A notification appeared to update my iphone5c. I pressed update and the phone went off with the apple logo and a loading bar underneath. It begun to load (10-15%) of the way and it stopped and has not moved for a number of hours. I am now unable to use my phone and don't know what to do! Â

View 13 Replies View RelatedFor the past month, my galaxy S6 has been having problems. The screen won't turn on when I press the home or power button. Also when I plug it to its charger, the screen still won't turn on and the LED won't turn red as well. When this happens, I know for a fact that the phone is still turned on because the notification light blinks because of the received notification sometime during its idle time. Here's what I've tried so far:
- I am able to force reset the device by holding the power and volume down button until it restarts. I felt relieved that I am able to restart my phone when it happened the first time but pretty annoyed when it kept on happening.
- I tried clearing cache partition in recovery mode. At first I thought it worked but still...
-I already did a factory reset (twice) but right after the latest hard reset just 3 or 4 hours into it, still screen won't turn on.
- Earlier I thought that it was because of the notifications I was receiving while I was asleep (viber, facebook, sms) since when I woke up in the morning and the screen won't turn on, I had pending notifications. But recently, the screen won't turn on after being idle for a few hours without received notifications.
At first I thought it was a software issue but I'm starting to think that it might be a hardware issue. I'm planning to take it to Samsung in a few days if the problem won't go away. My device is not rooted by the way.
I've just recieved my bb curve 8520 and after it being on charge for over 4 hours, it will not turn on. The screen is showing the blackberry logo, with a bar underneath as if it was updating. the bar only reaches a certain point beofre it stops.Does anyone have any ideas about why this is and what I can do to turn it on??
View 1 Replies View RelatedI got my phone yesterday, and it was working for about 18 hours. All of a sudden I picked it up at work and it is no longer turning on. I tried plugging it into the charger, holding volume up + power, holding volume down plus power, but nothing worked. I called Google support and they are going to send a new phone, but this doesn't give me a lot of confidence in this phone.

The battery wasn't near dead, but I tried charging it. The red light will stay on for a few minutes and then just turns off. Is there something else I should try?

Everything else was opening up fine so I turned the phone off and took the battery out. Now it keeps loading up to about 3/4 of the way and it just freezes there! I've tried connecting it to the computer but I can't backup my files coz there's no way I can type the password in off the phone. I don't wanna have to reset the whole thing coz my files aren't backed up
View 8 Replies View RelatedSo I began this process at 9AM and thank goodness it went somewhat flawless. I did a backup of my 8530 and then began updating via the new desktop .654 to my 8530. I did have to tweak a few things like facebook and the home screen but other than that it was ok.
I posted earlier and am posting this so others might realize that this is a long process -- hope this helps someone else who thought it might be a few hours but not 5!
i'm trying to update the operating system on my 9100.it is taking literally hours. is this normal?? it keeps being so slow on "net_rim_bb_maps.cod" and i think the bar has moved a little, but its still showing that same module for at least the past 5, 6 hours. what do i do?

Once in a while a message comes up that says "unfortunately, contacts has stopped." I've tried everything short of a factory restart (which I don't want to have to do) . This update is terrible, I have slow speeds, freezing screen and the contact issue.

ALL of our phones were in "Do Not Disturb" mode with the only exclusion list being a couple family members' phone numbers. There is no option to block system update alerts in the middle of the night. There is no slider to select/deselect that. It seems like this would be a pretty basic option.
