I just done a software update on my blackberry bold 9900 whilst sleeping. I woke up this morning to find the phone being switched off, I have tried several times to switch it on with no success. I then put it on the charger where the LED will come on for approx 4-5 seconds and then goes off again.

View 1 Replies View Relatedits a rogers phone wich i unlocked to use on Fido. everything was perfect untill today i decided to uptade it to the new OS 5. everything went fine and then teir was a blackpage with blackberry writen on it it had a litle load icon moving when that over it restarted and turned on i then went to the browser (btw all this and it was still pluged via USB) the next thing i see is that it has turned off it had a red light on (wich untill now still is 15min have passed) what happens is that it keeps reloading that page with the blackberry writen and the white loading line thing but wont turn on (it wont go to the clock)
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have updated my software yesteerday as instructed through Blackberry,howvere now it wont turn on. It turns on so that the blackberry logo shows up with the loading bar loading underneath then about 3/4 of the way through it blanks the screen and starts again.
I have tried taking the battery out when it is running, I have also tried leaving the battery out and it still isnt working.
I bought my bold 9900 yesterday it have some problem with wifi connect..when turn off WIFI connected ---> my phone turn off..I try up Os ( Bell ins. ) for it but no have change Bold 9900 : vendor 331.

I started the updates and after a while it got stuck on one of the updates. Then the updater closed and the "Connect your blackberry device." screen poped up. My Blackberry will now not turn on.
View 1 Replies View RelatedDone a few of these now on my E72 so thought it would be plain sailing. Wrong. The process obviously froze, I gave it plenty of time. The screen said if necessary remove battery etc and reconnect USB lead which is what I did.The phone is now dead other than vibrating as you turn it on. I've tried a hard reset by holding shift, space and backspace while powering up but nothing (other than the vibrate).
View 19 Replies View RelatedThis morning there was an software update on my xperia active, i clicked ok and it failed to download a couple of times, i figured maybe because i was downloading via wi-fi. i finaly downloaded it and then when finished it started to instal. after that my phone went into a "coma" it is non responsive, the only two vague signs of life is when i conected it to my PC and the little green light on the upper left of the screen lite up. but then the PC keeps making the plug-in plug-out sound and nothing happends, the other is when i press the on button on the phone that same green light flashes for a spit of a second and does not show up again. i've downloade SEUS and PCC tried to up date in both of them to update first and then to original setting and nothing, also tried the rapair, under softwear updates and nothing it takes for ever and and twice frozze in mid process.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded my Ray to version 4.0.2.A.0.62. Since the upgrade the Bluetooth doesn't turn on at all, just says "Bluetooth turning on" then reverts to an off state. Prior to the update it worked perfectly. Upgrade was done using PCC, no errors, but even so have tried several repairs since and still doesn't solve the problem. Have tried factory resets, rollback to the original version, Sony Update Service instead of PCC?

I've seen a lot of discussion regarding the X10 not turning on after a failed update, but my issue seems to be different from all of them.I've seen people mentioning that their green light flickers, or the screen is frozen or displays an error message. Mine does NONE of that.Holding down the power button does nothing at all. The phone shows no sign of life. The LED doesn't come on, the screen doesn't come on, nothing. It does nothing.The battery is charged (and I even left it charging for over an hour - during which the LED was STILL off) and it will not connect to any of the Sony Ericsson software on my laptop.

After some head scratching I noticed the wheel only works now in the counter-clockwise direction. Hence the PC companion won't recognize it as well. It doesn't vibrate or turn any lights on, just gets a little bit hotter when connected for a long period of time.
