phone call. I cannot send or receive picture messages ever since I attempted to send a picture message during a phone call. I can attach pictures onto a message but once I hit send, the message does not go through and instead I get a red X next to my message. I did not change any of my settings or updated anything. Picture messaging was working fine up until that day. I tried resending my service books and trying to resend a picture message but it still doesn't work. I put my sim card into my old blackberry curve 8900 and tried sending a picture message and it worked, so I am assuming that this is not a network problem but a problem with my bold. I am using an unlocked verizon blackberry bold 9930 on the t-mobile network. I am running OS 7.1 bundle 1737(v.7.1.0.580, Platform 5.1.0.429) (I updated to this OS after my failed attempt of sending picture messages) I also restored by bold to factory settings and resent the service books to see if it would work but it did not. I did a battery pull to see if that changed anything, but I still can't send picture messages.
