Dec 30, 2011I am having issue with my emails account and had deleted all my email account off of my blackberry.I had since to figure out how to delete the current email icons on my Blackberry.

May 21, 2010I just bought a new bold 9700 to use, instead of my bold 9000. With blackberry desktop manager is used the device switch wizard to transfer everything to my 9700. However when it was done, my email icons were gone. I can only read my emails with the "messages" icon, but not my different email adresses appart. Does anyone know how i can fix this?

Jan 20, 2010I recently upgraded then downgraded os's and now my email icons are all plain. Usually aol or yahoo icons would show. Also, my 2 gmail account icons I cant seem to get into. I click on them and it just freezes. What am I doing wrong. Even my blackberry messenger contact pictures look blank.

Aug 9, 2010Won't bore you with all the details, but I am now on my second Bold in four days, and the email icons for the accounts I have set up are not populating. I'm referring to the branded icons, not the generic BB envelope/globe icons. I've sent service books and done battery pulls. Has anyone else ever had this problem upon initial set up? I have now experienced the same issue with two different devices.

Feb 20, 2012Problem: My 3 email account icons disappeared on the phone First happened last week I believe on 2/14 and again this morning. The 3 accounts are a BlackBerry, Hotmail and a company account (Outlook) with Microsoft Exchange I was able to get the BlackBerry and the Hotmail account to work again by entering the passwords but not the Outlook account, the error message is: [URL] password is invalid. Please try again Last night I was able to get my Outlook email account to work again however I lost it again this morning with same error message, p.s. also lost the other 2 accounts this morning but got them going again easily.

Jan 11, 2010I have a strange issue on my BlackBerry 9700 Bold, which I got on Orange UK. For some reason my E-mail and SMS Notifications are stacking under the same icon. So for example if I have 3 e-mails and 1 text it shows 4 as the e-mail Notification icon. I have friends on Vodafone who get two separate icons. So far I've tried the following: I've tried updating the firmware to the latest sticky at the top of this forum. Making sure Display New message indicator under General Options is set to yes Battery pull. I still get a red star over the SMS icon in the menu, but just no notification. In my themes menu I have Precision Zen and Precision Orange. Both have the same issue.

Battery pull did not fix the issue.
I've had my Curve BB for over a month with little to no problems (it stopped 'pushing' to my custom email a couple weeks ago, but I researched and resent the service books, etc. and it worked fine after that). Now, however, it has dropped/removed my two custom email icons. Poof. Gone. One minute they were there, the next, gone. I've already checked to make sure they weren't hidden. They're not. I went into email setting again and it no longer even showed them as having been set up - one of them being my home email that is pushed to my BB and the second being my BB email itself.

Deleting everything in my message folder
Turning the phone off
Taking the battery out
Sending additional email to see if that re-sets it before taking the battery out

Apr 10, 2012Has a solution been found which will allow clearing the cached email address entries on an iproduct? Deleting contacts, addresses and rebooting the device doesn't work. Restoring the device should not be the only solution as many business users don't know the first thing about iTunes or syncing thus most enterprise devices have never been sync'd.

BB Bold :: How To Clear Memory For 9700?
Feb 18, 2012I'm sure this has been asked before but for some reason when I connect my BB Bold 9700 to my computer it says my memory is very low or exceeding the limit... I have very little apps on my phone, and I regularly delete emails/sms/mms messages. Now when I go to take pictures it says I only have "7 Photos Remaining" when before it never said that. How do I check my memory? Or how do I clear my memory or delete unnecessary things? I have already tried restoring my phone and it didn't really work.
